Over twenty years ago, before Susan Alamo’s death April 8, 1982, she predicted, on her national syndicated television program, "After my death, they will frame Tony and our churches."

"We had our first encounter with this group [the Cult Awareness Network] in California approximately three and a half years ago [now over twenty-three and a half years ago]. Suddenly there were people appearing on television with all sorts of wild accusations against us. The next thing we knew, they would be printed in newspapers across the country.

"I began to realize that we had been picked for destruction by the news media. Having been a member of the news media at one time, it was obvious to me that all the members of the press were not ignorant or deceived regarding the lies being told about Tony and myself. These lies were told by most of the major newspapers and major television newscasts, as well as by television magazines throughout the world.

CALAMITIES

"You see our nation falling. You see the moral decay, the destruction of decency everywhere. People are afraid to walk the streets any longer in the cities. Look at our presidents that have been set up for assassination. And I truly believe that Tony Alamo and myself have been set up by the press, by the news media, for out and out destruction, and I don’t believe there is another way you could describe it.

"I believe, as I sit before you now and look out into your faces, that Tony Alamo and I will be framed one of these days. The government will have to resort to such measures because there’s nothing they are saying about us that is truthful, there’s nothing they are saying about us that is right, and there’s nothing that they can say about us that could cause us to stop preaching the truth. We will not be conditioned by them as the rest of the world has been conditioned by them."

TONY AND SUSAN ALAMO CALLED TO PASTOR AND TEACH

On April 8, 1982, Susan Alamo died of terminal cancer. She had come from a little town in Arkansas and from the very beginning all could see the Lord’s power in her life. Susan wrote a book, which is yet to be published. In it she unveils some of her first supernatural revelations and other experiences with the Lord.

In Susan’s book she states, "If you would have told Tony and myself that we would be pastoring a church in 1965, especially a hippie church, we would have said ‘impossible’ and think the very thought of it a joke. We were evangelists with many invitations to preach in churches. Our appointments were also with Christian businessmen’s groups for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. We had no involvement in the hippie scene. It was remote from our lives. I had and still have no knowledge of drugs and wouldn’t know one narcotic from another. From our converts we’ve heard of yellow jackets, red devils, nembutals, barbiturates, heroin, and smack. To us, these were all just so many words. Tony and I don’t even take aspirin tablets so all these others were foreign to us. But we know Jesus.

JESUS HEALS SUSIE

"I [Susan] have known Him since I was a child. He revealed Himself to me when I was a little girl. At the time, I was dying of tuberculosis.

"Some Christian people rented an old abandoned garage down the street from my family and held revival meetings there. My family said they were from the devil, a bunch of fanatics that should be put into jail. But every evening as I lay there alone, my body wasting away day by day and the doctors giving me no hope, I heard the voices of 'those crazy people,' 'the fanatics down the street,' singing What a Friend We Have in Jesus. Every evening I waited to hear their songs.

"One day a neighbor lady sneaked into the house and told me the people down the street were praying for me. I could hear my mother crying when the family tried to convince her that she must make up her mind to give me up. When you lie very still for a long period of time, your hearing becomes very sensitive. One evening I began to fade away. In the excitement of my upcoming death, the 'fanatics' got into the house unnoticed. They knelt down beside my bed and cried out to God. Then Jesus came into my sick room and healed me.

SALVATION: A SECOND VISIT FROM THE LORD

"I was invited to the mountain farm of my cousin and his wife, who gave me fresh eggs and milk to regain my strength. There was an old fashioned record player, the kind that you crank, in the little room of the farmhouse that was my bedroom. There was only one record. On one side was ‘When the world’s on fire, when the world’s on fire, let God’s bosom be my pillow. Hide me over in the Rock of Ages, Rock of Ages cleft for me.’

"On the wall was an old fashioned calendar. I doubt that my cousin or his wife even knew about the record player or had paid any attention to the calendar. They were newlyweds, and the record and calendar had probably been left there by someone else. On the calendar was a picture of a cross chiseled out of rock. Hanging onto the cross was a girl with long blond hair. She clung to the cross as big waves beat all around her feet. That girl became me, and the Spirit of God began to convict me. His Spirit made me know I was a sinner. Although I was only nine years old, I felt as if all the sins of the world were on my shoulders. Even though God had healed me, I was unsaved. I, like all of us, was 'shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.’1 I, like all of us, knew I 'must be born again'2 if I intended to inherit the kingdom of Heaven. I would play the record, look at the calendar, and cry. I could not sleep and I could not eat.

"I had seen Jesus when I was five years old. He had appeared to me.3 After I was old enough to read and understand the Scriptures, I realized why He had appeared to me at the age of five. It was so that I would know who He was at age nine when He convicted me of my sins. In this way I would know to cry out to Him to receive my salvation, because He alone is God the Saviour,4 the mediator between God the Father and man.5 There is no other means given to us by God for our salvation but through Jesus Christ our Lord,6 and there is no other name given by God to us that we may call upon for our salvation but the name of Jesus the Christ, our Lord and Saviour.7 Jesus is God8 who came to the world as a man to appropriate our salvation for us.9

"After several days and nights of agonizing conviction, I walked out into the mountains and fell upon my face before God, crying out to Him to save me. I called upon the Christ I had seen. Suddenly, the heavens opened and the Spirit of the living God came down into my very soul. I knew I was saved. God revealed some very supernatural wonders unto me that day, things I never forgot. One of these wonders was the knowledge that I would preach the gospel in the last days before Christ would come back to earth.

GOD'S WORLDWIDE JESUS MOVEMENT STARTS WITH THE ALAMOS

"God very supernaturally put Tony and I together. He used us in a mighty way to start the Jesus movement, which spread throughout the world. It was during a time of severe persecution that I discovered my cancer. Our new converts were distributing gospel literature throughout Los Angeles, primarily in Hollywood and West Hollywood’s Sunset Strip where there was an infestation of Satan’s corruption manifested in nude bars, porno bookstores, drug dealers, and heads of revolutionary movements—Black Panthers, hired killers, pill heads, pot heads, heroin, cocaine addicts, prostitutes, and you name it. We were in the midst of them, ministering to all of them. Later the members of our congregation, who were saved out of all the satanic movements of that hour, were there with us, handing out our gospel literature with a message from the Lord to their former friends, who were still involved with the satanic movements, an appeal for them all to repent of their sins.

JESUS THE CRIMESTOPPER

"The message from the Lord began cutting deeply into the sales of alcohol, drugs, pornography and every other vice. Many top drug dealers, as well as the others, were saved and are still in our congregation.

"Business was suffering in the nudie bars as well as in all the other satanic dens of vice. Poor, lost sinners don’t enjoy their bondage of sin so much when a strong Christian soldier is standing at the door of their weaknesses with a message of God’s strength to deliver. He will claim victory over all evil, saying, ‘Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.’10 But all drunkards, adulterers, fornicators, liars, and thieves ‘shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.’11 ‘It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:’12 so poor, sorry sinner, repent of your sins, or you shall surely perish, burn in Hell, and be tormented there eternally.13 Jesus Christ is coming back to earth again very soon.14 Some of us may go out to meet Him today. We have no guarantee that we are going to live another moment. But we are all guaranteed to die sooner or later and stand face to face with the Almighty God for judgment or mercy.15

THE WICKED HATE GOD'S MESSAGE OF MERCY FOR THEM

"Because of God’s merciful message of repentance, all the dens of iniquity rose up against our church. They complained to the police and the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department. The police and sheriffs raided our church, where Christians were sleeping. They raided at all hours of the night. Their yelling, shouting, beatings, and bright flashing lights would disturb the neighbors, creating all sorts of noise and confusion. They would then solicit our neighbors to sign petitions against us for the noise that they had caused, saying that we were a public nuisance. Can you imagine it? A church that was rescuing literally thousands and thousands of our nation’s youth off narcotics, drugs, alcohol, and every variety of vice, restoring them into the life of Christ, and making life much safer not only for themselves, but for all the citizens in the city of Los Angeles and everywhere in the world, was deemed by the judges in the West Hollywood and Beverly Hills district to be a public nuisance. The judges ruled our church to be a public nuisance when just a half block away homosexuals were driving up and down the streets soliciting young runaways while prostitutes everywhere along Sunset Strip sold their wares to support drug habits that had grown too expensive for them.

THE LAW OF GOD IS TRASHED WHILE THE GOVERNMENT PROTECTS THE WICKED

"The government protected them, and is still doing its best to condemn the many messages of God brought to the world through us. It is causing the deterioration of everything in the world. With all these and other evils running rampant just around the corner, our church, of all places, was singled out as being 'the public nuisance.' My God, my God, how the devil runs his world! We have gone through a lot of persecution, but the Lord was always there. This made us consistently happier than we've ever been in our lives. And we can honestly say that we have never experienced a root of bitterness at all because we are so sure of the great reward we shall receive for our obedience to Him.

"I soon became worn out. Neither Tony nor I were eating half the time. There were many days where we would go all day and far into the night with only a hamburger we grabbed on the run.

CANCER DISCOVERED

"Adding to my fatigue and the strain was a lump I noticed in my breast. I went to the doctor and she verified my fears, saying 'You have cancer. We’ll have to get you to the hospital as fast as we can.' I knew the doctor was right, but I just couldn’t bring myself to tell Tony what the situation was. I knew I had to make some decision before God. One of these was that I could not go to the hospital. It was all we could do between the two of us to keep the church open. There was no money. Some of the fundamentalist churches in the area came to our rescue as best they could by raising a little money, but they were fearful that the sheriffs would think they were in collusion with us and give them the same 'treatment' that they were giving us. However much they tried to raise money for us, there was never enough with all those mouths to feed, the heavy rent to pay, and all the money we paid in court costs. I made my decision before God, one I have never regretted, not even when I passed literally through the shadow of death in the winter of 1971 through 1972 a couple of years later. I would have made the same decision. There was no choice. I knew it was either one life or thousands. I just knew that if the churches ever could become firmly established, thousands of converts would follow.

"I worked harder and harder, knowing my days were numbered, knowing there was only a short time to accomplish a lot. When I stand in the pulpit now [1980] and look out into those faces, I know many of them would be in jails, mental institutions, or dead and in Hell if I had not made this decision."

HATRED OF GOD'S WORD PROMOTED BY THE "ESTABLISHMENT"

How Satan hated Susie for making that decision! And how he still hates Tony and the brothers and sisters here at the church today! Satan threw everything he had at Susan, at Tony, and at this church. He used one government agency after another to bring false accusations against us, dragging us from one courtroom to another.

Twenty-four hours before Susie’s death, while she was in a coma, federal marshals marched into her room at the hospital. They began pulling her bed out of the room with her IV, saying they were there to pick her up so she could testify in court. It was through the valiant efforts of Dr. Hogue at the Oral Roberts hospital in Tulsa that their evil mission was stopped. After 2½ hours of his pleading to the judge by phone that Susan Alamo could not testify, and would probably be dead by morning, the judge finally gave in.

WE SAW AND HEARD THE MOCKERS AND SCOFFERS OF WHICH JESUS AND THE APOSTLES FORETOLD

After Susan’s death that evening, the news media had a field day. They mocked her funeral, mocking our church for closing our businesses while we were in mourning. It made Pastor Alamo and the rest of us see how really true the Bible is. The Lord said that devilish people in the last days would do these kind of evil things.16

Although the world said we were finished and our work would fold up, it didn’t realize this work was founded on the Word of God. Our work is truly sent from God. When one servant goes to God’s paradise where everything is perfect and joyful and no wickedness exists, other bold, faithful servants are sent by the Lord to continue His work. We have prepared and fortified our hearts to fight Satan harder and stronger, despite the intense persecutions that have followed. The Lord has used us to wake up a lot of the world.

The Lord has given Pastor Alamo many messages from the Word of God, which we have published and distributed by the hundreds of millions. We have received letters of support and encouragement from thousands of Christian pastors and laymen around the world. As the Lord says in Exodus 1:12, "The more they afflicted them [God’s people, the Hebrew children], the more they multiplied and grew." God is adding many godly helpers, people with different abilities and people in many other lands. The Word of God, like a flame of fire, is sweeping the earth.17

"And I heard a voice from Heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."18 The Holy Alamo Christian Church Consecrated is Susan Alamo’s works following her.

MORE FALSE QUOTES

The government and the news media keeps stating that I, Tony Alamo, said I would raise Susan from the dead. I never said that. No one can furnish a tape or any of my writings stating such a sacrilegious thing. What I said was that I prayed God would raise her from the dead because God, Who has done such things before, has never changed.19 His infinite power is the same today as it was from before the beginning of time.20 He can and will do that. As a matter of fact, He will one day raise everyone from the dead, some to everlasting life and some to everlasting damnation.21

THE GOVERNMENT AND THEIR MOUTHPIECE, THE MEDIA

The government and the news media will do anything that they can to make us look as though we are heretics or some kind of cult. In reality, we are the most sound, fundamental, orthodox Christian church in the world. The media has poisoned people’s minds about born-again Christians. They, the media and government, are the ones spreading the evil lies given to them by the spirits of evil and darkness. "And there was given unto him [the one-world government] a mouth [the press and news media] speaking great things and blasphemies; and power [destructive power] was given unto him to continue forty and two months."22

The world needs to remember that there is no life-giving power in the lies that they are receiving today. There is no life-giving power in false doctrine of any kind.23 The power of life exists only in the Word of God.24 The world has seen our church stand firm and grow despite the tremendous persecution and the false allegations against us. They have seen one miserable cult after another that was sent into our country by Rome’s one-world government, disappear as we have consistently increased. As Paul’s teacher of the law, Gamaliel, stated, "If this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."25

Susan was right. They framed Tony by using many threatened and paid liars in the courtroom, as well as the government and their partner, the Cult Awareness Network, stealing all of our books, records, and receipts so that we wouldn’t have evidence to prove Tony's innocency. Although the government was 254 days past the statute of limitations and a magistrate dismissed the first three year charge, a judge in Memphis went ahead with the prosecution anyway, knowing the government framework was in place.

Tony Alamo is not guilty of failing to file taxes, or tax fraud. A true Christian work is biblically tax exempt.26

The same thing they’re doing today with the Christians is what was done in Poland, in Czechoslovakia, and in Germany with the Jews. It’s by the same people. The news media and government made the persecuted individuals look as though they were evil, low class human beings, just as they are doing to today’s Christians, so that the general public applauded when these condemned individuals were herded into the gas chambers, or burnt with their children at Waco. That’s what they do to every person or class of people that they target.

VICTORY IN JESUS OUR SAVIOUR FOREVER

Susan and I, as well as the redeemed and faithful members of our worldwide church, have the victory in Jesus our Saviour forever.27 By having victory in Jesus I mean we are still possessors of our souls by His power.28 Satan fought hard to get them, but he lost miserably. We have never lost the faith, nor have we lost our zeal or any other part of God’s armor. We also have not lost our will to do the will of God. We have fought a good fight.29 Susie and the many thousands of souls that she won by preaching Christ’s salvation into them have finished the course and received their crowns of life.30 Those of us who remain in this spiritual war called Armageddon between God and Satan for the soul of man don’t have much longer to wait till we too are given our place in that heavenly paradise which God has promised to those who are faithful.31

THE REDEEMED GET ETERNAL LIFE; THE UNREPENTANT SINNER GETS ETERNAL HELL

The paradise of God is given to the redeemed of God.32 It is said that "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him."33

We have tremendous blessed assurance, which is wrapped in God’s promises, in our souls.34 We know these promises are true, for it is written that God cannot lie.35 Jesus is coming back to earth again to take His bride, His church, home to that paradise with Him.36 At the same time He will execute fiery indignation and vengeance on all the vile mockers and scoffers, all those who oppressed Him as well as all His people.37

SATAN'S LAWLESSNESS

It is written that when Herod had seen that he was deceived by the learned men, he became greatly incensed.38 Having sent off those appointed to fulfill his wishes, he put to death all the male children two years of age and younger in Bethlehem and in all the surrounding territory.39 This he did in accordance with the time of birth he had carefully obtained from the learned men.40 Herod did this evil in an attempt to kill the babe Christ, who was God come into the world as a man.41 Today, those of Herod’s spirit are trying to snuff out or abort the babe Christ, the young man Christ, and the Christ who is fully grown up spiritually in the bodies of all those who have committed themselves to Christ to continue His work.

I remember when I first began reading the Scriptures that I thought how awful it was to see people as wicked as this man. Yet we see millions of women today killing their own children in the womb. If you are a student of the Bible, you can see this scripture is fulfilled in that it was prophesied that in the latter days "the love of many shall wax cold."42 It’s no wonder that masses of people on earth have taken on the same spirit as Herod, applauding vigorously as they see Satan persecuting the very Christ who lives in His followers, those who are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.43

So the scriptures then were "fulfilled that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet, saying, a voice in Rama was heard, lamentation, and great wailing; Rachel weeping [audibly] for her children, and she desired not to be comforted, because they were not."44 Herod was a figure or symbol of Satan. Rachel, the beloved wife of Jacob, who was the father of all the tribes of Israel and today’s spiritual Israel, will groan until the glad day Christ comes to take us away.45

A HEAVENLY SCENE

Susan, who is presently in Heaven’s paradise, is with all those children slaughtered by Herod. Until children reach the age of accountability, they are not condemned to Hell. They will spend eternity in Heaven because it is written "where no law is, there is no transgression."46 But woe be unto those who have put them to death.

Also, water baptism is of no significance to God until a person reaches the age of accountability, that is, knows that they are a sinner, then becomes convicted of their sins, repents, and becomes born again of the Spirit.47 Then and only then is it necessary for them to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.48

In Acts 2:38, baptizing in the name of Jesus did not mean only in the name Jesus. The original amplified Greek text reads, "Be baptized upon the ground of your confession of belief in the sum total of all that Jesus Christ is in His glorious person." All that Jesus is in His glorious person is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit: one God. In Matthew 28:19 we are told by Jesus Himself that individuals are to be baptized "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."

All the children that Herod murdered, as well as all children from the beginning of time till the end of time who did not reach the age of accountability and were not baptized before their death, entered the kingdom of Heaven and will continue to enter the kingdom of Heaven, to live there eternally. The thief who repented on the cross next to Christ was saved when he acknowledged Christ as being the Lord.He is "Immanuel,"49 He was not baptized with water, but Christ stated, "To day shalt thou be with me in paradise."50

I hope that your consciences are not eased over whatever part you have taken in today’s many persecutions of God’s righteous people. Those of you who have committed first degree murder and persecuted the saints who are the Lord's "bride" may get away with it here in Herod’s courtroom, but you will never be forgiven in eternity unless you repent of your sins.51

WHY HAS SATAN INCREASED HIS EFFORTS TO DESTROY MANKIND?

"And I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."52 "Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time."53

JESUS DESTROYS THE DEVIL

"He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil."54 "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He [Jesus] also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil."55

THE ULTIMATE METHOD GOD USES TO DESTROY THE DEVIL

"By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee [Satan] as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more."56

God is only merciful to those who are truly repentant.57 Ask Christ this instant to come into your heart and wash all your filthy sins and deeds away in the precious blood that He shed for you on the cross of Calvary. If you do this, you shall be saved from the torments of a never-ending Hell.58 Start now by saying this prayer:

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.

Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
