ARE YOU GUILTY OF THE BIGGEST SIN?

by Tony Alamo

The world government is guilty of this sin! You may ask, “How do I know what the world’s greatest sin is, and who are you to judge?” I’m not judging with my own judgment. I’m using the Word of God, God’s judgment.1 In the Word of God, I Timothy 1:15, Paul, by the Holy Spirit, said, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; OF WHOM I AM CHIEF.”

In Galatians 1:13-20, Paul admits how he became the world’s biggest sinner by saying, “For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I PERSECUTED THE CHURCH OF GOD, AND WASTED IT: And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers. But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by His grace, To reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother. Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.”

Paul is said to be more than a mere spectator at the martyrdom of Stephen. He was said to be more than likely an assistant, for as we see in Acts 7:58, “the witnesses laid aside their robes at the feet of a young man named Saul” (Saul was Paul’s Jewish name Acts 13:9).

After the burial of Stephen, Saul continued his persecution of the church.2 We are told this over and over again in Luke’s narrative and in Paul’s own speeches and epistles. In Acts 8:3, we hear that Saul began ravaging the church (the only true church of God, the born of the Holy Spirit Christians).

He, just like the Department of Human Services, the FBI, the Arkansas State Police, and other demonic agencies, began invading the sanctuaries of domestic life, entering house after house(Acts 8:3). He committed to prison those men and women whom he tore from their homes. Paul notes, “And I punished them oft in every synagogue [churches], and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities” (Acts 26:11).

Stephen wasn’t the only one to suffer death, as may be inferred from Paul’s own confession. He admits, “I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering unto prisons both men and women [as this government has done and still continues doing]” (Acts 22:4). Paul continues, “…and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them” (Acts 26:10). He even endeavored to compel them “to blaspheme” (Acts 26:11). His fame as an inquisitor was notorious. Even at Damascus, Ananias had heard “how much harm” he had done to Christ’s “saints at Jerusalem” (Acts 9:13). It was not without reason that in his later years he remembered how “beyond measure I persecuted the church of God” (Gal. 1:13).

If Paul was the world’s greatest sinner for persecuting the church beyond measure before he knew Christ, just think of how much more of a sinner one would be for persecuting the church of God after knowing Christ. “Woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! Good were it for that man [person] if he had never been born” (Mark 14:21).

“For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire” (II Pet. 2:20-22).3

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, And have tasted the good Word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned” (Heb. 6:4-8).

“For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know Him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto Me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge His people” (Heb. 10:26-30).

“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” (I Pet. 4:17).

The world’s greatest sinners are those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit by turning on God and His church after they have been saved.

If you’re not saved, say this prayer and you will be, but continue in Him to the end:

Prayer

My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.

Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
