In HEAVEN AND EARTH JESUS is the WORD of GOD and HE is GOD (John 1:1).1 HE, GOD, “became flesh [by the immaculate conception by the HOLY SPIRIT] and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). The WORD, which is GOD, dwelt among us when HE made HIMSELF flesh, the human SON of GOD, or SON of Man, and HIS earthly name among us is JESUS. But still, for sure, HE is the WORD of GOD.2 We are saved, born again of the WORD, which is SPIRIT and is LIFE, if we believe on—in HIM, the WORD of GOD, which is HIS real NAME.3

“In the beginning was the WORD and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD…and the WORD became flesh [the same as the WORD became LIGHT and created everything]” (John 1:1, 14), and his human name is JESUS. When the people of Israel in the time of Moses had sinned by their murmuring, even though they had GOD with them who had delivered them from Egypt and their other enemies and GOD’S enemies, GOD sent poisonous serpents among them to bite those ungrateful people, and they died. The WORD of GOD spoke to Moses telling him to make a brass snake and lift it up on a pole. This was symbolic of JESUS, who became sin.4 The serpent or snake would be symbolic of JESUS, the WORD of GOD, who would become our sinfulness and die in our place on the cross pole. If we believe that the WORD of GOD is true, we will put our eyes on the WORD of GOD, that HE died in our place, and follow HIM so we are able to live eternally in Heaven.

John 3:14 says, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the SON of MAN be lifted up [crucified on the cross. Again, the serpent symbolizes CHRIST, who became sin, then died for our sins on HIS cruel cross, which should have been ours.]: That whosoever believeth IN HIM [we become IN HIM when we believe IN HIM] should not perish [spend eternity in the boiling Lake of Fire’s torments], but have eternal life. [The WORD gives us a second chance.] For GOD [the WORD] so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten SON [HIS incarnate self], that whosoever believeth IN HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life. For GOD [the WORD] sent not HIS SON [HIS incarnate self] into the world to condemn the world [The world was already condemned. This is why HE wanted to come into the world.]; but that the world through HIM [through their belief in HIM, the WORD] might be saved [not would be saved, but MIGHT be saved]. He that believeth on HIM [the WORD, the whole WORD of GOD (the KJV, Hebrew Bible)] is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten SON of GOD. And this is the condemnation, that LIGHT [the WORD] is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than LIGHT, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the LIGHT, neither cometh to the LIGHT, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth [the WORD] cometh to the LIGHT, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought [brought forth] in GOD” (John 3:14-21).

The WORD tells us, “Man shall not live by bread [from a bakery] alone, but by every WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of GOD” (Matthew 4:4). In John 6:48 JESUS, the WORD, says, “I am that BREAD of LIFE.” “This is the BREAD which cometh down from HEAVEN, that a man may eat thereof, and not die” (John 6:50). JESUS means we are to eat HIS WORDS, which are SPIRIT and LIFE. The LIFE is in the WORD. The LIFE is in HIS blood (Leviticus 17:11, 14, Deuteronomy 12:23). To walk in HIS SPIRIT is to be walking also in HIS WORD. HIS SOUL, HIS LIFE is the same as in HIS SOUL, HIS BLOOD. To drink HIS BLOOD is the same as drinking HIS WORD, HIS LIFE, SOUL, HIS SPIRIT, THE WORD.

JESUS says, “I am the LIVING BREAD which came down from HEAVEN: if any man eat of this BREAD, he shall LIVE for ever: and the BREAD that I will give is my flesh” (John 6:51). In other words, HE loved our eternal souls, life, more than HIS own human life.  If you believe your sins are forgiven by HIS sacrificial act, by HIS giving of HIMSELF for you to have eternal LIFE, if you believe HE IS YOUR SAVIOR, and if you believe HIS WORDS, HIS LIVING WORDS, you shall never die. This is because HIS WORDS, which are SPIRIT and LIFE, live in you.5 “And the BREAD I will give is MY FLESH, which I will give [on the cross] for the life of the world [only for those who believe]” (John 6:51).

“Then JESUS said unto them [the Jews], Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except you eat the flesh of the SON of MAN, and drink HIS blood, ye have no LIFE in you. Whoso eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For MY flesh is meat indeed, and MY blood is drink indeed. He that eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, dwelleth in ME, and I in him. [He that receives that I gave MY flesh and blood on the cross is saved and will live forever.]” (John 6:53-56).

If you have CHRIST the WORD and HIS SPIRIT, HIS SOUL, which is HIS LIFE, and have HIS BLOOD, living in you, you are ALIVE in HIM, and HE LIVES in you, if you keep HIS commandments. If you ask for HIS LIFE, HE will give it to you. It is up to you to keep eating and drinking HIM through the WORD. Say this prayer, and you shall be saved.

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11
