INCARNATION

by Tony Alamo

The act of Deity assuming flesh occurs when Deity, by His Spirit, enters the world in the body made of clay, dirt, or dust, which is human flesh, living in this vessel to do His work of Deity (God) in this world. 1

If we, by the virtue of accepting Christ’s Spirit entering into us, are the “sons of God” (I John 3:1), and the Scriptures say that we who are born-again Christians are the continuation of Christ’s incarnation on earth, this means those who persecute true Christians (us), are persecuting Christ.

When Christ by vision stopped the Apostle Paul in his tracks when he was persecuting Christians, He said, “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou Me?” (Acts 9:4). He did not say, “Why are you persecuting My followers?” This was because Christ by the Holy Spirit was in them, just as He is in believers today.

Again, we are the continuation of Christ’s incarnation on earth. It was most gracious of Christ to have voluntarily taken on or assumed for Himself a human body with its human nature.2 Jesus is one person with two natures which are impossible to annul. They are permanent, indissolubly united. One nature is that of the eternal Son of God, and the other nature is that of human, in all ways human “yet without sin” (Heb. 4:15).

Of course, when we become born again of the Spirit, the Spirit of Christ in the Father is in us.3 Therefore, we have the two natures as well.

Christ never knew sin.4 His two natures were His at His miraculous conception and birth. This birth, this incarnation, is without parallel in history. By our uniting our spirit with Christ, the Spirit of God with our spirit makes us “sons of God”. I John 3:1 says, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.” Our Father in Heaven, when He restores those who repent and believe the whole Word of God, which is Christ, adopts them into Christ to be sons with the same privileges as members of the divine family, and makes them joint-heirs of everything with Christ, Heaven included.5 We must be the continuation of Christ with the Father by the Holy Spirit in us to be the sons of God.

OUR INCARNATION

Romans 8:15-18 states, “For ye [who are sons of God] have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear (dying); but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

Galatians 4:4-7 states, “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”

Ephesians 1:5 says, “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will.”

II Corinthians 6:18 states, “And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” We get there by being the continuation of Christ’s incarnation right now.

The incarnation is the greatest event which ever occurred in the history of Heaven and earth outside of the creation of Heaven and earth. The most important events are: (1) the creation of Heaven and earth—the entire universe; (2) the incarnation; (3) the life and death of Christ, the incarnated One; (4) His resurrection; (5) His ascension; (6) our incarnation; (7) our God-given ability to communicate with Him, our Lord and our God; (8) co-habitation with our God in the flesh, incarnation, we God-men and women!!

Isaiah 59:20-21, along with many Old Testament and New Testament Scriptures, tell of the incarnation: “And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob [Israel, spiritual Israel], saith the Lord. As for Me, this is My covenant with them, saith the Lord; My Spirit that is upon thee, and My Words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.”

Jesus said, “The glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are one: I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me” (John 17:22-23). “If ye love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” “If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make Our abode with him” (John 14:15-17, 23).

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus” (Gal. 3:28). “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” (Eph. 4:13). “And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all” (Eph. 1:22-23).

You will be saved and will be a member of His body also if you receive His salvation now. Do so by saying this prayer unto God in the name of Jesus:

Prayer

My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.

Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
