The devil NEVER forces anyone to sin. The devil cannot make you to sin. He only tempts us. If you are overwhelmed with temptation, it is not coming from GOD, who tempts no one, but it is coming from the devil, the tempter, the evil one who hates you and me and wants us to be in Hell with him forever. “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of GOD: for GOD cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth HE any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death” (James 1:13-15).

Before the WORD of GOD became flesh, HE as JESUS came into the world to save souls; we who are saved were sinners. All those who are in the world are sinners.1 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD” (Romans 3:23). JESUS came to save sinners, to make them the SONS of GOD: “I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Matthew 9:13b). “But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the SONS of GOD [by adoption], even to them that believe on HIS name [who is the WORD of GOD]” (John 1:12). We were all dead in sin (Ephesians 2:1, Colossians 2:13), but JESUS came to make dead men alive in CHRIST. After we are saved, we are never to yield ourselves again to temptation. If we do, if we let ourselves be overcome with the devil’s temptations, we become followers of the devil, NOT the LORD. The devil did not force you to sin. You chose to sin willingly. “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death” (James 1:14-15).

We are at war with the spirit of the devil. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). The devil has declared war against GOD and HIS SAINTS. “And there was war in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon [the devil and Satan]; and the dragon fought and his angels” (Revelation 12:7). “And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against GOD, to blaspheme HIS NAME, and HIS tabernacle [those of us who HE lives in], and them that dwell in Heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the SAINTS, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” (Revelation 13:6-7).

We don’t use guns, bullets, bombs, or any other carnal weapon. Our weapons are SPIRITUAL. “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through GOD to the pulling down of strong holds)” (2 Corinthians 10:4). “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of GOD, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth [the WORD of GOD], and having on the breastplate of righteousness [which is the WORD of GOD]; And your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace [which is the WORD of GOD, the SPIRIT]; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked [taking on the shield of faith means knowing the HOLY SPIRIT, the WORD of GOD]. And take the helmet of salvation [the WORD of GOD, to know you are safe], and the sword of the SPIRIT, which is the WORD of GOD” (Ephesians 6:13-17). If we’re at war with the devil, we know we are being shot at, and we must only use the armor and weapon GOD has provided for us, the most powerful armor and weapon of all, “THE WORD OF GOD” (Ephesians 6:17). 2

In the fourth chapter of Luke, you see that JESUS could not be forced to sin. HE resisted the devil with HIS weapon, GOD’S WORD (John 1:1, 14). In Luke, chapter 4, JESUS shows us that Satan, the devil, cannot force people to sin, but is only a tempter! Let us read, so JESUS can show us! “And Jesus being full of the HOLY SPIRIT returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days HE did eat nothing: and when they were ended, HE afterward hungered. And the devil said unto HIM, If THOU be the SON of GOD, command this stone that it be made bread. And JESUS answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every WORD of GOD” (Luke 4:1-4). GOD the FATHER told HIM to fast. This is why HE rejected the devil’s temptation, telling him the WORD of GOD, EVERY MORSEL of it, is the better food to live by.

“And the devil, taking HIM up into an high mountain, shewed unto HIM all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto HIM, All this power will I give THEE, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it” (Luke 4:5-6). Here we see that the devil wanted to start the United Nations. He offered JESUS the position of head of the one world government and one world religion (he offered JESUS the position of Pope). The devil even bragged that he had the power to give it to anyone who would worship him and sell their soul, such as the one world government agents and the pope. “If THOU therefore wilt worship me, all shall be THINE. And JESUS answered and said unto him, Get thee behind ME, Satan: for it is written, THOU shalt worship the LORD thy GOD, and HIM only shalt thou serve” (Luke 4:7-8).

JESUS rejected the position of head of the U.N., the one world government, and pope of its church cult! This demonstrates to us that some people today have accepted the devil’s offer. How do we know this truth? That is easy. The one world government and church cult exists today, and it is worshipping and serving the devil. This cult has declared war on GOD and HIS people. They blaspheme GOD, HIS people, and those in Heaven. They have outlawed GOD’S WORD, which is the HOLY SPIRIT. “And they worshipped the dragon [the devil] which gave power unto the beast [the one world government]: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things [the media; have you noticed how the media keeps exalting the pope and the homosexual, child molesting church?] and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against GOD, to blaspheme HIS name, and HIS tabernacle [we who HE lives in], and them that dwell in Heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the SAINTS, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the LAMB slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:4-8).

“And he [the devil] brought HIM [JESUS] to Jerusalem, and set HIM on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto HIM, If THOU be the SON of GOD, cast THYSELF down from hence” (Luke 4:9). Here the devil doesn’t throw JESUS off the pinnacle of the temple, or force HIM in any way. However, he tempted HIM, and that is exactly what he does to us. Our condemnation and the devil’s victory is IF we do what he is tempting us to do. We would not go to Hell if the devil forced us to sin. His victory is only if we do that with which he tempts us to do.

The devil didn’t force Adam and Eve! He tempted Eve, and she did what he told her to do. When she became the devil’s first evangelist, she tempted her husband Adam (Genesis 3:1-6).

“For it is written, HE shall give HIS angels charge over THEE, to keep THEE: And in their hands they shall bear THEE up, lest at any time THOU dash THY foot against a stone. And JESUS answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the LORD thy GOD. And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from HIM for a season. And JESUS returned in the power of the SPIRIT into Galilee: and there went out a fame of HIM through all the region round about” (Luke 4:10-14).

JESUS is only able to use people who reject the devil, as HE did. We are HIS BODY (1 Corinthians 12:7). HE lives in us (John 14:23). In our bodies (HIS BODY), HE will not do what Satan tells HIM to do. It was easy for HIM, and it will be easy for you if you keep your mind on JESUS, the WORD of GOD,3 and the COMMUNION, which is GOD and also the HOLY SPIRIT (John 1:1, 14, 6:63, Ephesians 6:17, Revelation 19:13). Overcome evil with GOOD. The COMMUNION is to remind us that we are HIS BODY. We are all different members of HIS BODY, keeping each other alive SPIRITUALLY, working together, being broken in pieces from sin together. “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good” (Romans 12:21), which is GOD in JESUS. “There is none good but one, that is, GOD” (Mark 10:18b), and when HE lives and dwells in us, HE will enter into us and will give us HIS power to resist temptation. We must remember who we are, HIS BODY, and get away from the internet, the TV, the porn, the world’s influence, ALL sin, and the Evil One. “Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto GOD, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto GOD. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under power” in the BODY of CHRIST (Romans 6:13-14). Start out being in the BODY of CHRIST now by saying this prayer:

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11

Now that you are saved, serve GOD with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30).12 Be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.13 Diligently study the King James Version Bible and do what it says till the day you die.14

If you want the world saved, as JESUS commands, then don’t rob GOD of HIS tithes and offerings. GOD said, “Will [you] rob GOD? Yet ye have robbed ME. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed THEE? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
