HOW TO SPIRITUALLY STAY ALIVE PERMANENTLY

Because of the incredible beating our mind receives by our living in a world run by Satan, we must always remember that this world is not our home.1 We are pilgrims, just passing through.2 Jesus says, “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles” (Matt. 10:16-18). For me, these things have been going on for over forty-four years since 1964. I’m writing this from jail, in solitary confinement.
David (King David) had this to say in Psalms 71:7: “I am as a wonder unto many; but Thou art my strong refuge.”
Many people don’t understand how people such as myself have made their way through the wolves, through all the persecutions, trials, temptations, jails, false accusations, prisons, robberies, and other cruelties. The secret of it is in the Word of God, and most preachers have never preached it. However, it’s the only way to stay steady in the Lord.
In Romans 12:1-2, the Apostle Paul, by the Holy Spirit, tells us, “I beseech you [Christians] therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies [God’s temples, houses] a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” You may ask how you can do this. Here it is! “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND.”
How do you renew your mind? You repair it daily, as you would repair anything that breaks down in your house, or car, or anything else!
Ephesians 4:23-24 says the same thing: “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man [your daily spirit with Christ’s Spirit, the Word! by the repair of your spirit, mingled with the Spirit of God in you, which is the new God man in you. It needs renewing or repairing all day long daily].” The spirit of mind is the spirit of remind daily, or you, the house of God, will fall through itself. God’s will is the Bible. It is God’s moral decision.
Renewal means to renovate, to restore to the former condition, to make in good condition as it was when you were filled with zeal.
Every day, by being in the world and around wolves,3 our spirit decays or becomes depraved. Therefore we, on a daily basis, throughout every day need to rebuild, repair, reestablish, and confirm our spirit, our new man to sit with Christ in Heavenly places!4 We must make it new again and again and again. We must daily renew our covenant, our promise with the Lord.
We must daily renew our expressions of fellowship with the Lord,5 renew our promise to Him, to revive the perfect position with the Lord. We must daily begin again, renew our spiritual strength to make it fresh and vigorous. This is easy when we “sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:6).
We must change daily from the natural to the supernatural, keeping the love of the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus alive!
To disregard God’s instruction is to go quickly down into the pit.
Renew your mind today and every day. If you are not saved then say this prayer to the Lord now, and you will be!
Prayer
My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11
You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.
Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.
Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
