Because of the constant temptations and seductions of our souls, as well as the daily spiritual war; because God has saved us to occupy this earth, and by the preaching of the gospel, bring about the kingdom of Heaven on earth, we are at war with Satan.1 We who are Christians must always remember that this world is not presently our home! We are at this point in time only pilgrims passing through the world.2 Jesus says, “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues [churches]; And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles” (Matt. 10:16-18). I’m writing this message from jail, while in solitary confinement. I’m being held on false charges to the glory of God by the subversive Romish government that doesn’t keep the law of God or the law of the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. They hate the law of God and the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
David had this to say in Psalms 71:7: “I am as a wonder unto many; but Thou art my strong refuge.”
Many people don’t understand how people, such as myself, being a lamb, have made their way through the wolves, through all the persecutions, trials, tribulations, temptations, jails, prisons, false accusations, robberies (the Roman government stole all our assets), and inflicted other cruelties imposed by Rome’s one-world government, who lie by saying they are U.S. government, and former (now fallen away) Christians help them because they are Antichrists now, the spirit of the devil has them.3 The secret of it is in the Word of God, and most preachers have never preached it because they are too fearful to warn the world as God commands. “And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the Word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at My mouth, and give them warning from Me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul” (Ezek. 3:16-21). However, it’s the only way to stay steady in the Lord. For me, my late wife Sue, and my church, these things have been going on since 1964, for almost forty-five years.
In Romans 12:1-2, the Apostle Paul, by the Holy Spirit, tells us, “I beseech you [Christians] therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies [God’s temples, mansions4] a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” You may ask how you can do this. Here it is! “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND.”
How do you renew your mind? You concentrate on the Word of God throughout every day. Meditate day and night on God!5 Put everything that distracts you far away from you,6 for this is the only way. We must, in the Holy Spirit, sit with Jesus the Christ, the Creator, in Heavenly places (Eph. 2:6)!
Ephesians 4:23-24 says the same thing: “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man [the old man continually concentrates on the lusts of the world; the new man does the opposite. Mingle your spirit constantly, daily, with Christ the Holy Spirit, the Word! Your spirit mingled with the Holy Spirit of God in you, is the God in you].” If you really want to stay alive forever, then you have to follow the instruction perfectly! Jesus taught Satan as He teaches us. He told him and teaches us that “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matt. 4:4). Then Satan tried to distract the Lord by showing and offering Him all the cares and things of the world which everyone loves so much, “if [You] wilt fall down and worship me” (Matt. 4:9). Jesus knew that if He wanted to give life to us, all He would have to do is show us how to get it and keep it. Here it is. He told Satan, “Get thee hence, Satan [and everything in the world]: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve” (Matt. 4:10). This is when the devil will leave you as he left the Lord! God’s will for us is not to walk “in the counsel of the ungodly [Satan’s one-world government] nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law [which Christ came not to destroy or do away with] of the Lord; and in His law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper” (Psa. 1:1-3). The commandment is to pray without ceasing if you want to live without ceasing.7
Renewal of the mind simply means to follow the above mentioned instructions or to become fully grown up in Christ “mature.”
In Genesis 3:22, the Lord said if we humans were to eat from the tree of Life we would live forever. If God would not have shut Eden down, sinners would live forever. Jesus is the tree of Life. Eternal life is only in Him, if we are always in Him and He is in us; then we are His body, the fullness of God.8 “And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all” (Eph. 1:22-23). Jesus said that because we are lights, like candlesticks. We are to let the whole world see our light, which is the Word of God. If we won’t do it, and with zeal do it, He will remove our light, He will darken our soul, and He will remove our candlestick (Rev. 2:5). He will do this because after He has rebuked us, we did not repent.9 We must daily renew our covenant, our promise with the Lord, or spend eternity in the Lake of Fire with those who have damned their own souls. In Revelation 2:4-5, Jesus says, “because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore [thou] from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy [light] candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” And “if [you’re] lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My mouth” (Rev. 3:16).
The fatal mistake people make is to believe that the law, the Old Testament, no longer applies. How ridiculous! Jesus and the book of Deuteronomy both say, “man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the God” (Deut. 8:3, Matt. 4:4). We must daily live by the Word (every Word) of God.10 To live is to keep God’s commandments,11 and it is for our own good and for the good of others. This is easy when we “sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:6).
If we are the body of Christ, He lives and walks in us, and we love it. We know that we are His; we know we have life because we keep His commandments (I John 3:24). The love of the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus is alive in us! The false preachers and prophets will tell you once you are saved, you are always saved even if you continue sinning, but Jesus disagrees, and says He will remove your light. This is the same as Him removing your name from the Lamb’s book of Life. Revelation 20:14-15 says, “And death and Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.” If you’re a Christian and the Lord takes your light, your candlestick, away, He has the same as spit you out of His mouth, His body. “So then because thou [Christian] art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My mouth” (Rev. 3:16).
To disregard God’s instruction is to go quickly down into the pit.12 “If ye will not hearken unto Me, and will not do all these commandments; And if ye shall despise My statutes, or if your soul abhor My judgments, so that ye will not do all My commandments, but that ye break My covenant: I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it” (Lev. 26:14-16).
Set your mind to put on the mind of Christ now, and keep it every minute of every day.13 If you are not saved, then say this prayer to the Lord now, and really mean it, and you will be!
My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11
You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.
Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.
Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
