Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and personal Savior, Jesus Christ. How is your family and everything in general? I hope fine. I’m L.I., writing from Nigeria, in West Africa. I quite appreciate the fact that this letter is going to reach you as a surprise because this is my first time of writing you a letter, but again, you shouldn’t be all that surprised because having preached through tracts and other mass media, you should be expecting public reactions on how they feel about what you preach and teach. Actually, I decided to communicate to you to inform you how I feel about your preaching through literature and also to make a little but important request. I was given one of your tracts entitled, Dry Bones and a volume of your World Newsletter by a friend some time last year. I did not care to read them until recently, when during my relaxation period I decided to go through it. After reading Dry Bones, I felt different because I knew I needed to change my ways. I’m a very busy businessman who has made some giant strides in business, but with what I understood in that tract, I knew I needed to make a change, and I can assure you that right now, from the day I read the little tract and world newsletter, I have mended my ways. This is the reason why I’m writing you now, to inform you that I have been born-again through the little but mighty tract I have read. I must use this opportunity to commend your frantic effort of ensuring the world changes from evil to godly ways. But I have a problem, which I want you to help me with, i.e. I want you to send me some tracts that deal with the baptism in the Holy Spirit. In fact, this is one way that really touched me when I was reading Dry Bones. Ever since I received the booklets, The Messiah, God has blessed many people around the world. In the first place, I would like to say thank you very much for sending me the materials, one Messiah According to Bible Prophecy book, two King James Version Bibles, and some other assorted World Newsletters. I did greatly rejoice when I received the said materials. Pastor Alamo, your materials are very inspiring, provoking, and educative. Again, send me more World Newsletters for distribution, ten Messiah books and fifty Bibles for distribution to those who don’t have them. Put me also on your monthly mailing list. I would like also to make my comments concerning the Alamo Christian Ministries. My comments are that I personally have heard many preachers preaching the Word of God, and have read a lot of Christian books, magazines and booklets written by different ministers of the Word of God, but I have seen there is a big difference with your preaching and written materials that you sent me, Pastor Alamo. Therefore, I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are an Apostle/Prophet of God raised in this wicked and perverse generation even though you don’t claim to be one, but I for one believe that you are the true Apostle/Prophet of God, not these false apostles and prophets that are mushrooming today, preachers without the fruit of the Holy Spirit. They don’t live what they preach. You are the “man of God,” a God-fearing man, a man of his word. You live what you preach. The world needs leaders and preachers like you, Pastor. God should bless you and protect your life until the truth is fully proclaimed. Pastor Alamo, sure you had an encounter with God in that office. No wonder you don’t preach social and compromising messages. You call a spade by its name. A man who is not after worldly wealth and to make a name, but to lift the name of Jesus Christ higher and higher. My feelings and convictions, man of God, is that since the Alamo Christian Church provides room for those who truly want to serve God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, I am saying that I am ready to serve God with my everything. I am 36 years old, married, with four children, an ordained minister of the Word of God, called in Apostolic Ministry. I would like you to be my spiritual father and mentor. Currently, I am in ministry, but I am unable to work effectively. One of the problems is that the economy of our country is bad. In fact, my country, Zambia, has been considered to be the second-poorest country in the Southern Region (SADC Region). The problem is because of not having God-fearing leaders. Therefore, I would say that, Pastor Alamo, if there is any way you can help me and my ministry, please do so, as God’s Spirit leads. Dear Pastor Alamo,

My heart was filled with joy when I took my pen on paper to write you this letter. I hope everything is going on well with you and your ministry, since the Almighty God is still on His powerful throne. Pastor, thanks a lot for the good work you have been doing worldwide. I say God bless you and your ministry. Sir, as I said the last time I wrote you that I was once a Muslim, but now am a Christian. Pastor, my mother was seriously sick and was admitted at the hospital. She was dying and there was nothing the doctors could do. Many Muslims came there and did all that they could do to heal her, but they weren’t able. Later, I sent in some of our church members, including myself, to pray for her, but we were not allowed. But I went to her without my father’s idea and prayed for her. After praying, I gave her The Messiah to read. After two days, she was fit as a fiddle and came back home. I encouraged her to keep reading the book. I invited her to church and she got saved. She attended church with me, then she went to my father and shared the Word of God with him and then prayed for him. He then declared that we are all Christians and got baptized, praise the Almighty God! Still, the Muslims are trying to bring us back, but we give them no chance, and we are still praying to God to help us. Pastor, I’m pleading to you that you send us seven Bibles for my family and one neighbor, which will make us grow spiritually in Christ. I would like to end here and take this opportunity to say a big “thank you” to you and your ministry. God richly bless you.

When I first saw your newsletter (in a Christian bookstore), I thought, “At last, a Filipino newsletter!” (because the meaning of ALAMO in Filipino is “YOU KNOW,” to my surprise, it’s your surname!) Along the way I read it while going home in a bus. About “The Sin of Unbelief,” I’m amazed at the straightness of your message and teaching. Unknowingly, I was reading it several times even when I’m home already. It’s like a fire inside, start to ablaze, my spirit is shouting “At last the doctrine of nobody’s perfect and don’t look to man but look to God teaching has ended!” I write and read in my Bible your given chapter and verses about that topic. I’m sad that there are some Christians who follow that kind of reasoning. They don’t know that it’s possible in perfectness and holy living because of the blood of Jesus empowered by the Holy Spirit, Hallelujah! (One reason why God’s Mighty Harvest Ministry exists). It’s almost two years that I’ve followed God in full-time ministry, and now I’m pioneering a church, a four-month old fellowship. I’m a former resident pastor of an independent church who left because of God’s conviction, to be sure, I consulted three different counselors. All of them had one answer and reaction that strengthened my conviction to follow it. As of now, I’m discipling leaders. I need your help and prayers. Greetings in the precious name of Jesus! I pray that you are in divine health upon handling this letter. I received the 32 part series of prayer in 18 tapes. I thank you for this. Through God’s help, I shared it with the group of intercessors in our town. We pray the prayer pattern prayed in the tapes. We received answered prayers. It resulted in unity of the Christian churches in our town, and this new life in Christ is already acknowledged by our President. The “Jesus Is Lord Fellowship” celebrated their 24th anniversary with President Gloria Arroya as one of the guests. Some of the leaders of our nation are coming to know and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. I also received the newsletters which you’ve sent me, but I’m sad to tell you that I was unable to respond to you immediately because God knows I don’t have the money for postage, but I thank God He blessed me with this opportunity to respond to you. The literatures are almost all distributed. It’s very helpful and anointed by God. Some of those who received the literature were spiritually revived. I also made summarized messages from your newsletters in our own dialect translation, and shared it in my radio ministry. You know, Pastor Tony, how I wish I was there, so I could avail the help and support you extend to those who are attending the church services, just like the provision of a place to live with all the things necessary for life, to all those who truly want to serve the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. In my part, I have a house to live in, but my every need just like food or the things necessary for life, I could hardly have them. You know, because of my physical disability, I can’t get a job and earn a living, so there are days when my wallet, my pocket, run out of money. I can’t have my needs. Blessings and greetings in the name of YAHWEH, God our Father. My name is Brian Hill, and I am an innocent political prison inmate. I found a copy of your Jan.-Mar., 2003, newsletter and I was shocked at the honesty and truth. You touched on things most pastors are afraid to tackle. I am writing to request your book, “The Messiah” and to be put on your newsletter mailing list. I am very sorry I cannot mail you a nice tithe, but my assets are frozen pending my civil case. I am a former missionary to China and pastor myself, and I am here framed by some of the Chinese I met who come here. My case involves abortion, and my pro-life prayer vigils, and being used by so-called Chinese Christians, who were in fact, everything but Christian. I found out how the government is smuggling in arms and other products and I know that is the real reason I’m here. I’m lucky I have Christ. It is tough in here. The chapel is full of Wiccan cultists and Muslims. If it wasn’t for volunteers, you couldn’t even get a Bible here. I used to be Catholic, but left the church and I was an assistant pastor for a Chinese Presbyterian Church. I know after reading your excellent newsletter yours is the true church. I have a long sentence, but I’m praying for a miracle. I know God led me to your paper. I know after reading your literature you were telling the truth about these cults and government liars, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. In 1992, I had a chance to meet many people who knew Randy and Vicky Weaver (Vicky was murdered by the federal government at Ruby Ridge), and they warned me and I ignored it. Later the government tried to murder many of these Christians or true believers. I also met some Seventh Day Adventist believers who were later murdered in Waco, Texas. But I really woke up when I was arrested in 1999, charged with dozens of charges (all false), and eventually convicted of three and given the maximum mandatory sentence. I was not allowed counsel, as they tied up my assets and forced a government lawyer on me and he pled “no contest” and I was called incompetent. It has been a nightmare. I am a Vietnam veteran, where I received a purple heart for being wounded, and now the government has thrown me away. I know you can help bring me the truth. Let me know what’s going on and how I should pray to make things better. They claim I violated rights by shutting down an abortion clinic, but what about the babies? I loved your “Another Pearl Harbor” story, it is so honest. I have never heard a pastor (or prophet) preach so much truth as you do in this newsletter. Please send me the April-May, June-July, Aug.-Sep. newsletters if you can, and sign me up for future issues. I received the maximum sentence of twenty years, and I ask for prayer. I was called a domestic terrorist for shutting down a death clinic, and when I told the authorities about weapons being imported by China into America, they turned it around and accused me of tax fraud and other ridiculous lies. You understand the truth. Please know I will pass on all literature you send me. I fought my case for several years (I still have a case on appeal), and my personal Bible, “The Open Bible, New King James Version” was lost by the county jail before I got to the Oregon State Penitentiary. Do you know anyone who could help me get one? It’s published by Thomas Nelson Publishers. I had a bonded leather “The Open Bible” in NKJV, and I need it. Maybe you can help me. I also want to officially join your church and promise to help you when I’m released. Volunteer for a year or more for your help in helping me endure. I am so surprised how holy and true your newsletter is. I notice on the back of the newsletter that you hold services in Alma, Arkansas, Elizabeth, New Jersey, and Canyon Country, California. Do you hold satellite T.V. services? You also mention you offer a place to live to true servants of the Lord. I don’t know if I’ll have a place to go, but if I don’t, I’d like to come serve in your church. I want to help in whatever way I can. Thank you so much for your literature. While doing my Bible studies, I learned not to take verses out of context. Read before and after the verse in question. This is to get the full and true meaning. Your book, I feel, is well put together and answers many of my questions. I only wonder why this has not been done before you? I don’t know what other things your ministry helps with. I have been having real troubles in finding a true and correct translation that I can trust. I am looking for a literal and true translation from the Greek, Hebrew, and Aramic. So far, no one I have wrote has been able to help me. Please help if you can, thank you. May God’s grace be upon you, and may His love abound in everything you do. Everything you have sent and will send is shared with others here. After someone reads any of your materials, they return them to me so I can let someone else read them. Dear Pastor Alamo,

Never has anyone’s interpretation been so parallel to what the Spirit of Truth teaches me; as your interpretation is. Why do people not understand that Romans 13 is speaking of authority that is ordained to the Body of Christ? There is so many Bible translations that have decided to give that authority to carnal man, that is ruled by Satan himself. Just as Satan attacked God’s Word in the Garden of Eden, the devil’s campaign is at large today. I thank you for telling the truth that God gave us with His Word. I pray that people on this earth are released from Satan’s lies. I John 2:15 says, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” 16: “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” Just as the prince of Tyrus in Ezekiel 28, the United States has become. As Jesus taught the disciples to pray in Matt. 6, His words ring in my ears. “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.” With God’s grace and Jesus’ sacrifice, I have been delivered. I need to get some newsletters to mail to family and friends in North Carolina, especially, “Another Pearl Harbor” and “Evil One Word Government Agents Are Claiming to be U.S. Agents.”

Dear Pastor,

I am very grateful and happy to write this letter to you. May God bless you for the good work that you are doing to help people in the globe to discover the wonders and works of our Lord Jesus Christ. In fact, I am a very young Christian who has accepted Christ as my personal Savior, and believe that it was my sins that he was killed or crucified. If this sinless man has gone through all this predicament, plight, afflictions, etc., just to save my life from Satan, then I have got a great task to worship Him and exalt His name to the highest point. I am a student in one of the teachers training colleges in Ghana, whom I soon become a trained teacher. Reading is my best hobby, so I try to read everything that comes my way, especially gospel tracts, since that will enhance and improve my knowledge about Christianity, but it got to the point that I stopped reading tracts incensed that the false prophets who have been sneaking into the fields that they deserve not to be in order to make money for themselves.. Why am I saying this? Because they interpret the scriptures differently, so when you keep on reading their tracts, it will definitely change you from good to bad. Surprisingly, I had your literature from a friend of mine, and I was feeling reluctant to read, due to the above-mentioned explanation, so one day something touched my heart to read it, and I tried to read. It is then I got to know that not all the tracts are from the false prophets, but some comes from the great powerful men of God like you. could you believe that a person who feels reluctant to read literature is now longing to get many of your tracts to read? I really know that God’s anointing is upon you. May He bless you to discover what you have not discovered yet, so that we the learners, may also know more about the living God.
