Always Pray

by
Tony Alamo

I John 3:9 states, "Whosoever is born" (again) "of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him:" (He will remain sanctified, bathing daily in the blood of Christ1 and washing himself daily in the cleansing Word of God.2) "and he cannot sin, because he is born" (the second time3) "of God," (born of God's Spirit4, which means born by belief in the affirmations written in God's Holy Word, which is Spirit and Life for us5). A new life is introduced into the sinner who believes, causing the sinner to pass out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light, out of death into life, leading to righteousness and holiness, into the life, thus purifying it and cleansing it each and every day. Jesus said, "The Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life."6 "In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil."7

When we are without sin, without failure, our conscience cannot convict us of sin because sin is not there any more. A true Christian will diligently search the Scriptures to find more of God's commandments to keep, that he may be blessed with more power, more peace, more prosperity, and more assurance of life from God.8

The true Christian is one who will, as a habit of life, first contact God in prayer on all things, and exercise meticulous care in keeping all of God's commandments.9 It is this person who God abides in, and who abides in God.10 This person knows by experience that God abides in him, because the Holy Spirit living inside him is his source of life witness, which is God, our Life and Comforter.11 The Holy Spirit genders in us the assurance that He, the Father, and His Son abide in us12 (who have been born the second time of the Spirit), who then will continue keeping all of God's commandments.13

Jesus gave His disciples an illustration of this. His objective was to teach them, as well as us today, the most important message; that it is a necessity to pray at all times and to not lose courage if they, as well as all humanity who choose Christ, want to remain in the status of the second born of the Spirit and receive all of God's boundless, abundant blessings.

To illustrate this, Jesus began His parable thus: "A certain judge there was in a certain city. God he did not fear, and man he did not respect. Now, there was a widow in that city, and she kept on coming to him at recurring intervals, saying, Protect me by an equitable administration of justice from my opponent in a lawsuit. And he kept on being unwilling to do so for a considerable time. However, afterward he said in himself, Although God I do not fear or man respect, at least because this widow is continually bringing me trouble" (pestering me) "I will see that justice is done her in order that lest by her continual pleading finally she maybe driving me mad. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge is saying. And God, shall He not most assuredly accomplish the vindication of His chosen-out ones who are crying aloud to Him day and night, exacting justice in their behalf, even though He is long-suffering in their case [that of the enemies of His chosen-out ones]. I am saying to you, He will exact justice in their behalf speedily. Yet, the Son of Man having come, Will He find the aforementioned kind of faith on the earth [a faith which keeps on pleading in prayer such as that exemplified by the persistence of the widow with regard to the judge]?"14 When Christ comes, will He find any on earth who do not doubt Him, who will be constantly praying in faith for the perfect will of our heavenly Father, for His divine guidance, which saves us from all disaster and miseries? When Christ returns, will He find any who zealously keep all His commandments, who serve Him with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength as the first and most important commandment proclaims we must?15 We are to cast all of our cares upon Him continuously in prayer, for He careth for us.16

When we pray, we are commanded to never doubt or worry. We are not to dwell primarily on our sicknesses, our diseases, our infirmities, our perils, our trials and tribulations, or any of our other needs. Instead, we are to put on the mind of Christ,17 which means we must be calm and sure of God, completely trusting Him. We must concentrate on His all-powerful and most wonderful deliverances recorded in His divine Word, trusting He will give us "exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."18 This is THE DIVINE LAW, GOD'S DIVINE LAW, and it works every time, all the time if we keep holiness and righteousness the law of habit.

God is all-powerful. God does not permit the soul who doubts to have anything. The Apostle James, by the Holy Spirit, stated "If any of you lack wisdom," (the fear of God19) "let him ask of God" (by praying always to God), "that giveth to all men liberally," (the fear of God, wisdom) "and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask" (pray) "in faith, nothing wavering" (not at all doubting). "For he that wavereth" (doubts) "is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man" (a doubter of God's Word) "is unstable in all his ways."20 If you want God's answer, get in your chamber of continuous prayer and forever call on Him in unwavering faith.

The Apostle James also stated, "Ye lust," (ye want) "and have not: ye kill," (hate your brother without a cause and don't love your neighbor as the second most important commandment says we must.21 You do not love your enemies as Jesus commanded we must, overcoming evil by doing that which is good, which God tells us.)22 "and desire to have, and cannot obtain:" (because you are out of God's will) "ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not"23 (you pray not always in faith that God will hear you and answer you).24

We must not permit ourselves to get off God's freeway of righteousness, sanctification, to doubt, to not believe God. We must believe the command of Jesus. We must, with faith, "PRAY ALWAYS,"25 that we may stay in His unlimited, victorious power of the second born and receive all the gifts in the treasury of God's faithful and true promises. We are saved, healed, and delivered by our faith in God's all-powerful abilities. His all-powerful, unlimited abilities are affirmed in others like ourselves throughout His holy Word. He will do the same for us as He did for them if we do all that He says, which means if we will maintain the restoration of His divine image in us through the Holy Spirit and sanctification to "PRAY ALWAYS," and trust Him always as they did. This will be confirmed constantly in our daily lives, as it was in theirs.

We are commanded to completely cast away and forsake all of our anxieties, doubts, and worries, as well as to eradicate all thoughts of limitation, poverty or lack. There is no limitation to what God can do. With God, there are no bounds. If we do our part, we can rely on God positively doing His part. His mysterious forces will come to your aid behind the scenes, and all that you have prayed for will soon materialize. In this you may be fully confident. Everything that you desire according to God's will can be obtained by keeping God's commandments, especially the main one, "PRAY ALWAYS," "doubting nothing."26

Things you may want but not need can lead you astray from God's purposes, causing you to miss God's ultimate good reward (Heaven). Make God's will your will and your sole objective, so that your reward will not be the eternal evil reward (Hell).

By reading (hearing) the affirmations recorded in God's holy Word, we receive an increase of our faith, which genders in us more of God's powerful Holy Spirit, divine peace, joy, and full abundance.27 The God of the Old Testament, in the person of Christ, will live in your human flesh through the Holy Spirit, just as He did in the flesh of incarnate Christ Himself two thousand years ago. In this we know Him, not only from the divine Word, but by experiencing His power living and abiding within us, which always occurs in everyone who is second born of the Holy Spirit and continues on a daily basis in His will. We receive the greatest peace, joy, courage, and calm possible when we trustingly realize that God's divine Word is true. The laws of God for acquiring salvation, healing, and deliverance positively work.28

When we pray, the former and present deeds that God has done and continuously does must be meditated and concentrated upon, constantly read, keeping the affirmations of His power and mercy before us as the pupil of our eyes.29 We are to harness or unite our will to God's will in constant prayer, that we may receive of His mercy, His unlimited power and benefits. We must, by righteousness and holiness in our newly restored life, elevate ourselves up to His standards by obeying all the commandments of Christ. "Take My yoke" (My harness) "upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly" (obedient to the Father) "in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke" (My harness of obedience to the Father) "is easy, and My burden is light."30

God's Word commands that we are not to be "unequally yoked" (harnessed) "together with unbelievers" (the disobedient to the Father).31 That's why, if we believe, we will yoke up with His will and none other. Again, "to do Thy will, O God."32 It is God's will to possess all power. If it were not God's will to possess all power, He would not possess all the power in Heaven and Earth. Jesus said, "All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in Earth."33 THIS POSITIVELY IS HIS WILL. This fact is easily affirmed in God's Word by the multitude of recorded, magnificent, all-powerful testimonies,34 His all-power, and the manifestation of His power with all of those living today who trust in Him.35

Jesus is everything. He said, "I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE:" (what could be more?) "NO MAN COMETH UNTO THE FATHER, BUT BY ME."36 This truthful and all-powerful statement eliminates all other ways into Heaven. Anyone trying to sneak or creep into Heaven by any other person, any other way, than through Christ, Jesus likens him unto "a thief and a robber."37 Life everlasting and all the hidden powers of God are found only in Christ Jesus.38 "For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power."39 "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."40

Christ is the Word of God.41 He stands on His Word by hearing and answering all the prayers of His second born, consistent, obedient ones.42 Jesus is the English form of the name "Jehoshua" which means in the Hebrew language, the language of God's Holy Bible, "Jehovah saves."43 And Christ is from the word "Christos," which means "The Anointed One."44 Jesus "is come"45 into this world.46 Jesus (Jehovah47) is the God of the Old Testament who saves us.48 He is "Immanuel,"49 "God with us;"50 the Father Who, in the person of His Son, became incarnate.51 Jesus appeared in human flesh without its sin,52 and died on the cross53 to satisfy the perfectly just demands of His perfect,54 never-ending Law,55 which all mankind has broken.56 He raised Himself from the dead57 in the body in which He died58 to become the One and only living Saviour59 of any sinner60 who will place his faith in Him61 in view of what He did for all humanity62 on the Cross at Calvary.63 Christ is the Holy Spirit,64the Comforter,65 who raised Himself up from the dead.66 All things, seen or unseen, were made by Him,67 and "by Him all things consist"68("are held together"69).

All riches and treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found in Him.70 These are made available by those who are obedient to His every Word71 and "PRAY ALWAYS." He gives all of His second born vast, desirable riches, far above the price of gold and rubies.72 These riches have never been seen, and never imagined; they are far beyond our capacity to dream.73 All these belong to those who are regenerated (renewed74 in Him) who reach Him through prayer, those who keep His commandments.75 He will unleash His gifts, benefits, and power to you through faith if you are His and show it by keeping His commandments, "PRAY ALWAYS." His Word says they are for you. God wants to help you, if you'll let Him, if you'll learn how to let Him.76 God said, "Call unto Me," and "I will hear"77 "I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."78 God wants to share His gifts, His power, and all eternity with you, so for your benefit let Him, so the world may see His divine power operating in the world through Him in you today.

God is seeking an army of believers, with no doubters allowed.79 You must first be born again of the Spirit (second born), then while praying be still, be quiet, "be swift to hear, slow to speak."80 You must listen to God and follow His every principle. Those who did this in Bible history received all good things from Him. If you follow Him, this same power will be received by you in the form of healing, deliverances, and salvation.

God will hear and answer all those who desire to prove the Word of God is absolutely, positively true, those who stand firmly on His every Word, those who meet His every test through both good and evil times. Healing, deliverance, and salvation are all given to us through God's proven method, faith. This is not faith in worldly power or in our own power, but faith in His Word and His unlimited power. God knows we have faith when we obey Him. He knows He rules those who obey Him.81 Holding a good thought, holding a false doctrine of any kind, and being idle doesn't do it.82 Your every effort must go towards doing the FATHER'S WILL.83

God's rewards with all His power, are the "pearl of great price,"84 the eternal treasure worth selling all that we have, and giving up all that we have, or think we have, or could have, in exchange for all that He REALLY has.85 Millions who have been greatly blessed before us have received God's Words into their minds, hearts, and souls, believing in faith that they have found THE "PEARL OF GREAT PRICE".86

Achieving success in God's everlasting kingdom depends on your obedience to His call, as well as your obedience to Him after you have accepted His high calling. This high calling is no hit or miss proposition. It is from God. It is positive. It is for sure. God says, "Prove Me now in this says the Lord of hosts, and I will open the windows of Heaven for you until you shall say it is enough."87

"PRAY ALWAYS."88 "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto YOU: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."89 "PRAY ALWAYS," it's for your life and all the other benefits from God. Receive Christ and all the treasures of His kingdom. Become born again, born the second time, regenerated, renewed. Start right now by saying this prayer to the Almighty God of Heaven and Earth:

Prayer

My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11

Now that you are saved and forgiven of your sins, raise your hands and praise the Lord. "Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth."90

Christ now lives in you through they'll Spirit.91 There is a way you can receive a fuller portion of the divine nature of God in you. God the Father lives now in you also. The more of the divine nature of God that lives in you, the more you will be able to stand against the temptations that so easily have moved so many millions of Christians away from salvation. This is caused by more man in us than God in us. Mankind has become so wicked that if Satan and his impish army were abolished, we would be our own devil.

Now that you are saved, pray for the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Prayerfully study the Word and "PRAY ALWAYS" for more of the divine nature.92 For instructions on how to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and to receive more of God's holy nature, ask for our literature or call. For without holiness no man shall see God.93

Now that you are saved it is a commandment to be fully submerged, baptized in water in the name of the Father and in the name of the Son and in the name of the Holy Spirit.94 Follow all of God's commands and live.95

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.

Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
