ARMORED

You can have joy everyday when you learn how to fight in the spiritual arena.1 This literature shows you how. If you receive and put into use the lessons herein, you will be able to have joy unspeakable and full of glory through the fiery trials, temptations, persecution, tribulation, sorrows, and all other calamities, including the walk you eventually shall walk through the valley of the shadow of death.2

In a dream vision, God showed Jacob the connection of the visible world with the invisible world that he might know the pathway to the power of his deliverance. The vision was a ladder extending from earth to Heaven. The angels of God were ascending from earth to Heaven and descending from Heaven to earth.3

Christ was at the top of the ladder encouraging Jacob, who because of his sins, thought all was lost.4 To rebuild Jacob's faith in God's mercy, Christ began restating the covenant He made with Jacob's grandfather, Abraham, his father, Isaac, and himself.5 With this, Christ let Jacob know that He, the Almighty, would be on earth in a human body.6 The angels descending from Heaven to earth and ascending from earth to Heaven were showing Jacob that Christ's desire would be to join the higher things with the lower, to join Heaven to earth.7

Before Christ came to the world, He told Jacob that his godly seed (his sons and daughters) would tell about the Man of God,8 the Son of man who would be God walking with us on earth.9 He said this would be affirmed over the centuries through visions given to young men.10 These would be some of the signs before and at the time of His coming.

Satan, who once dwelt in Heaven but was cast down11 with the other fallen angels, connected evil to earth12 through Eve's sin.13 The earth received heavenly glory with Christ's appearance on earth because that which was above was connected below through Him in us (His saints).14 He was letting Jacob know that through his seed, the godly connection, would bloom the root of kings,15 which would emerge and overthrow the power of evil.16 He said that He, Christ, would be the Saviour for every land, the rest, the Sabbath, for those who toil in His work, and that He would be a cloud, shading the whole world from the burning heat [the Comforter] to those who obey Him.17 If He would not eventually come to earth, salvation would never happen. If Christ did not make this Heaven to earth connection, the uncontrolled could never be controlled, the ungodly could never become godly.18 At His coming, people will be told to put away all the things they worship, all those things they sell their souls for, so they may serve Him.19 Angels will give wise men news of Him and let them know what will be on earth through the sign of a star (the angels).20 Those who wish to see Him will find a way to connect their souls to Him.

Christ, as God, would restore humanity's faith and revive Eve (every sinner), who died by the fruit of the tree.21 All this will occur when we connect to Him by our faith in His power to save and keep us, as well as His power to save and keep all other repentant sinners.22 We are all the descendants of Eve and are sinners needing to repent of our sins.23 The death of all humanity came through our connection with a tree.24 Eternal life came to the world through our connection with faith, with Christ's blood on our soul, blood which was shed when He hung on a tree.25

Christ continued showing Jacob when He would come. He told him the deceit of those who follow Satan would be exposed.26 Everything that the people of the world live and die for will fall down.27 They will be put to shame by Him. When He is wounded, then salvation and the end of all perdition will be ready.28 Those who have wounded Him will themselves receive a wound which will never heal. All creation will bow to Him who was wounded and many will trust in Him.29 He will become known everywhere in all lands.30 Those who acknowledge His name by keeping His commandments shall not be ashamed.31 His own dominion and years will be forever unending.32

Jacob, like many men and women, saved and unsaved, saw angels.33 The agency of evil angels and spirits are mentioned in many passages of the holy scriptures.34 Their presence can be felt and their work seen in the world. They are clearly manifested in our everyday lives. These fallen angels and evil spirits are the enemies of God and the enemies of all those who serve Him, as well as the enemies of those who are lost.35 Ever since man was created, heavenly angels and evil spirits have been interwoven in the lives of all human beings.36 They have existed since the beginning of time.37 This is the reason God tells us to spiritually armor ourselves with His superior Holy Spirit. "Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against SPIRITUAL wickedness in high places."38 Therefore, "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but MIGHTY THROUGH GOD to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."39

The quality of armor that God demands we wear is the "armor of God."40 Nothing else but God's armor has the power to keep our connection with God strong.41 If our connection with God were broken, our souls would be lost forever.42 The quantity of armor that God commands us to wear is, "the whole armor of God."43 The reason for putting on the whole armor of God is "that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."44

We're living in a carnal world led by the spirit of Satan.45 He hates the fact that Christ has come into the world to repossess it,46 and is living by His Spirit in His servants who are finishing His work.47 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."48 For this cause, "All that will live godly in Christ Jesus [rebuild His kingdom] shall suffer persecution."49

The devil relentlessly rallies his forces by launching his entire power into this war.50 He has met with little resistance because the Christians and the unsaved have such a limited connection with the Lord Jesus Christ and are therefore void of His Spirit.51 They are not as repulsed with sin as Christ was.52 They don't challenge it as Christ did with His zeal and His power.53 The Lord said, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."54 If we truly follow Him, the Lord will transfer His knowledge and power to us, enabling us to resist Satan.55 The Lord tells us, through James, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."56 Like Jesus, we are to give NO place to him.57 We are to resist him by throwing the whole power of God's armament which is given to us by Christ, into combatting Satan, keeping our armor on tight to resist and quench all of the devil's fiery darts.58 The devil is tracking everyone everywhere during every second of every minute.59 This is the war being waged with the spiritual world surrounding us.60

We are to be of good cheer like Jesus who said, "Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."61 Through Christ, the Christian has also overcome the world.62 The armor the Apostle Paul talks of is Christ.63 Our defense, our shield and buckler, and our defender against Satan is Christ.64 The scripture "Put on Christ"65 means to rely not on ourselves at all, but to rely fully on Christ.66 For this cause He commands, "Pray always."67 The Apostle Paul stated, "Pray without ceasing,"68 because Satan and his army are so busy with their world-wide resistance to Christ, His children, and destruction of every soul in the world that it takes continuous prayer to combat it.

The invisible spiritual world operates in and around us day and night.69 There is nothing done by any human without the spiritual influence of God or Satan.70 The words we speak and the deeds we do clearly reveal what spirit is using us.71

All the testimonies recorded in the Word of God are affirmations for us.72 By these affirmations we can see that God always delivers everyone who calls on His name for their deliverance, their healing, and their defense.73 It is the spiritual realm of the demonic world which causes blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, adultery, fornication, homosexuality, incest, abortion, false prophecy, hypocrisy, drunkenness, drive-by shootings, wars, terrorists, and terrorist groups.74 Each suicide, each insanity, each murder, and all the corruptions and perversions in the world75 are caused by the evil spirits in those who receive not the love of the truth.

No one has the power to fight the spiritual war without the Lord's Spirit, the armor of God.76 A drunkard putting on sobriety, or a rioting person putting on temperance, and a chambering and wanton person putting on chastity will not win the war over the spiritual world of Satan and his unclean spirits.77 Only when we put on the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the "whole armor of God,"78 and walk in the Holy Spirit are we able to defend the gospel of Christ, the lost, and ourselves in this spiritual war.79 Until we fully put Christ on, we are spiritually unclothed and unarmed.80

It is not our morality, our piety, our philosophical virtue, our talent, or our culture that repels Satan or his temptations, which Satan and his entire army send to us with all their might.81 It is the Spirit of God. "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts."82 Talent, piety, good morality, and good philosophical virtues can indeed give power to the character of Christianity and may have a powerful, soul-winning influence in the ministration of Christ's Word. But all these virtues must be consecrated to the Lord in God's Holy Spirit.83 Though these virtues are small compared to God's Spirit, they can easily be used as tools in the hand of the enemy to lead souls back into the world, destroying them. All these virtues without the Spirit of God won't ward off so much as a child's toy gun.84 The man in the armor of Christ is fully knowledgeable of Christ.85 He is in Christ, He in whom all power over the spiritual world and the carnal world dwells.86

Each power of Christ is a piece of armor.87 The girdle of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, above all the shield of faith, and all the rest are pieces of His power. The Bible tells us also to "put on the new man,"88 the spiritual man,89 which is all the different powers of Christ obtained from His Word.90 Those who are not saved are the unarmored ones, the unarmed ones.91 They are helpless against Satan and his evil angels.92 They are not able to perform the duties which Christ commands us to do for His defense, for our defense, and for the defense of others.93 When we listen to the evil one and his unclean spirits by doing what they say even on one issue, we sin.94 Because of the sin, we are immediately stripped of every bit of God's armor which defends us in the fight against sin and Satan.95

When Eve committed the first sin and Adam followed her, they were naked.96 This made every one of their children, their posterity, naked.97 They, as well as the rest of us, became weak and poor creatures at the will of Satan.98 We have become a subdued people disarmed by their arrogant conqueror and unable to make any headway against him.99 After people consent to Satan, he becomes their lord.100 The devil can't force anyone to sin without the consent of their will.101 This is why at judgment the soul is judged, because the will of man dwells in the soul of man.102 We were willing to commit adultery, fornication, rape, lie, steal, murder, be a terrorist, lust, and covet at Satan's command.103 It is our will consenting to Satan.104 Satan's power is only to tempt.105 The will of our souls accelerates his temptations into sin.106 After the soul consents to sin, every sin comes into the soul like a flood.107 "The soul that sinneth, it shall die."108

Instead of confessing our sins to God and repenting, we run and hide behind a tree.109 The will of the soul has the power to choose good or evil when the gospel is preached to it.110 It has the power to forget a life of sin and go with Christ; it also has the power to deny Christ and go with Satan.111 The Apostle Paul, who chose to do good and to go with Christ, stated "This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind [the world of sinfulness], and reaching forth unto those things which are before [eternal life in Heaven]."112

Satan and the other fallen angels descended to earth, revealing things hidden from the children of men.113 They seduced the children of men into committing more sin.114 They visited all of the sons of men including Lamech and his two sons, Jubal and Tubalcain with all their temptations. Jubal was instructed in the art of musical instruments and song to aid the sensual, sexual hallucinations of that sort of sin.115

Tubalcain received instructions from another of these fallen angels.116 This angel showed him and the children of men the blows of death.117 It also showed them the weapons of death: the shield, the coat of mail, the sword for battle, and all the other weapons of death.118 From this day forward they have proceeded against those who dwell on the earth.119 They continue still, into the atomic, and hydrogen bomb age in which we live.120 They showed the children of men all the wicked smitings from unclean spirits, including the murderous smitings of the embryo in the womb, called abortion these days, the smitings of the soul, the bites of the serpent [the devil], and the smitings which befall the sons of the serpent through the noontide heat of temptation.121 The fallen evil angels in chains of darkness are hidden in a place of punishment.122

On the godly side, the holy angels are currently in the service of God, helping all those who are the heirs of salvation (Heb. 1:14).123 Remember, Christ is our defender, our shield, our armor, and our weapon.124 He fights all our battles for us if we call on Him to fight for us and for others.125 Putting Christ on means trusting all that His Word says of His abilities to deliver, believing all the affirmations from His Word that He always delivers, believing He always defends those who call upon Him for defense of others and themselves.126

God, who is Christ, will hear and answer our fervent prayers.127 He will dispatch His mighty powers against the demons and evil angels who oppress all of mankind including ourselves.128 God will smite the evil ones, spirits, who cause all the violence, crime, abortions, murder, hatred, the filthy pollution of every kind, the epidemic of pre-teen and teenage suicide, and all the other satanic heartaches in today's world.129 After God binds Satan and the evil spirits, we can easily get to the lost souls with eternal life.130 It will be easy for them to receive eternal life once the tempter's power is broken by Christ.

People complain, "Why doesn't God stop all the terrible things that Satan and his evil spirits are doing to the people of the world?" It would be better for them to say, "Why don't we pray to God in the name of Jesus so that He will come as our defender and the defender of others and end all the wickedness we see, feel, and hate?"131

The enemy that we armor ourselves against is from a world that the carnal mind does not or cannot understand.132 A carnal world leader such as a king, queen, president, or any other unsaved person is incapable of fighting the devil, his angels, and his host of evil spirits.133 Paul stated, "The natural [the carnal] man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."134 "If any man among you seemeth to be [carnally] wise in this world, let him become a fool [to the carnal world], that he may be wise [to the spiritual world]."135 Seventy of the Lord's disciples came rejoicing and told Christ, "Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through Thy name."136 There's power in the name of Jesus.137

When we pray to Christ for defense, we are like little children asking their powerful dad or brother to go after the bullies that have been picking on us and all the other people in the world.138 We are asking for us and the others to be rescued and saved in a place of shelter far away from the bullies.139 When we petition the Lord with fastings, prayers, weeping, and supplication to stop the spiritual bullies,140 we are showing our Dad, Who is also the powerful God, that we have faith in the "power of His might,"141 not our own might. He is our power.142 He is our defense.143 He is our Dad and God.144

One of the most important pieces of the armor of God is the cloak of zeal.145 Christians are commanded to "be zealous"146 in doing God's work, or Christ will spew them out of His mouth.147 If you have all the rest of the armor without zeal, you're not fully armored. If the devil is beating up on you and you are not able to stand against his wiles, it may be that you have disobeyed God by not putting on His full armor.148 If this is the case, it shows you don't care about winning souls to the Lord. It would also mean that you don't care for your own soul. If this is true, you should pray to the Lord to give you a merciful heart to care for both yourself and others. Christ died for all of us.149 If you have a merciful heart and care for others, God will be merciful to you.150 Jesus said, "Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."151 Psalm 18:25 states, "With the merciful Thou [God] wilt show Thyself merciful; with an upright man Thou wilt show Thyself upright." The Apostle James stated, "For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath showed no mercy."152

If our souls sink with doubt away from the Lord, we fall into Hell.153 Christians who depart from Christ wait at the gates of Hell with sinners, their souls separated from the God of every spirit.154 But the Lord in His mercy will help us if we obediently, through our faith in His Word, repent of our sins.155 We must know that sinners will tempt men to evilly entreat wisdom.156 Because the world sins, God chastens it in His love in hopes that it may return to Him, its Creator and Saviour.157 This is a part of God's mercy for the world.158 If there was no chastisement, He would not be our Dad, our heavenly Father.159 "For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth."160

The Lord died for all sinners.161 This includes our enemies. If we wish to have peace and mercy with God, and win our enemies to Him, we will pray for those enemies, that the evil spirits which guide them to destroy people's minds, hearts, souls, and bodies, and hinder us from bringing the gospel to them and the world, will be bound and cast into a bleak, barren place where the end of Heaven and earth is, where the abyss and the eternal fire is.162 We will pray for the Lord to pour His Spirit into those who have had demons cast away and out of them as Christ cast all of the demons out of millions of others by His unlimited power,163 so they may become our brethren rather than remaining the enemies of God, themselves, and our enemies.164 He commands us, "Bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you."165

Having victory in spiritual warfare consists of having faith in the commandment to "Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you."166 This brings our deliverance and potentially theirs as well. God builds His hedge of special providence about His saints.167 How deplorable it is for a poor, lost soul left alone in the whole wide world, in the midst of legions of lusts and devils, to be rent and torn to pieces, like a small, wounded goat, by a pack of hungry, vicious wolves with no God to call them off.168 God will not forget the merciful heart, lest it die.169

Woe to you sinners who love your demon possessed state, for you persecute the righteous, the servants of God, those who are bringing the message of the Lord's salvation to the world.170 You have no armor of Christ: you shall be delivered up and persecuted because of your injustice.171 You've taken the bread of life away from those whom God died for.172 Your soul is as bread to Satan.173 It has no defense from the Almighty.174 This yoke shall weigh heavily on you.175

Be hopeful, you who are righteous, for sinners shall suddenly perish before you.176 You shall rule over them by calling on Christ according to your desires.177 Woe to you sinners who love your demon possessed state, for your riches make you appear righteous.178 Your hearts occasionally convict you of being sinners. This fact shall be a testimony against you, a memorial of your evil deeds.179 What fools the devil makes of you by leading you at his pleasure, some of you to one lust, some to another.180 The proudest, most enjoyable of your lusts only makes you a slave to them, ruining your own body and soul forever.181 There is no mystery to this kind of man.182 To receive Satan's kind of wisdom is to debase yourself to the worst kind of drudgery.183 This will give you a much more tedious, strenuous, and monotonous work in Hell. You will not break away from the devil's prison any more than a slave is able to run from his chain.184

Have faith, you demon possessed souls who love your condition.185 Woe is coming to you who oppress the righteous soul winners with your carnal might,186 for we cry unto God for you, as well as against you. The day of your destruction is coming if you repent not. What will you do, you unmerciful, unrepentant sinners? Where will you flee on that day of judgment when you hear the voice of the prayer of the righteous?187 Yes, you shall fare like those against whom this word testifies.188 You have been companions of unmerciful sinners. Have faith in these days that the prayers of the righteous will reach the Lord and the Lord will defend us. For you, the day of judgment is soon coming. In shame, in slaughter, and in great destruction your spirits shall be cast into the furnace of fire.189

God divorced Himself from the whorish house of first covenant Israel who broke the old covenant between them.190 Let Israel repent of its sins and become new covenant Israel with us. Let Israel be as the prodigal son, totally repentant of its sins and returning to God, never to sin again through the grace of God's power, which is Christ.191 Let them become merciful by preaching Him to every nation. The Lord shall bring woe to you who pervert the words of uprightness, transgress the eternal law, and transform yourselves into what you are not.192 You are wolves in sheep's clothing.193 You do not have the armor of God. You shall be trodden underfoot upon the earth.194 The time is at hand of the coming of the Lord,195 and Satan is full of wrath. "For the devil is come down unto you [on earth], having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time."196

This is the time of Jacob's trouble. Jeremiah states that in the time of Jacob's trouble those who are merciful, dressed in the whole armor of God, "shall be saved out of it."197 Daniel repeats this message by saying "There shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation...at that time thy people [God's people] shall be delivered."198 This deliverance is not meant that the body of Christ will ascend to Heaven out of the great tribulations. We will not. There are many scriptures verifying that we will be here, confronted with the mark of the beast and many other tests.199

If God closes the windows of Heaven and withdraws the Holy Spirit, which is the latter rain and the dew from Heaven that descends on earth for your account, what will you do?200 And if He sends His anger down upon you because of your deeds, you cannot petition Him, for you unmercifully spoke proud and insolent words against His righteousness.201 Therefore, all mercy and God's peace shall be taken from you if you refuse Him.202

Let us all, before it's everlastingly too late, choose by faith to stand in the glow of God's perfect light (God's knowledge) where no darkness is forever, and where God's perfect peace is forever.203 Has He not made the Heaven, the earth, and all that is therein?204 Has He not, in His Word, given understanding and wisdom to everything that moves on the earth and in the sea, including the knowledge of the spiritual world for those who seek it?205 Do not sailors of ships fear the sea?206 Yet foolish sinners fear not the Most High.207 They have no wisdom of God.208 They know not the terror of the Lord's judgment until the day He brings a grievous fire upon them.209 Where shall they flee?210 You unmerciful sinners, where will you find deliverance on the day He launches forth His Word against you?211 Will you not be greatly afraid?212 All the stars, the sun, and the moon of Heaven shall be greatly afraid.213 All the earth shall be afraid, shall tremble, and shall be alarmed.214 And all the angels who deceived the children of men shall seek to hide themselves from the presence of the great Glory.215 The children of earth shall tremble and quake.216 You unrepentant sinners shall be accursed forever and never have peace.217

It is written, "And how shall they [the sinner] believe in Him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent?...How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"218

Jesus said that when the good Word is sown into the world, "Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts."219 The seeds that the sowers [the ministers of God] are sowing symbolize the Word of God being preached into people's hearts. "And the fowls came and devoured them up."220 The fowls symbolize Satan and his evil spirits taking the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding (which are our spiritual strength from God, our spiritual armor) out of people's hearts with worldly distractions, allurements, and enchantments. God is seeking these people to collect into His kingdom.221

In a vision, all the birds came: the eagles, the vultures, the kites, and the ravens. The eagles, king of the scavengers, led all of the birds. They began to devour the sheep to whom God's servants sowed the Word, picking out their eyes (These represent the newly sown spiritual eye which was lost through Adam's sin. The spiritual eye cannot be restored by the carnal teaching of men or of the evil angels. The restoration of the spiritual eye is the major reason Christ came to the world).

The sheep cried out because their flesh (the Word of God) was being devoured by the birds, who symbolize Satan and his unclean spirits. Why was there no shepherd showing them how to defend themselves from these birds who constantly launched this vicious, spiritual attack on their very souls, their eternal lives? Why wasn't a godly shepherd there to tell them to call on God to dispatch His power to bind the devil and his demons, so the Word of God would remain in the hearts of the sheep? In this vision, those sheep were completely devoured by the eagles, the kites, and the other birds. There was neither flesh, nor skin, nor sinew remaining on them. Finally, only their bones stood there. Then their bones too fell to the earth and the sheep became few.

New lambs were born by the few. They began to open their eyes, to see, and to cry to the sheep. They cried to them, but demons prevented them from listening to what the sheep told them, which was the Word of God. The sheep told the lambs to pray to God without ceasing so He would send a hedge of angels, God's wall of fire, to surround and protect them. But the lambs were deaf to their words. They would not listen to the sheep whom God had placed over them. The ravens flew upon those lambs and took them.

As Christ transmitted His power unto His disciples when He, God, walked the earth with them, so also has He transmitted to us total power over sin, Satan, the unclean spirits, death, Hell, the grave, every disease, every sickness, and every infirmity.222 Through Him, the entire spiritual realm of birds, dogs, and swine are subject unto us as they were subject unto the seventy disciples in Luke 10:17. Christ has proven He has unlimited power over everything.223

Jesus said, "ALL POWER is given unto Me in Heaven and in earth."224 This is why He can, with great assurance, say to the world, "Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest [everyday Sabbath]. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of ME [Jesus is saying learn from Me how to win the world to Me. Learn from Me how you may have My rest and how you may gain dominion over Satan and every other evil spirit]."225

Enoch, Daniel, and John told of God's unlimited power. This includes hundreds of millions of angels which stand before Him, ready to do whatever He RIGHTEOUSLY bids them.226 They minister to the saints who petition God with their merciful prayers regarding the atrocities that are happening in the world, both to the unsaved and to themselves.227

In the book of Revelation the Apostle John stated, "And I beheld [I saw with my eyes], and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands."228 One must picture this heavenly scene as it is in order to understand it. It is a courtroom with hundreds of millions of angels standing before God, the great Judge, discussing the prayers rising from earth before His bench for the deliverance of His children. God will judge if the petitioner is worthy of deliverance by whether the petitioner is sorry, then He will clear him from every transgression of ignorance229 through sorrowful prayer and supplication. If they've sown mercy, God will grant them the mercy they are seeking regarding sins of ignorance, if they trust and have faith in God's mercy and their prayer is a sincere and fervent cry against the great enemy of God from the depths of their soul in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour forever.230 God weighs all the factors, then acts on the petition according to His good and merciful judgment.231 He always acts for our benefit.232 God and His entire host stand ready to respond instantly to His good and righteous verdict.233

The book of Jude tells us, "Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him."234

Let every lost soul desiring salvation cry out to the Lord. He will immediately hear and answer their prayer.235 God is bigger and more powerful than every problem in the world.236

When King David was a little boy he slew a lion, a bear, and a giant.237 Those of us who have on the whole armor of God slay many lions, bears, and giants daily. It is the Lord that slays them for us each time we ask Him. Become born again of the Spirit and you'll do the same by practicing this method of spiritual warfare every waking hour. You'll see how it pays to pray without ceasing. At night you'll go to sleep smiling, counting all the lions, bears, and giants Jesus slew for you that day, instead of sheep. You'll also have to pray to Jesus for the many little nuisances that irritate, aggravate, and spoil things for you each day, "the little foxes, that spoil the vines."238

If you would like to have the power of Christ in your life fighting every battle for you, the little ones as well as the enormous ones, call upon the name of the Lord, your Creator, and become born again of the Spirit by saying this prayer to Him:

Prayer

My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.

Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
