The people who believe the false doctrine of eternal security are cultists because that doctrine is not Biblical.1 It is unscriptural. It falsely teaches that GOD not only pardons our sins of the past (our former sins), but also present and future sins. This doctrine says that continuing to sin once we have been born again of the Spirit of GOD is acceptable, and this simply is not true.2 If it were true, the Apostle Paul, who wrote two thirds of the New Testament, would not have said the following in First Corinthians 9:27: “But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”
The phrase “cast off” means to throw, fling, or send away; to throw off. The word “castaway” means one who has been cast away. In Revelation 12:7-9, in Heaven, “...the dragon [the devil] fought and his [evil] angels [against Michael and his angels], And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in Heaven. And the great dragon was CAST OUT [OF HEAVEN], that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was CAST out [CAST AWAY] into the earth, and his [evil] angels were CAST OUT with him.”
Revelation 12:10 states, “…for the accuser of our brethren is CAST DOWN, which accused them [in Heaven] before our GOD day and night.” These condemned devils can’t operate any longer in Heaven, so they have set up shop here on earth bringing false accusations against those of us here on earth both day and night (Revelation 12:10).3 Soon the LORD will cast them all into Hell and the Lake of Fire. GOD promises HE will, and I believe it!4 Satan (at one time Lucifer) and his wicked angels were saved in the beginning, but now they are forever lost, condemned to the Lake of Fire!5
Revelation 22:6 states, “And HE [JESUS] said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the LORD GOD of the holy prophets sent HIS angel to show unto HIS servants the things which must shortly be done.” JESUS says, “Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book” (Revelation 22:7).
The book of Revelation was not intended to be understood until the things said in it were at hand. The time is now at hand! “And HE [JESUS] saith unto me [John], Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand [the hour is at hand where there will be no more offer of salvation from GOD]. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I [JESUS] come quickly; and MY reward is with ME, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last” (Revelation 22:10-13).
“Blessed are they that do HIS commandments [not merely know them], that they may have right to the tree of life [the tree of life is symbolic of JESUS6], and may enter in through the gates into the city [Heaven]. For without [outside of Heaven] are dogs [dogs are symbolic of the lost disbelievers).7], and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers [this includes those who commit abortion (first degree baby murder), the murders of the sick and elderly, and suicides], and idolators [anyone putting anyone or anything above CHRIST is an idolator and cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven8], and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie” (Revelation 22:14-15).
This truth is told by JESUS HIMSELF in the Gospel of Luke 14:26-27: “If any man come to ME, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be MY disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after ME, cannot be MY disciple.” Why? Because if you put anything above CHRIST, you are an idolator, and according to JESUS, you are in the same category as a dog, a whoremonger, and a liar—a castaway,9 because you put yourself and your pleasures such as TV, sports, music, movies, career, sex, cars, and many other things before CHRIST. If your church teaches this is okay, then your church is not of the LORD, but is full of false doctrine (heresy); those responsible shall be castaways!
Being a disciple of CHRIST is pricey. Before we decide to be one of CHRIST’S disciples, we must “COUNT THE COST.” As JESUS said, “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient [money] to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it [because of the lack of funds], all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be MY disciple. Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear” (Luke 14:28-35).
Castaways are also the devils, the unclean spirits, JESUS CAST OUT of pitiful human souls.10 JESUS was accused of casting them out by the devil, Satan, Beelzebub, the prince of the devils (Matt. 9:34, Mark 3:22, Luke 11:15). JESUS told them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth. If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub. And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges. But if I with the finger of GOD cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of GOD is come upon you. When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. He that is not with ME is against ME: and he that gathereth not with ME scattereth. When the unclean [evil] spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other [evil] spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first” (Luke 11:17-26).
So spiritually, “cast away” or “cast” and “casting” mean to discard (in this case, referring to evil spirits), to throw them away or cast them away. After Paul was saved, he meant he too could be cast away into Hell! In Mark 9:38, we see the Apostle John say to JESUS, “Master, we saw one casting out devils in THY name, and he followeth not us: and we forbade him, because he followeth not us.” JESUS replied, “Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle IN MY NAME, that can lightly speak evil of ME” (Mark 9:39).
Second Corinthians 10:5-7 states, “CASTING DOWN IMAGINATIONS [this includes false doctrines like ‘once saved, always saved’ and ‘GOD covers your sins—past, present, and future’], and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of GOD, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of CHRIST; And having in a readiness to revenge ALL disobedience, [but only] when your obedience is fulfilled. Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is CHRIST’S, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is CHRIST’S, even so are we CHRIST’S.”
Throw all your cares (worries) away on JESUS, “Casting [casting away] ALL YOUR CARE UPON HIM; for HE [JESUS] careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the GOD of ALL POWER, who hath called us unto HIS eternal glory by CHRIST JESUS, after that ye have suffered a while, make you PERFECT, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To HIM be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” (1 Peter 5:7-11).
False doctrine is a trick of the devil to make you believe you are right rather than believing the truth—that you are wrong. Repent and believe JESUS, the WORD of GOD, rather than the fakers. Get right with the LORD JESUS, who is the ALMIGHTY GOD11 by praying to HIM in this prayer, lest you become a castaway:
Prayer
My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11
After salvation, JESUS said to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.12 Then study the King James Version Bible, and, for your benefit and the benefit of others, do what it says.13
CHRIST and GOD the FATHER now live in you through the HOLY SPIRIT. There is a way you can receive a fuller portion of the divine nature of GOD in you. The more the divine nature of GOD lives in you, the more you will be able to stand against the temptations that have so easily moved so many millions of Christians away from salvation. In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
