Daniel’s Vision of Judgment Day

by Tony Alamo

The word “exhort” means to urge earnestly and to advise strongly. In Acts 2:38-40, Peter stated, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our GOD shall call. And with many other words did he testify and EXHORT, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.” (“Untoward” means improper, unseemly, not favorable, and adverse.)

First Thessalonians 4:1-3 states, “Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the LORD JESUS, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please GOD, so ye would abound more and more. For ye know what commandments we gave you by the LORD JESUS. For this is the will of GOD, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication.”

First Thessalonians 4:15-17 states, “For this we say unto you by the WORD of the LORD, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the LORD shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the LORD Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of GOD: and the dead in CHRIST shall rise first: Then we [of CHRIST’S Church] which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD.”

I have written literature which is called “The Tree.” It tells about how one night I was standing in front of the LORD’S church, which I pastor in Los Angeles just before the service. It was a calm, beautiful night, no breeze. The air was filled with the smell of night-blooming jasmine. The air was slightly cool, and as I was looking at this giant oak tree, which was around forty to fifty feet from the church, I prayed to GOD asking, “Father, make me as strong as that tree.” The LORD immediately answered me back saying, “You will have to be one hundred million times stronger than that tree.” In my soul, I laughed for a moment, and in my thoughts I said, “LORD, how could anyone be as strong as that mammoth tree, let alone one hundred million times stronger?”

It was so pleasant outside that I didn’t really want to go inside the church, but the church was packed, and it was time for the service. So I went inside, got up on the platform, turned on the microphone, and told the congregation of my prayer to GOD. I also told them what HIS answer to me was, with a smile on my face. At that very instant, we all heard a loud crash, and the church was shaken greatly. People rushed to the windows to look outside and see what had happened. I said over the microphone, “Wouldn’t that be funny if that was the tree that fell?” The people that were looking out the window turned to look at me and said, “IT IS THE TREE.”

When we went outside to look at it, its roots were up in the air. There was no breeze, no earthquake, no anything. The tree was dead, unbeknownst to me. I have never been able to figure out what all this meant for all these years until the other night when the LORD showed me that a live dog is better than a dead lion. Ecclesiastes 9:4 states, “For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.”

At that time, before the tree fell, that tree was sort of an idol to me because of how big and strong-looking it was. I suppose anyone who has an idol before GOD and laughs at what GOD is saying could be reckoned as being a live dog, but it is better than being a dead lion. This is because there is still hope and an opportunity to clear all the idols out of your life so you could repent and become one through CHRIST with GOD, thereby being one hundred million times stronger than that old, dead oak tree.

The LORD showed me a vision of a difficult mountain. I was very strong in the vision, and was walking rapidly up toward the top. The vision widened, and I saw Sue walking slowly quite a distance behind me because she had terminal cancer (she died from it on April 8, 1982). In the vision, I turned around, walked down to her, put my arm around her, and began helping her up the mountain. As soon as I did this, everything turned dark in the vision, and strong winds started blowing down the mountain, making it difficult to continue to the top. The storm became so fierce that I really couldn’t see us—there were wind gusts and black clouds. A couple of times, I got a glimpse of us, and I was down on one knee with my arm still around Sue. The mountain was so steep, almost straight up, and it was a very stormy mountain.

I told Sue about this vision before she died. All I saw was Sue and myself fighting the storm. There were no other Christians helping us. What a relief it would have been if I had seen other Christians coming behind us, helping us push up the mountain, but there were none!

The LORD showed me the other day, in September 2012, that we are supposed to be a body of Christians helping each other, “the Body of CHRIST,” “the Church,” “the New Jerusalem,” “the Bride of CHRIST.”1 First Corinthians 12:12-14 states, “For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is CHRIST. For by one SPIRIT are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one SPIRIT. For the body is not one member, but many.”

First Corinthians 12:23-24 states, “And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts [reproductive members] have more abundant comeliness. For our comely parts have no need: but GOD hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.” Verse 31 states, “But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet show I unto you a more excellent way.”

First Corinthians 13:1-6 states, “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity [love, which is keeping GOD’S commandments2 which teach us to help one another], I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity [don’t help the Body of Christ], it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.” Verse 11 states, “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”

It is childish to put a tree or anything else, no matter how big it is, before GOD, the HOLY SPIRIT, and before JESUS, the WORD (Matthew 22:37-39). I am a man now, and I exhort all Christians, men and women, to immediately grow up, to become men and women of the LORD, and to become members of the Body of CHRIST, the Church, the New Jerusalem, which is the Bride of CHRIST.3 JESUS never said HIS Church was a denomination. There is only one Church, and CHRIST bought it with HIS own life, HIS own blood.4 They are all the same Church worldwide, owned and operated by CHRIST, but in different countries and towns. The Church of Ephesus, the Church which is owned by CHRIST at Smyrna, and the Church owned by CHRIST at Pergamos are the same Church, only in different towns. The Church owned by CHRIST in Thyatira, and the Church owned by CHRIST in Sardis, and another Church owned by CHRIST, purchased with HIS blood, in Philadelphia are the same Church. The Church of the Laodiceans is also owned by CHRIST, it is just in a different town. Also, it is the LORD’S Church that I pastor in Los Angeles; Fouke, Arkansas; Fort Smith, Arkansas; New Jersey; Africa; India; and the Philippines. The list goes on and on. But they are all the properties of CHRIST, owned by HIM, and they are supposed to be operated by HIS one and only HOLY SPIRIT.

Many have fallen away from the LORD’S Body, HIS Church, as is mentioned in 2 Thessalonians, chapter two, which shows us that these are the very last of the last days. There will be a hundred and forty-four thousand Jews saved that will become members of the one Church of the LORD JESUS CHRIST (Revelation 7:1-8). These are they which follow the LAMB (CHRIST) whithersoever HE goes, whithersoever HE directs them to help all the members (Revelation 14:1-4). In other words, they will have charity. They will help one another, no matter how much the enemy has slandered the members of the Body of CHRIST. They will help one another up the mountain, no matter how fierce and dreadful the storm becomes, because they are members of one another (Romans 12:4-5).5 They will not fight one another. They will not betray one another. They will not be jealous of one another, but they will have charity (1 Corinthians 13:1-8, 13).

The Bible states that charity is love. Second John 6 states, “And this is love, that we walk after HIS commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.” First John 2:4 states, “He that saith, I know HIM, and keepeth not HIS commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” One of HIS commandments is that we help one another, and if you don’t keep that commandment, then you are a liar and the truth is not in you.6 And no liar shall have a place in the Kingdom of Heaven, but shall have his place in the Lake of Fire.

Revelation 21:8 states, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

When you are helping, ministering to Christians, what you are doing is actually ministering to the Body, which you are a part of, the real Body of CHRIST, one of the members of the Body of CHRIST.7 The old prophet Daniel stated in Daniel 7:9-10, “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days [GOD] did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of HIS head like the pure wool: HIS throne was like the fiery flame, and HIS wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before HIM: thousand thousands ministered unto HIM, and ten thousand times ten thousand [one hundred million] stood before HIM: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.”

Just look at how many millions of people are ministering before the LORD in Heaven! In order for them to be ministering to HIM in Heaven, they had to be ministering to HIM, HIS Body here on earth.8 If you are ministering to HIM here on earth, helping HIS Body, you are without a doubt ministering unto HIM, HIS Body, and we, the Church, are HIS Body. “Now ye are the Body of CHRIST, and members in particular” (1 Corinthians 12:27). We are called to help, to minister to each other, because we are the Body of CHRIST.9 We are not to fight, nor are we to ignore one another. But if we have a problem, if we see a brother or sister who has a problem, we are to fix it, if it is within our power to do so. We are never to pretend that we don’t see the problem or problems, but are to minister one to another, help one another!10

We are at the end of time, and soon we will be standing before CHRIST face to face.11 You will not want to hear HIM say unto you, “For I was an hungred, and ye gave ME no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave ME no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took ME not in: naked, and ye clothed ME not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited ME not [being persecuted, and you looked the other way]. Then shall they also answer HIM, saying, LORD, when saw we THEE an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto THEE? Then shall HE answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to ME” (Matthew 25:42-45). In other words, you did not minister to the Body of CHRIST while on earth, and you will not minister before HIM in Heaven.

There is no force on earth that can prevail against the real Body of CHRIST if we are together, which is CHRIST, one hundred million strong, all ministering to CHRIST, HE being the Chief Cornerstone. HE is the head, and we are HIS Body.12 You will either participate with CHRIST, HIS Body, here on earth, or you will never participate with HIM in Heaven. Make your decision now as to what you will do, and either do it, or reject HIM.13 If you accept CHRIST and a place in HIS body as a member, then get busy. Start out now by saying this prayer, then be baptized, fully submerged in water in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT (Matthew 28:18-20). Study HIS WORD, and be faithful to do it!

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11
