GOD IS LAUGHING!

by Tony Alamo

It’s funny that the powers of darkness have the preposterous gall to think and say that they are able to destroy the powerful work of GOD. GOD laughs at them, and GOD mocks them!1 Psalm 2 and many other scriptures say the same thing! Psalm 2 states, “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the [secular] rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against HIS ANOINTED [JESUS and HIS MEMBERS], saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords [In other words, they are saying don’t let them witness to us any longer, send their messages of God away] from us. HE that sitteth in the heavens shall LAUGH: the LORD shall have them [the heathen] in derision [which means that they are to HIM objects of ridicule; they are inept to those who watch]. Then shall HE [GOD] speak unto them in HIS wrath, and vex them in HIS sore displeasure. Yet have I [GOD] set MY KING [JESUS] UPON MY HOLY HILL OF ZION [JERUSALEM]. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto ME [ JESUS], Thou art MY SON; this day have I begotten THEE. Ask of ME, and I shall give THEE the heathen for THINE inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for THY possession. THOU shalt break them with a rod of iron [which is THE WORD of GOD!2]; THOU shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the SON, lest HE be angry, and ye perish from the way, when HIS wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in HIM.”3

“For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one. I have seen the foolish taking root [as we all see today]: but suddenly I cursed his habitation. His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them. Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance. Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground; Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward. I would seek unto GOD, and unto GOD would I commit my cause: Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number: WHO giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields: To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety. HE disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. HE taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong. They meet with darkness in the daytime, and grope in the noonday as in the night. But HE saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty. So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth. Behold, happy is the man whom GOD correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the ALMIGHTY: For HE maketh sore, and bindeth up: HE woundeth, and HIS hands make whole. HE shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. In famine HE shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword. Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh. At destruction and famine thou shalt LAUGH: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth. For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee. And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin. Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth. Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in his season. Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good” ( Job 5:2-27).

The world and the worldly people, the unsaved, are doomed, finished! (II Thes. Chap. 2).4 But GOD and HIS people are forever! (Dan. 7:27).5 The 38th chapter of Ezekiel tells of people from all of the nations of the world joining with Gog and Magog (Russia backed by Rome and the 22 Arabic nations surrounding Israel), and tells that people from all other nations shall come against the people of Israel. GOD shall destroy them all, and He will do it in the land of Israel.6 Gog is the “Chief prince” of Meshech and Tubal (Ezek. 38:2). He will lead the great northern confederacy in an invasion of Israel in these last days (Ezek. Chaps. 38-39), just before Christ’s second advent, and Israel’s victory (Ezek. Chaps. 40-48). GOD destroys them all! There will be so many dead bodies that the Jews will have to hire people from other nations for seven months to bury all of these bones.

“He that believeth on HIM [ JESUS, the WORD of GOD] is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten SON OF GOD. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light [the WORD OF GOD (KJV), which is JESUS7], neither cometh to the light [ JESUS, the WORD, the KJV Bible8], lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in GOD” ( John 3:18-21).

I don’t at all mean to make light of any, or all, of the sorrow, tragedy, desolation, devastation, destruction, and injustices that the devil, Satan, and his unclean spirits have caused in the past, and are continuing to cause to this day in the world.9 I know that it’s not politically correct to say what GOD says (that HE LAUGHS), but GOD and I are not politicians, and never will be. What we are, though, is GODLY correct!10

After JESUS appeared to me face-to-face in a vision I saw with my eyes wide open, back in 1969,11 not only does death no longer have any dominion or fear over me, the thought of death and being with the LORD brings great happiness flooding into my soul. This is because I know that when I die, I will be totally absent from the body and present with the LORD,12 free from all liars, false accusers, and betrayers, and free from all persecution, oppression, corruption, and vast ignorance.13 “(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the LORD. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of HIM. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ [we who are saved, as well as the unsaved, the lost;14 but they shall stand before the great white Throne of GOD’S judgment15]; that every one may receive the things done in his [or her] body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (II Cor. 5:7-10). The Apostle Paul said in II Corinthians 5:11, “Knowing therefore the terror of the LORD, we persuade men [preach the WORD of GOD, distribute gospel literature16]; but we are made manifest unto GOD; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.”

After Sarah gave birth to Isaac while past the age of being able to bear children, “And Sarah [the wife of Abraham] said, GOD hath made me to LAUGH, so that all that hear [of this miracle] will LAUGH with me. And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age” (Gen. 21:5-7). Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born.

“The Proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel [says]; To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; [he states by the HOLY SPIRIT] To receive the instruction of wisdom [which is the fear of the LORD,17 GOD’S wisdom is the only true wisdom], justice [GOD’S justice is the only true justice18], and judgment [GOD’S judgment is the only righteous and true judgment19], and equity [the equity of GOD is the only true and pure equity!20]” (Prov. 1:1-3).

Will GOD LAUGH and MOCK at defiant unrepentant sinners when they are screaming their heads off as they are being sent to Hell, then into the Lake of Fire?21 YES! And what can they do about it, the way GOD really is? The only true answer is to REPENT OF YOUR SINS!22 Nothing will prevent GOD from laughing at you and mocking you when you are being cast into Hell and the Lake of Fire!

Proverbs 1:20-33 says, “Wisdom crieth without [from the streets into your ears]; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at MY reproof: behold, I will pour out MY SPIRIT unto you, I will make known MY WORDS unto you. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out MY hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all MY counsel, and would none of MY reproof: I [GOD] also will LAUGH at your calamity [when you are dying]; I will MOCK when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon ME, but I will not answer; they shall seek ME early, but they shall not find ME: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD [wisdom]:23 They would none of MY counsel: they despised all MY reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto ME shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.”

You see, GOD does LAUGH at and MOCK those who laugh at and mock HIM, HIS WORD and HIS people, those who ignore HIS HOLY WORD and think they are able to fight HIM and win.24 Can you think of anything more terrifying than the MOST HIGH GOD laughing and mocking at you while you are being cast into Hell and the Lake of Fire? You screaming “No GOD,” and HIM screaming back to you “No GOD!” That is what mocking means! And then laughing at you! Whether you are saved or not, repent of your sins or you shall surely perish.25 Do it now by saying this prayer to GOD:

Prayer

My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.

Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
