LET US SHOW THE NATIONS

In HIS WORD, GOD tells us the reason HE wants us to follow (do) and observe everything HE says is so that HE can bless us, bless us so much, all the other nations of the world will wonder why we are so blessed.

This is GOD’S motivation. This motivation is clearly outlined in the twenty-eighth chapter of Deuteronomy. Before entering the land of Israel that GOD promised to the Jewish people, Moses stated, “And it shall come to pass, IF thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy GOD, to observe and to do all HIS commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy GOD will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, IF thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy GOD. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine [cows], and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

“THE LORD SHALL CAUSE THINE ENEMIES THAT RISE UP AGAINST THEE TO BE SMITTEN BEFORE THY FACE: THEY SHALL COME OUT AGAINST THEE ONE WAY, AND FLEE BEFORE THEE SEVEN WAYS. The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and HE shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy GOD giveth thee. The LORD shall establish thee a holy people unto HIMSELF, as HE hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy GOD, and walk in HIS ways. AND ALL PEOPLE OF THE EARTH SHALL SEE THAT THOU ART CALLED BY THE NAME OF THE LORD; AND THEY SHALL BE AFRAID OF THEE” (Deuteronomy 28:1-10).

Today, the whole world is as full of sin as it was in the days of Noah. “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the SON of man be” (Matthew 24:38-39).

Even the smallest nations are not afraid of the United States, because they can easily tell that the blessings of GOD are no longer with us!

“And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee” (Deuteronomy 28:11). We are in the midst of depression, economically and for many, mentally as well. There are droughts, and crops are failing. The economy has collapsed. Sickness, disease, and infirmities are on the rise. People are broke. We are not blessed, but cursed.

“The LORD shall open unto thee HIS good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow” (Deuteronomy 28:12).

There are water shortages everywhere; we have borrowed trillions of dollars from China, and our government is printing money to make it look like we are still afloat.

“And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; IF that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy GOD, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them” (Deuteronomy 28:13). We are the tail at this point, not the head.

“And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them. But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy GOD, to observe to do all HIS commandments and HIS statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee” (Deuteronomy 28:14-15). Read the curses in the remaining verses of this chapter, and you will see that this country and the rest of the world are cursed.1

The WORD of GOD lets us know that the United States and the rest of the world are deceived, are in rebellion against GOD, and most will not repent.2

The book of Revelation states, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:9).

Referring to the current one-world government of the beast, the Bible says, “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:3-4). “For by thy sorceries were all nations deceived” (Revelation 18:23).

The Bible is full of warnings to cause us to realize the late hour in which we live, and that we must forsake our sinful ways and turn to the LORD with all our hearts before it is too late. JESUS warned HIS disciples, and us as well: “And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of THY coming, and of the end of the world? And JESUS answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am CHRIST; and shall deceive many.

“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for MY name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matthew 24:3-14). Luke 21:11 adds, “Fearful sights and great signs shall there be from Heaven.” When we see a great increase of wars, earthquakes, and acceleration of other natural disasters, like never before in the history of the world, we will know that we are in the final days of this world.

There shall be a great shaking up of the entire world order. The book of Revelation speaks of four horses representing time periods during the end times of earth in which we are living. We are told that peace shall be taken from the earth. Revelation 6:4 states “And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.” Wars throughout the earth will break out in these last days.

GOD says there shall be a world-wide fire. The Apostle Peter warns, “There shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of HIS coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the WORD of GOD the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men” (2 Peter 3:3-7).

There is no more time for playing games with GOD. Lukewarm Christians must repent and become red hot. JESUS said, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spit thee out of MY mouth” (Revelation 3:15-16).

We are commanded to “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the LORD” (Hebrews 12:14). “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of GOD: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of GOD?” (1 Peter 4:17).

The book of Hebrews states, “See that ye refuse not HIM that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused HIM that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from HIM that speaketh from Heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now HE hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also Heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace [the power of GOD in us], whereby we may serve GOD acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our GOD is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:25-29).

After King Solomon completed building the house of the LORD in Jerusalem, “the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to MYSELF for an house of sacrifice. If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among MY people; If MY people, which are called by MY name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek MY face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now MINE eyes shall be open, and MINE ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place” (2 Chronicles 7:12-15). Even though this Temple was destroyed because of Israel’s falling into idolatry and sin, the promise still stands. GOD hates pride!3 IF we will humble ourselves before GOD, repent of our sins, and seek HIM, HE will be merciful and hear our prayers. HE WILL FORGIVE OUR SINS AND HEAL OUR LAND.

After the LORD was crucified, HE resurrected three days later, as prophesied.4 HIS sinless blood that was shed on the cross is the only acceptable sacrifice for all of our sins, if we will accept it. JESUS was seen by over five hundred witnesses after resurrecting.5 HE appeared to HIS disciples and said, “All power is given unto ME in Heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (Matthew 28:18-20).

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11

After salvation, JESUS said to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.12 Then study the King James Version Bible, and, for your benefit and the benefit of others, do what it says.13

CHRIST and GOD the FATHER now live in you through the HOLY SPIRIT. There is a way you can receive a fuller portion of the divine nature of GOD in you. The more the divine nature of GOD lives in you, the more you will be able to stand against the temptations that have so easily moved so many millions of Christians away from salvation. If you want the world saved, as JESUS commands, then don’t rob GOD of HIS tithes and offerings. GOD said, “Will a man rob GOD? Yet ye have robbed ME. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed THEE? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
