RAPTURE?

by Tony Alamo

The Bible says the only people that will be raptured out of the seven first major plagues, or even the last seven major plagues of the Great Tribulation period, are the two witnesses of God mentioned in the eleventh chapter of the book of Revelation and the fourth chapter of Zechariah.1

The two witnesses are not Moses and Elijah, as many people teach. Moses died and was buried.2 Jesus said John the Baptist was Elijah.3 He was slain while in prison, beheaded, and was buried.4 Both of them, Elijah and Moses (their spirits), spoke to Jesus on the mount of transfiguration!5 I believe Enoch and his wife will be the two witnesses. Enoch has to die! “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).

Jesus said, “And I will give power [authority] unto My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth” (Revelation 11:3). (Being “clothed in sackcloth” means they will be fasting.6) “These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the god of the earth” (Revelation 11:4, Zechariah 4:11-14).

These two witnesses of God are also mentioned in the Old Testament book of Zechariah 4:2-3, 11-14. The angel of the Lord asked the prophet Zechariah what it was that he saw. The prophet told the angel, “I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl [of eternal life, the Word] upon the top of it, and his seven lamps [the seven Spirits of God: (1) “the Spirit of the Lord…(2) the Spirit of wisdom and (3) the Spirit of understanding, (4) the Spirit of counsel and (5) might, (6) the Spirit of knowledge and (7) of the fear of the Lord” (Isaiah 11:2, Revelation 1:4)] thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: And two olive trees [symbolic of the two witnesses] by it, one upon the right side of the bowl [of life], and the other upon the left side thereof” (Zechariah 4:2-3).

“What are these, my lord?” Zechariah asked the angel. “Then the angel that talked with me [Zechariah] answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the Word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of Hosts” (Zechariah 4:4-6). These two witnesses of God are not at all of their own power, or might of their own, but by the power of God, Christ, the Holy Spirit.7

Zerubbabel is the man who helped lead the children of Israel back from their seventy-year captivity in Babylon to Israel.8 They were all delivered by the Holy Spirit of the Lord. “Who art thou, O great [difficult] mountain [trials, tribulations]? before [the Holy Spirit] Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the Headstone [the Headstone, the Chief Cornerstone of the building of God, the church, is Christ in spiritual Israel, the head of the body of Christ] thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it” (Zechariah 4:7).

The Spirit is the same with the two witnesses of God, who stand before the god of the earth (the devil). It will “Not [be done] by [their] might, nor by [their] power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of Hosts” (Zechariah 4:6).

Zechariah asked, “What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil [the Word of God by the Holy Spirit] out of themselves?…Then said he [the angel], These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the lord of the whole earth [the devil]” (Zechariah 4:12, 14).

Revelation, chapter eleven states, “These [two witnesses] are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the god of the earth [which is the devil]. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

“And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit [the spirit of the devil, whose seat is Rome, the Roman, devil-powered, one-world, anti-Christ, anti-American cult and government system, secular government and religion9] shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. [The whole world is become as Sodom, Egypt, and where the Lord is currently being crucified daily, by this mystery Babylon.10] And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. [This is prophecy of satellite television two thousand years before television or satellite TV was ever thought of, except by God.]

“And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them [as they do today, when they see Christians persecuted or murdered because of the false accusations—slander—for worshipping and serving God11], and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. [They are tormented by them when they hear the true Word of God preached by them, which tells them they are going to be tormented in the Lake of Fire forever, because they (the wicked people of the world) are the opposers of ecclesiastical discipline, opposers of Christian orthodoxy, opposers of God’s Law and the final judgment of God’s Law. Those who are antagonistic to the preaching of the Gospel—these people of the world—are the enemies of God.12]

“And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them [the two witnesses], and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from Heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to Heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them” (Revelation 11:4-12). They died (were murdered like Jesus), then resurrected in three days and a half, just as Jesus our Lord was. Then, just like the Lord, they were taken up to Heaven in a cloud.13 THANK YOU FATHER GOD! THANK YOU, JESUS!!

Don’t let the false prophets fool you any longer. There is no rapture except this one!! And after the servants of the Lord are sealed, is when the seven last and greatest tribulations begin (Revelation 7:3-8).14 The false prophets tell you that the Lord is coming to get all of you deceived, wicked people before the tribulations, but Jesus tells you the exact opposite.15 Jesus says, “Believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST [who is the Way, the TRUTH, and the Life (John 14:6)], and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31). You are not to believe in the false prophets who tell you it is okay to sin, and thou shalt be saved.16 If you believe false prophets, you shall forever be damned in Hell with them, and in the Lake of Fire with them, and that is for sure.17

Here is what the Lord Jesus Christ says in Matthew 24:29-31: “Immediately AFTER the tribulation [not before] of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

If you’re saved and you die, you will be with the Lord, but if you live, you will go through the tribulations.18 No one has any assurance that you will live another hour.19 If you are not saved, say this prayer to God and you will be initially saved:

Prayer

My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up your cross daily and follow Jesus for the purpose of mortifying your flesh, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God with Christ on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God in Christ on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, submit yourselves one to another, and do what the Word says so that the church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God’s Word, His order, and His authority in and by you. Praise the Lord. May God bless and reward you abundantly. Yours in the wonderful name of Jesus,

Praise the Lord. May God bless and reward you abundantly.

Yours in the wonderful name of Jesus,
Pastor Tony Alamo
