Removing the Ugly Veil

by Tony Alamo

The minds of the Jewish people were blinded. However, when they turned their hearts to God, the veil keeping them from Him was taken away (II Cor. 3:13-16). After turning their hearts to God, they were able to control their thoughts, their emotions, and their lives, enabling them to keep the spirit of world lust, passion, and desire out of their lives. Although many of them didn’t continue with God, a remnant did, just as only a remnant will be saved today. 1 The Lord states, "Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" (Matt. 7:14).We are in the New Testament new covenant now.

We are in the New Testament new covenant now. 2 The New Testament promise from God is that whenever a person, Jew or Gentile, "turns [his mind and his heart in repentance] to the Lord [the written Word of God], the veil [that blocks his ability to understand God, to know God, and to have His power] is stripped off and taken away" (II Cor. 3:16). Then they may see the light, the knowledge of God, and have, by God’s Spirit entering their spirit, the very life and power of God to control their thoughts, their emotions, and their lives. This will enable them to retain their allegiance to Christ. After Christ’s death and resurrection, He became a life-giving Spirit.3 He is now able to dwell within human beings by sending Himself into them at the time of their asking.4 At this time they are given God’s power to keep the spirit of all the lusts of the world out of their lives.5

Receiving salvation will not end Satan’s attempts to plant his evil thoughts into our minds in the hope of getting us to attend to his suggestions.6 Because of this, we must constantly renew our minds with the Word, the Spirit, the power of God.7 We must constantly attack Satan’s suggestions, then guard the mind area with the double-edged sword, the Word of God, where Satan places his thought-temptations.8 If we do not constantly fight this battle, the good fight of faith, we shall not be saved.9 Again, this good fight of faith means planting new thoughts in our minds, that is, inserting the Word of God into our minds daily. By constantly doing this, our minds will become minds of faith, "the mind of Christ" (I Cor. 2:16).10 Satan cannot suggest any evil thing to those whose minds are renewed daily by the Word of God.

God’s life, God’s power, and God’s control over our lives is found only in His Word.11 Therefore, there is no profit in hearing or reading any other word. If we accept this new way of life, this new way of keeping God’s Word, His thought implanted in our minds, we have put on "the whole armour of God" and are "able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Eph. 6:11). Satan has no power over your renewed mind to draw you away into lust, passion, or desire. This is how the young men in I John 2:14 overcame the wicked one. It’s very important for the people of the world to remove this gruesome veil from their minds and their hearts immediately so they may be able to control their thoughts, keep the spirit of lust out of their lives, and stand strong in allegiance with Christ against the wiles of the devil.

The last of the end-time signs are now upon us.12 When the disciples of Jesus asked Him when the end of time would come,13 Jesus replied that one of the signs was as follows: "Ye shall hear of wars and commotions" (Luke 21:9). More scriptural evidence of the end of time, which can be easily observed today, is the "distress of nations, with perplexity" (Luke 21:25). Why are the nations distressed and perplexed? According to Scripture, God’s written Word, it is because the minds of the entire world, including these secular leaders, have no godly control over their thoughts. They don’t have God’s power to keep the spirit of lust out of their lives. Jesus speaking to those who will, in these last days, keep their minds and hearts stayed upon Him, the Word, said "Because thou hast kept the Word of My patience [kept your heart and your mind turned unto Christ, the Word which is God], I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth" (Rev. 3:10). That prophecy has been in the process of fulfillment for many years.

The minds of the leaders of every nation have been smitten with madness, insanity, by God. Evidence of this end-time sign is obvious and is prophesied of in Zechariah 12:4: "In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness." Nations are symbolized in Scripture as horses, as mountains, and as waters.14 When Scripture states every rider of every horse will be smitten with madness, it means every leader of every nation will be smitten by God with insanity. It is simply because they have not desired to turn their hearts, their minds, and their entire lives over to God to be controlled by Him, as well as to have God’s life and His power living in them. Instead they have directed their minds to be driven by the insane one, whose name is Satan. When Satan invades anyone’s mind, especially the minds of the leaders of every country, the world experiences insane unrighteousness and destruction.15 Those who receive Satan’s thinking rather than God’s are deemed "insane" by God. Those who have received God’s written Word have the mind of Christ, as well as Christ’s control over their thoughts so they might keep the spirit of lust out of their lives.16

The godly mind produces righteousness and sanity.17 God’s written Word, injected into the thinking mind, the heart, and the spirit, changes that person’s thinking from evil to good, from lust to the peace, power, and wisdom of God.18 Proverbs 23:7 states, "For as he [anyone] thinketh in his heart, so is he." The word "thinking" in the heart shows that the mind is not only a division of the heart, but is also the arena of faith. The written Word of God is God.19

Our knowledge has increased as prophesied,20 yet we still see "upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity," along with distressed, perplexed, and insane world leaders. No matter what world leaders tell us, we know that all our knowledge of electronic commerce, NATO, information, technology, communications, the high-tech industry, the digital economy, the secular government, and the Internet cannot produce God’s salvation or His enlightenment.21 Nor can today’s advancements in weaponry bring an end to either today’s "distress of nations with perplexity"22 or to the world leaders’ insanity.

The universe was not created by man’s intelligence, his insanity, his machines, or his weapons.23 The universe was not created by man or by his politics. It is not governed by man’s political marketeering, his distress, his perplexity, his mental illness, his wild frenzy, his wild excitement, his wild enthusiasm, his uncontrollable rage, his anti-Christ knowledge, his machines, his bombs, or any of his other devil-inspired moods, manipulations, emotions, and devices. However, it is being destroyed by them.24

Salvation was not created by man’s devices or by his false man-made religions.25 Salvation is only available through Christ, the written Word.26 "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ [the entire written Word of God], and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31).

The true Christian church of God is the product of nothing else but Christ’s death and resurrection.27 The church of God is the network or body of believers who have totally surrendered their lives unto God so that God, after cleansing their former sins away in the blood of Jesus, may live in them, using them as His temple to work His mighty works in like He did when He walked two thousand years ago in the human body, the temple, of the God-man named Jesus.28 The actual life of God mingles Himself in the spirits, in the bodies of every person who is totally willing to do God’s complete and total will. He does this so He might dispense Himself, His life, into others through them, others who will, in the future, be willing to do the entire will of God by allowing God to do His mighty works in them.29 This network of yielded people, who are called the church, Christ’s bride, God’s temple, or God’s house, is altogether not natural, but is wholly divine.30 This is because it is solely a product of Christ’s death and His subsequent resurrection. If we, after being resurrected through Christ’s resurrection, begin living the natural (or worldly) life again, we can no longer be considered part of the divine church of Christ.31 This is because the church is not any part of the natural world.32 It is the anointed kingdom in resurrection by our faith in God’s Word, revealed through our obedience to do all His will 33 which is in His written Word where God’s life, Spirit, power, and control resides.

When God united Himself to fallen humanity by His incarnation in the person of Christ, He, of course, was without sin. He passed through human life without sinning for thirty-three and a half years.34 He laid down His life so He might take it up again, ending His personal, incarnate ministry at the cross, where He died.35 The death of that wonderful God-man covered every aspect of our salvation.36 His resurrection cleared the way for His new ministry of dispensing Himself as a life-giving Spirit into many believers.37 All those who have accepted Him are filled with His immortal, eternal, divine, resurrected life and are the true church, His New Testament chosen people.38 God’s divine life within this God-man was released when His Spirit was released on the cross.39 This divine life of God, which is found in His written Word, produces the many true believers, those who are members of the real church wherein God lives, which is Christ’s body.40 This is the body which Christ, who is now the life-giving Spirit, returns to live in as the last Adam, a life-giving Spirit, resurrecting those who are spiritually dead and giving them the gift of eternal life.41

Christ, the Word of God, the divine, life-giving Spirit who is the actual life of God, is dispensed into our spirits by faith as we read God, the written Word.42 "Where the Spirit of the Lord [the Word, God’s life with all His power] is, there is liberty,"43 liberty from the bondage of Satan so that we might serve God by the life and power of His Spirit living in our spirits. His immortal life, which becomes our new life mingled within our spirits, is renewed daily by our keeping our minds glued to the Word, which is God, with His life, His power, and His control now in us.44 Christ’s body, the church, is resurrected from the dead works of the lust-filled world into the sinless life of God with His healing, comfort, deliverance, and all power through its members constantly turning their hearts to the written Word, which is God, so they might receive their renewal in God’s continuous, life-giving Spirit daily.45

Again, His life as well as His healing and all other divine, powerful gifts, are in the written Word we preach and teach through Him within us.46 Jesus promises "If ye abide in Me and My WORDS [with God’s life-giving Spirit in them] abide [live] in you, ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you" (John 15:7).

Outwardly He, when here on earth, looked like an ordinary man because He became a man through His incarnation. Inwardly, however, He was "The mighty God" (Isa. 9:6).47 The same is true with every human He lives in. Outwardly we look like human men and women and we are because of our human birth, but inwardly, according to God’s written Word, God Almighty dwells.48 This is because we’ve been born again of Christ’s life-giving Spirit.49 In this way we are one with Him, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and we are His bride.50 "But as many as received Him [the Word of God, Christ, the life-giving Spirit], to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name [which is the entire written Word of God51]" (John 1:12). True humility is believing that we are all that God says we are. He is the head of the church52 and we are His very body.53 The church has confidence only in God, the written Word.54 As Peter said, "Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the Words of eternal life" (John 6:68).55

Revelation 11:18 states God shall "DESTROY THEM WHICH DESTROY THE EARTH [the insane ones who are driven by Satan rather than directed by God]."56 We must have faith and obedience to God’s Word, for our very life. 57 How sad that only a remnant of the world’s population desires eternal life enough to turn their backs on the world and turn their hearts to God. Because of this, few shall attain immortality.58 Soon the entire deceived world, which believes an insane, chaotic, self-destructive lifestyle which destroys the earth is much more fun than living by God’s order, which is caused by His life in them with His healing, comfort, deliverance, and power, will be in for the greatest shock of their lives. This will happen when God commands the universe to act in a more insane, chaotic, and destructive manner than the unsaved people of the world.59 God states that soon the sun will "be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from Heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken" (Matt. 24:29).60 Then those who live their godless, insane lifestyle, those who love destruction and chaos, will immediately realize that God is letting them not only have a taste of what they’ve sown, but a far greater harvest of woes than their inferior, godless, carnal minds could ever imagine.61 This will be just the beginning of God’s fun and their sorrows.62 Deuteronomy 28:63 states, "The Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it."

The one-world system we are living in foolishly says God is not God. They add to their foolishness by saying they are God. God states, "Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas [all the nations]; yet [God says] thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel [you think]; there is no secret that they can hide from thee: With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:63 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee" (Ezek. 28:2-9).

Our faith and confidence in God’s life-giving written Word will drive all wickedness, doubt, fear, and worry out of our minds and hearts.64 We must learn to trust the life-giving written Word of God for every promise He makes.65 It’s wonderful to know there is a clear way to remove the ugly veil which separates us from God, a clear way to escape Hell and enter Heaven. The way is by turning our hearts, our minds, and our spirits to the life-giving, power-giving written Word of God so that the gruesome veil of separation between us and God, that is, the thoughts of lust introduced into our minds by Satan, will be completely pulled down and driven away by God, the Word.66 "(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God [injecting into our minds the Word] to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God [the Word], and bringing into captivity [by God the Word] every thought to the obedience of Christ [who is God, the Word]; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled" (II Cor. 10:4-6).

The root of sin is lust, and the root of lust is the thoughts of the world introduced into our minds by Satan. The satanic lust for the world must be dealt with at the root. Satan cannot introduce thoughts into the mind which is turned firmly and constantly to God’s Word. The mind which is stayed upon God has perfect peace and is sound.67 All those who meditate in God’s Word day and night shall be "prosperous, and...have good success" (Josh. 1:8).68 We will continue to live in a state of morbid spiritual poverty, blindness, and death until we do this.69 Unless we turn our hearts to God, the evil powers of this condemned world can easily convince us that the great dark ways they teach are a great light.70 Today’s deceived and blind world rulers have been so deceived by Satan that they actually believe they are God’s chosen leaders.71 And the same deception that Satan has used to blind them has deceived the world’s population as well.72

The truth is that God’s real rulers, the spiritual leaders of the world, have been certified by God’s Word in the thirteenth chapter of the book of Romans to be the regenerated, resurrected, sanctified, and authorized ministers of the gospel.73 How could secular, Satan-inspired, utterly deceived, perjurous, lying, blind, and insane politicians, as well as false religious leaders, be God’s ministers, His world leaders?74 If they were honest with themselves, they would know they are not. They are shameful and a disgrace before God, the angels, and the entire world. Yet, the foolish, blind world continues trusting in these sinful, mad, blind leaders. These individuals minister the exact opposite of that which God teaches.75 God’s Word illustrates over and over again the fates of those who have done the things these individuals do. History should tell them how ridiculous and insane it is to attempt to fight God and His people.76 Those who do such things are begging God for eternal damnation. God promises He shall reward them with it.77 Therefore, we can, by God’s Word, discern they are insane. These antichrist kooks have been sent forth by the devil himself to cloud the vision of the world’s population and keep them from receiving God, as well as to plug their ears to the messages sent from God by His true messengers.78 Immortality, an eternal life given to us by God, is only available to us if we receive God’s message, which is to believe and receive Christ, the Word, into our hearts and minds.79 Our wisdom is to receive God’s wisdom.80 I Corinthians 1:24 states, "Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God."

Again, salvation is a continuous work of turning our hearts to the Lord, that is, renewing our minds by God’s Word on a daily basis.81 It means reading the written Word of God daily, which has His life, healing, comfort, and power to deliver us within it. 82 Galatians 5:16-17 states, "Walk in the Spirit [in God’s life, the written Word], and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit [the life, the written Word of God], and the Spirit [the life, the written Word of God] against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot [if your desire is to have eternal life] do the things that ye would." The written Word of God is life, and the world, which is filled with nothing but lust, is both flesh and death. As Jesus stated, "It is the Spirit [of God in the Word] that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life" (John 6:63).

If a person steadfastly injects the written Word of God into his mind, his heart, and his spirit on a daily basis, he or she cannot be tempted or distracted away from God by the lusts or other distractions of the world. Our salvation, regeneration is not a one-time act of faith. Salvation, regeneration, is a daily turning of our hearts, our minds, and our spirits to God, the written Word, and doing all that God the Word commands. Keeping our hearts stayed upon God the Word and being in His service daily are the keys to permanently removing the ugly veil between ourselves and God. God is an everyday, twenty-four hours a day God.83 Jesus said, "Take up [your] cross daily, and follow Me" (Luke 9:23).

The world system is filled with many powerful, satanic forces which constantly attempt to pull us back into the world, a world which we are commanded by God’s written Word not to love.84 God’s written Word tells us there is nothing in the world but lust.85 "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world" (I John 2:16).

The most powerful weapon the devil has against us is the power of suggestion, and his suggestions, which are always lies, are always contrary to the Word of God.86 This is because they are filled with the lust of the world. Satan always suggests some unlawful worldly thing that you might have a passion for, or that you might desire. When we pay any attention to a suggestion planted in our minds by the devil, we are considering it or attending to it, and hence are lusting for it. If we don’t immediately extinguish it in our minds and replace it with God’s Word, it will bring forth lust, sin, and death in us.87 "When lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death [an eternal death in Hell]" (Jas. 1:15).

If we have a lust for eternal life and attend only to God’s written Word, we will renew our minds daily with the life of God within our spirits so that we may retain the life of God forever.88 The Word of God poisons and kills lust, sin, and death. Our minds, hearts, and souls will be so filled with God, the written Word, that there will be no danger of being enticed by any of Satan’s temptations. Satan knows he cannot win a round against a mind and heart filled with God’s Word.89

The world system is filled with three lusts: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.90 These were all found in Eve in Eden. Eve lusted with her eyes. She saw that the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was beautiful and desirable to eat.91 She lusted for it with the lust of the flesh, and thought it would make her equal to or wiser than God, which is the foolish pride of life.92 However, the law of life is to walk after the Spirit of God, which is the Tree of Life, Christ, the Word of God.93 We are to meditate in it day and night.94 Eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the world system, puts us in bondage to the devil and is the law of sin and death.95 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in [the Word, the life, the power of God] Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit [of God]" (Rom. 8:1).

Satan’s world system has been condoning the breaking of God’s commandments for years, which includes the murdering of infants. This system has also been focusing on the annihilation of the aged and handicapped. This hypnotic, blinding system is currently penalizing people for being old or handicapped. It penalizes people for being married and having any children at all, basing this decision on the lie that there is not enough land, food, or water to support any more people on this earth. God will supply all those who trust in Him with their every need.96 God knew of this day and age. He knew the end of all things at the beginning of creation.97 He is quite capable of handling all of His affairs, which includes the controlling of life and death.98 He will honor those who trust His abilities and shall utterly annihilate all those who doubt His ability to give life, to heal, to deliver, and to control.99 Do you believe? If you do not believe, you are surely damned, condemned.100

I Timothy 4:1-3 states in the last days that doctrines "forbidding to marry" are the "doctrines of devils." This doctrine of devils is, of course, against God’s purpose, His law.101 God never has and never will appoint anyone to regulate mass murder in the name of population control.102 To commit such evil is spiritual wickedness [insanity] in high places, inspired by none other than Satan.103 Again, God knows how to regulate the population without any aid from the politicians.

God delivered His people from Pharaoh because Israel cried unto God with all their hearts for deliverance.104 The instruction to cry unto God for deliverance is found in His Word.105 God will deliver everyone both today and in the future who trusts in Him, the written Word, then cries unto Him as God’s Word says we must in order to receive deliverance. We must, like Israel in the days of Pharaoh, turn our hearts to God in Heaven. We must not, when oppression comes, wait for four hundred years or even four hundred seconds to turn our hearts to God for help.106

According to God’s written Word, nothing could stop Pharaoh’s insanity except Israel’s turning to God, the life-giving written Word, crying unto Him with all their hearts to deliver them from the maniacs who were killing their precious little newborn baby boys.107 The same and much more than this is happening today. Nothing can stop today’s antichrists’ insanity unless all the members of Christ’s body turn their hearts to God.108 How much more of a foothold do you desire Satan to have before your cries are heard by the Great Magistrate of Heaven? How much more wickedness from principalities, from evil powers, from the rulers of the darkness of this world, and from spiritual wickedness in high places must we see before all of our hearts, souls, minds, and strength are directed towards God in obedience and prayer for deliverance from all that which occurs in today’s world that we know to be wicked and contrary to God’s Word?109 God, the written Word, lets us know in no uncertain terms that there will be no action from Him, no deliverance from Satan until we turn our hearts to Him in fervent prayer, asking and trusting Him for deliverance from every satanic thing happening to us and to others on earth.110 We are to obey Him and pray to Him asking for His kingdom to be established, for His will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven,111 and for the people of the world to be delivered from the blinding bondage of Satan so they might be set free, not to sin some more, but to serve God in the beauty of holiness by the power of God’s life living in them.112

If God sees our hearts permanently cemented to Him, the written Word, and hears our voices fervently sighing and crying unto Him for all the abominations in the world to cease, He will answer our petitions with many deliverances, along with thousands of signs and wonders. He will deliver us and those we sigh and cry for.113 This is the method by which the Israelites put an end to their bondage and to the atrocities committed against them. God will do the same for us who obey Him, who cry unto Him today as He did for the Israelites. He never changes.114 This is God’s definition of a perfect man or woman.115 Those who say there is no perfect man or woman are wrong.116 They don’t know, understand, or care what God’s definition of perfection is. God, the written Word, tells us nothing will stop today’s oppressive madness other than His action motivated by our prayers. Whether you are an oppressed Christian or an oppressed person who desires to be a Christian, you will be delivered from all frustration, all oppression, all hurt, and all condemnation if you continuously read, believe, and obey God, the written Word.

"Faith...worketh by love" (Gal. 5:6). Love is the keeping of God’s commandments.117 Reach out to God now, trusting Him with every fiber of your being to deliver you from all that He promises you He will.118 According to God, the written Word, there is no other solution for our problems or for the problems of the entire world. God, the written Word, is our helper,119 our deliverer,120 our defender, our Savior, our shield,121 our buckler,122 our armour,123 our fortress,124 our strength,125 our Lord, our King, and our God.126

If we want to see God’s mighty works, we must call upon Him now with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, and all our strength so that He will put an end to the satanic world system’s atrocities, including those blasphemies committed by the possessed ones who renounce and oppose God and His people by rejecting Him, the written Word. These foolish ones have not seen God react because of our silence. God wants to hear our voices before He will react. God is waiting for word from us. Again, He will not react, and we cannot win, until the resurrected body of Christ, the church, turns its heart unto Him and calls upon Him for deliverance. Let’s do this daily so that He might set us on high above every nation of the earth and be our God for our salvation, our preservation, our defense, our deliverance, and our healing.127 Let’s all pray and trust that He will "supply all [our] need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus [the Word]" (Phlp. 4:19). "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation" (II Cor. 6:2). "Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind [through the written Word]" (Rom. 12:2).

Think of yourself as a spiritual clock, a spiritual clock which needs to be rewound several times each day. We, as spiritual clocks, are rewound simply by turning to God the written Word all day, cementing our attention on Him. Is there anything more simple than reading God’s written Word to anchor our soul, to keep us alive, and to keep us under His direction and His power from day to day? This direction from God is so simple that a child can understand it. An obedient child can see in God’s written Word how easy it is to attain all of God’s promises. Begin trusting God now by turning your heart to Him. God, the written Word, promises you that He will forgive you no matter how evil you have been, no matter what you’ve ever done, no matter how wicked you have been, and no matter how hopeless it may seem for you to believe God would ever forgive you. God promises He will forgive you if you repent by turning to Him.128 God promises, "Ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord" (Jer. 29:13-14).

You can control your thoughts to keep the spirit of lust out of your life. You can remove the ugly veil right now. Pray this prayer to God, mean it with all your heart, and your initial salvation will immediately begin. After your initial salvation has begun, it is simply a matter of keeping your heart, mind, and spirit focused on God, the written Word, for daily renewal from that moment on, continuing to do what He, the written Word, commands in order to retain your regeneration, your salvation. Begin your initial salvation now by saying this prayer to Him:

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.

Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
