OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS TO TRUST GOD

The Bible speaks of the righteousness of GOD. To be righteous with GOD is to have confidence in GOD’S promises towards us—the ones who trust in HIM! More than anything, GOD wants us to be confident in HIM, for us to trust HIM!1

Isaiah 26:3-5 says, “Thou [GOD] wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on THEE [HIS WORD, which is the HOLY SPIRIT and JESUS2]: because he trusteth [believes, has faith] in THEE. TRUST YE IN THE LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength: For HE bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, HE layeth it low; HE layeth it low, even to the ground; HE bringeth it even to the dust.”

Romans 1:4-5 states that JESUS was “declared to be the SON of GOD with power, according to the SPIRIT of holiness, by [HIS] resurrection from the dead: By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for HIS NAME.” If we have faith, trust, and belief, we have the righteousness of GOD.

This is why the devil doesn’t care how many messages I bring or how many souls that I, by the preaching of GOD’S WORD, lead to the LORD, or that anyone leads to the LORD. The devil’s main goal is to rob you of your faith, your trust, your confidence in GOD.3 The devil wants to steal your faith, your confidence in GOD, so that you are considered by GOD not to be righteous.

Again, our righteousness is trusting, having confidence in GOD, believing in CHRIST, the WORD of GOD.4 Paul states, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of CHRIST: for it is the power of GOD unto salvation [but only] to every one that believeth [trusts, has faith, has confidence in CHRIST, THE WHOLE WORD OF GOD]; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD revealed from faith to faith [from faith in one part of the WORD of GOD to faith in ALL PARTS OF THE WORD OF GOD5]: as it is written, The just shall live by faith [and the unjust shall be damned by doubt6]” (Romans 1:16-17).

Now, for you who believe that you can continue in sin after you’ve been saved, how about this: “For the wrath of GOD is revealed from HEAVEN against ALL ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth [hold CHRIST, who is the truth7—who WERE SAVED but no longer are saved—hold the TRUTH] in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18). These demons on the streets where we are distributing gospel literature actually kick at the people of GOD as though they are evil and they, who GOD’S wrath is upon, are good. They are attempting to make the people of GOD lose confidence in GOD so that they will be damned as they already are.8

If people kicked a dog, cat, or any animal, they would be put in prison. This should show you how twisted today’s people and laws are!!! We are not animals or even close to it! We are created in the image and likeness of GOD! (Genesis 1:26). We have a soul! We will be judged by GOD. These devils are worse than animals! If we call the police, the police join in with the abusers! In the past, if people got violent against us, I took them down and had one of the other brothers call the police to have them arrested for assault and battery. However, now the police and the courts are even more wicked and corrupt than the people assaulting us.

This is why the wrath of GOD will also destroy all of them:9 “Because that which may be known of GOD is manifest [known] in them; for GOD hath showed it unto them, [even the judges, the child thieves, the prosecutors, the persecutors, and all the deceived people of the world who continuously make up false charges against the CHILDREN OF GOD in an attempt to stop the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST from reaching the ears and hearts of the people of the world! Those also who were in the church, then fell away as the Bible said they would, shall surely be destroyed by GOD forever! (Hebrews 6:4-8, 10:26-31)].

“For the invisible things of HIM from the creation of the world are clearly seen [by them], being understood by the things that are made, even HIS eternal [never-ending] POWER and GODHEAD [JESUS is the fullness of the GODHEAD10]; so that they [the fallen away Christians] are without excuse: Because that, WHEN THEY KNEW GOD [THEY KNEW GOD, they WERE SAVED, but not any longer! WHEN THEY KNEW GOD], they glorified HIM not as GOD, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations [they imagine that they’re not going to Hell], and their foolish heart was darkened.

“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible GOD into an image made like to corruptible man [saying they were made in the image of GOD, GOD is corruptible like them], and to birds, and fourfooted beasts [horses, dogs, cats, etc.], and creeping things. Wherefore [this is why] GOD also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of GOD into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

“For this cause GOD gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use [of their pitiful bodies] into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men [doing those things which are unlawful (homosexuality), and receiving the penalty of their sins due unto them]. And even as they did not like to retain GOD in their knowledge, GOD gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; [certainly you cannot believe GOD will allow these reprobates to enter Heaven because] Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of GOD, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of GOD, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them” (Romans 1:19-32). Trust GOD! Have confidence that HE will do all that HE has promised to do!11

Of course, all the things these wicked people do is the exact opposite of righteousness. To enter Heaven we must be perfect, righteous!12 These same wicked people say, “No one is perfect,” even after salvation, denying GOD’S WORD, but they are liars (Matthew 5:48).

Again, righteousness is that we trust, have confidence in GOD, that HE will give an eternity in the Lake of Fire to all the sinners, disbelievers, (and a hot, much hotter, place in Hell and the Lake of Fire) to those who don’t like to keep GOD in their memory (Romans 1:28-32). The ALMIGHTY says, “Now consider this, ye that forget GOD, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver” (Psalm 50:22).

If the devil has got you thinking of those kinds of sins, he has, as the thief, stolen your salvation for these wickednesses.13 You pay here, but also forever in eternity.14

Forget about being socially accepted or politically correct! Don’t be at all afraid of prison or death.15 Be strong in JESUS, believe HIM, the prophets (the Old Testament), the apostles (the New Testament). Nothing is worth giving up your soul to Hell for eternity. Be a man of GOD, a woman of GOD, young man or young lady of the cross—become righteous. JESUS said, deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow ME, and you will have everlasting life in paradise!16

Hebrews 12:1-4 says, “Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto JESUS the author and finisher of our faith [our confidence in HIM]; who for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the shame [as we despise it!], and is set down at the right hand of the throne of GOD. For consider HIM that endured such contradiction of sinners against HIMSELF [for the purpose of saving our souls], lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.”

The strongest and shortest speech the prime minister of the UK (Winston Churchill) made during World War II reminds me of some literature I recently wrote. The speech was this: “Young men: Never, never, never give in.”

DON’T EVER GIVE UP. THE BIBLE SAID IT. THE WORD OF GOD SAID IT WELL BEFORE WINSTON CHURCHILL WAS EVER BORN! LET CONFIDENCE in JESUS be your confidence! Confidently trust JESUS for your salvation by saying this prayer:

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11

After salvation, JESUS said to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.12 Then study the King James Version Bible, and, for your benefit and the benefit of others, do what it says.13

CHRIST and GOD the FATHER now live in you through the HOLY SPIRIT. There is a way you can receive a fuller portion of the divine nature of GOD in you. The more the divine nature of GOD lives in you, the more you will be able to stand against the temptations that have so easily moved so many millions of Christians away from salvation. Pray for the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT.14 For instructions on how to receive the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT and to receive more of GOD’S holy nature, ask for our literature or call. For without holiness, no man shall see GOD (Hebrews 12:14).

If you want the world saved, as JESUS commands, then don’t rob GOD of HIS tithes and offerings. GOD said, “Will a man rob GOD? Yet ye have robbed ME. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed THEE? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
