STEAMED
ABOMINATIONS

by
Tony Alamo

One of the several visions I received from the Lord around thirty-three years ago was a warning from God. I was so far away from the Lord at that time that He gave me several visions, all different but with the same meaning. They warned me that I was not reading the Word enough.1 God was letting me know that when I am not reading the Word, I am not hearing from Him, or replenishing His Spirit in mine so that His Spirit can continue living and growing up in my spirit. I thank God with all my heart that in His mercy He warned me so I would not be cut off from Him forever.

In this particular vision, all I could see was my head. I was so busy that I wasn't really paying attention to what I was eating. I was chewing the food vigorously while busily talking about business. I could see steam rising from the food, and I became curious as to what I was eating and what this vision was all about.

The Old Testament speaks of clean food that we may eat and unclean food that is considered an abomination, very sinful in the eyes of the Lord.2 For example, we are not to eat bats, storks, vultures, pelicans, ducks, geese, and a number of other fowls, such as sparrows, robins, and bluebirds. We can, however, eat chickens, turkeys, quail, and pheasants, birds that have gizzards or filtering systems within them. We are not to eat anything that creeps, anything that has paws, or anything that has webbed feet. We are not to eat crocodile, alligators, lizards, dogs, cats, horses, and a variety of other animals. There are clean fish and there are unclean fish.3 In the New Testament, we are told we can eat whatever is convenient as long as we ask the Lord to bless it.4 To me, it's just as convenient to eat chickens, turkeys, and the other things that God calls clean, since I already know certain things are unclean.

As my curiosity grew regarding what I was eating, the vision widened. I could see a very large platter, heaped with steaming sixteen inch baby alligators, lizards, and other reptiles. They seemed rubbery and wiggled around as the plate moved. They were dark green, rubbery, and steaming. The eyes of these creatures were open, and I was instantly repulsed. I asked the Lord what this meant, but He didn’t answer me at that time. I began seeking His face to find out why these visions were given to me.

It was also during this time that the Lord appeared to me in an oval, gold-framed mirror. I saw this vision when I was fully awake, with my eyes wide open. I could hear His voice, but it was like a radio being turned on and off. The words that He was saying were clipped. I couldn’t understand Him. After seeking what He meant, I learned from Him that I was not reading or praying enough, and therefore was not hearing His precious instructions.5 I was not paying any heed to the way I should go.6

When we read God’s Word, we are hearing from Him.7 When we seek His Word, we find out what it is He wants us to do.8 When we commune with Him in prayer, He communicates what He wants us to do in a minute by minute, day by day communication. It is impossible to have power and guidance from the Lord unless we seek Him through His Word and through prayer.9 It is impossible for God to live and work in us if we are not paying attention to His Words.10

These visions were given to me around thirty-three years ago. I know the victorious life now.11 I'm so happy that He woke me up. I was like a sleeping dog, almost destroyed. Satan was so subtle.12 How foolish it was for me to believe that I could take my eyes away from God the Word and take myself away from communion with Him by the Spirit.13 I thank and praise God for waking my soul up because we are in the last days.14 God did a mighty work through Sue and myself. He desires me to continue doing so, for whatever length of time there is left to do His work in this ministry.15 How glad I am to know He loves me.16

It was hard for me to realize that I was doing anything wrong. I thought I was God’s fair-haired boy because He had shown me so many visions, wonders, and signs. He knew my heart, and because I was the overseer of His church that was winning many souls to the Lord I thought He would understand that I didn’t have time to read and pray as I should because I was buying and building facilities for them to live in and earning money to pay for their food, clothing, and medical needs. I had always been the bread winner in my family since before I became a teenager, and I always had total confidence in my ability to make money. Because of this, I worked instead of praying to the Lord for the finances we needed and seeking His face for direction. I should have been reading His Word to learn more about what He likes and doesn’t like, and learning the examples of Christ and the Apostles after they received His life with the Father by the Spirit in them. I began thinking that God would speak to me by way of visions and signs if I were doing something wrong.

The power of God is stored in His Word.17 If we don’t read it constantly on a daily basis, we have no renewal of God’s Spirit daily.18 And though we know the Word of God, "reproofs of instruction are the way of life" (Prov. 6:23). Without prayer there is no communion with God.19 God was furiously warning me to contact Him. He let me know that I was placed in charge of His biggest work on earth. However, "God is no respecter of persons" (Acts 10:34). If we forsake Him, that is, forsake reading His Word and stop praying, He will cast us off forever. King David warned his son Solomon of these things in these words: "And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek Him, He will be found of thee; but if thou forsake Him, He will cast thee off for ever" (I Chron. 28:9).

Just before this series of visions, the Lord lovingly ordered me to go on a long fast without food and water, a fast which lasted between thirty and forty days, which I mentioned in my literature entitled Biting the Bullet, published in September, 1999. I praise and thank the Lord for His reproof, for His rebukes, for His unfathomable mercy and kindness, and for His many attempts to keep us on the straight and narrow path, which everyone must walk in order to make it into the kingdom of God.20 My wife, Susan, thought I would die, but I didn’t. It was a fast of the Lord.21 God spared me.

Many of you prophets, pastors, ministers, evangelists, scribes, and workers have fallen into the same trap I did. This message is for you. You may be going through severe chastisement from the Lord because you knowingly or unknowingly have forsaken Him.22 God commanded me to do a series on the supernatural ways He has dealt with me. Those of you who know the Lord know that I am telling you the truth regarding the Lord and His doctrine. My doctrine is not my own but His.23 The Lord wants you to read this so that you might understand why it is that you are not hearing from God and why it is that your prayers don’t seem to be getting answered as they used to.24 Many who profess themselves to be Christians and many who are Christians are living the same lifestyle as the unsaved and even worse than the unsaved because they know the truth.25 If you don’t repent and do the first works, Christ will take away all the light of Him that you once knew. Jesus said, "Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick [your light] out of his place, except thou repent" (Rev. 2:5).

The Lord wanted me to tell you these things, to bare my soul before you in hopes that you may do as I did. You may have thought it was wise to stop doing the things of the Lord in order to avoid persecution, or in order to be accepted in your community by your peers.26 But remember, "Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God" (Jas. 4:4). As all of you can see, I have chosen to be loved and honored by God rather than forsake Him and be cast away by Him.27 We all know what the Word of God says regarding the fate of those who seek the honor and respect of man rather than the honor and respect of God.28 If you don’t get back to God, your life is worth less than a wooden nickel. It would have been so foolish for me to not go back to the work of surrendering myself totally and completely unto the Lord.29 It is so foolish for anyone to not reject the world in order to be secure in Christ.30

When the entire world despises me, I am the happiest in the Lord.31 If the world loved me, I would be scared to death that I was lost.32 I’ve chosen to be loved by God and hated by man. You can do the same if you renew your vows and become red hot for Him. Your lukewarmness will cause Him to spue you out of His mouth.33 We can’t be a friend of this world and a friend of the Lord’s at the same time.34 You cannot serve two masters.35

Everyone knew that the prophets of God were the prophets of God. Everyone knew the doctrine of Christ. It wasn’t wishy one way and washy the other. They knew what He stood for as well as what the Apostles stood for after Christ with the Father by the Spirit entered them on the day of Pentecost.36 Can it not be said that everyone knows what my stand with Christ is? I’m not pretending to be a friend of the world in order to receive some condemned token of it. If your stand is different than Christ, the prophets, the apostles, and myself, you are eating steamed abominations as I once was rather than eating from the tree of life.

Unless you are suicidal, you don’t know the day or hour your death shall come.37 If you are suicidal, you will find that where you are going is far worse than where you are now.38 "The Words of the Lord are pure Words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times" (Psa. 12:6). The Word of the Lord is the bread of life.39 If we eat it, we have life. Jesus said, "I am the bread of life" (John 6:35). He is God the Word,40 the fullness of the Godhead41 who lived in a human body,42 proving to the world that human flesh united to Him by His Spirit as Christ’s human body was, can maintain eternal life victoriously in this sin-sick world.43 Galatians 1:8 states, "Though we, or an angel from Heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."

God showed me that if I ate any other doctrine than His, whether it be my own or anyone else’s, I would be eating abominations, not doing the will of God.44 Those who eat abominations, live unscripturally, shall be cast away by God.45 "Seek Him, He will be found of you" (II Chron. 15:2). While you are eating this pure, refined bread of life, praise God and rejoice. Be glad and trust God for your deliverance over the enemy of your soul. Don’t be fearful of the beast, the whore, the false prophet, or anything. "Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man" (Eccl. 12:13).

While reading God’s Word, "consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of Him: For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the Father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons" (Heb. 12:3-8).

This warning from God makes it obvious to me that many people are doing abominable things because they feel these things are of the Lord. These things include tithing to the wrong church, and being more concerned with building, housing, stocking farms, and a variety of other business than with reading God’s Word and communing with Him in prayer. In this vision the Lord showed me that even doing that which I thought was so wonderful was an abomination. How much more of an abomination is it if a child of God begins focusing on anything in the world, on the lusts of their flesh, the lust of their eyes, the pride of life, or on any other device of Satan?46 God commands us to judge ourselves by His Word because it will be His Word that judges us on judgment day. "The Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day" (John 12:48).47 If we neglect His will in favor of our own, it is to our own destruction.48 If we think that God is so loose we can do our own thing and please Him, we had better read the scriptures again.49 This is the exact opposite of what the scriptures tell us. We don’t need to wonder what our fate is "if we neglect so great salvation" (Heb. 2:3), or consider "Of how much sorer punishment...shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace [the Triune God’s life living in us]?" (Heb. 10:29).

Have you ever examined your church and judged it according to God’s Word?50 If not, you need to. Only the Word of God can give life.51 False doctrine will not provide it. The Word of God states that the Word which judges all things will judge us all.52 We are permitted to judge all things if we use the Word of God to do the judging because it is not our own judgment but God’s judgment we are using. We are only forbidden to use our own judgment. Paul stated, "Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters [with the Word of God]? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?" (I Cor. 6:2-3). How would we be able to judge good from evil if we didn’t have the Word of God which clearly shows us the difference? We only know what is acceptable to God by judging everything with God’s Word.53

Begin allowing the Lord to live His life and work His works in you, as He once did, before it’s too late.54 If you have never been saved, then receive Christ with the Father into your spirit by His Holy Spirit.55 Begin your walk with God in His heavenly realm by sincerely calling unto Him with the sinners’ prayer:

Prayer

My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11

Now that you are saved and forgiven of your sins, raise your hands and praise the Lord. Christ now lives in you through the Holy Spirit and there is a way you can receive a fuller portion of the divine nature of God in you. God the Father lives now in you also. The more of the divine nature of God that lives in you, the more you will be able to stand against the temptations that so easily have moved so many millions of Christians away from salvation. This is caused by more man in us than God in us. Mankind has become so wicked that if Satan and his impish army were abolished, we would be our own devil.

Now that you are saved, pray for the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Prayerfully study the Word and pray always for more of the divine nature. For instructions on how to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and to receive more of God’s holy nature, ask for our literature or call. For without holiness, no man shall see God (Hebrews 12:14).

Now that you are saved, it is a commandment to be fully submerged, baptized in water in the name of the Father and in the name of the Son and in the name of the Holy Spirit. Follow all of God’s commands and live.

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.

Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
