The Oldest and Only True Church in the World

JESUS the MESSIAH said in John 6:63, “It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT, and they are life.”

Acts 2:1-2, 4 states, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they [one hundred and twenty Christians] were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.…And they were all filled with the HOLY SPIRIT, and began to speak with other tongues, as the SPIRIT gave them utterance.”

Acts 2:6-17 states, “Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of GOD. And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

“But Peter [moved by the HOLY SPIRIT], standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them [began dispensing the WORD of GOD unto them], You men of Judaea, and all you that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith GOD, I will pour out of MY SPIRIT upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [shall preach the WORD of GOD as GOD pours HIS SPIRIT out through them. They will be vessels that pour out the SPIRIT of GOD, which is the WORD of GOD, to whomever GOD puts them in contact with] , and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.”

In other words, GOD started the true Church, which is but one church in many different parts of the world, by pouring out of HIS SPIRIT, filling the one hundred and twenty people in the upper room with HIS HOLY SPIRIT. This was no denominational church, but it was and still is, to this day, THE CHURCH, THE ONE AND ONLY CHURCH!1

When I hear the media and other misinformed people say that the church I pastor is a new church or group or sect, I immediately realize how ignorant they are, because, in reality, we are an extension of the oldest church in the world, which again was born, established, on the day of Pentecost. We are the continuation of the book of Acts, and the book of Acts does not end with the word “amen” because it—and we—are the continuation of the book of Acts.

GOD started the church by filling the apostles and the others in the upper room with HIS HOLY SPIRIT (Acts 2:4). Then Peter and the others began pouring the WORD (or the SPIRIT) of GOD which was in them out of themselves and into all of the unsaved souls that were present at that time.2 Three thousand unsaved people were saved and filled with the HOLY SPIRIT from the anointing of GOD (on Peter) to the three thousand.

Peter continues his pouring out GOD’S SPIRIT by preaching the WORD of GOD to the throng: “And on MY servants and on MY handmaidens I will pour out in those days of MY SPIRIT; and they shall prophesy [preach, teach, and keep the commandments of GOD, as JESUS did. We the church are HIS (CHRIST’S) body: we go wherever HE leads us and say whatever HE says through us by HIS SPIRIT.]: And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the LORD come” (Acts 2:18-20).

Acts 2:21-41 states, “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD [HIS name is the WORD of GOD 3] shall be saved. Ye men of Israel, hear these words; JESUS of Nazareth, a man approved of GOD among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which GOD did by HIM in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: HIM, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of GOD, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Whom GOD hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that HE should be holden of it. For David speaketh concerning HIM, I foresaw the LORD always before my face, for HE is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: Because THOU wilt not leave my soul in Hell, neither wilt THOU suffer THINE HOLY ONE to see corruption. THOU hast made known to me the ways of life; THOU shalt make me full of joy with THY countenance.

“Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that GOD had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, HE would raise up CHRIST to sit on his throne; He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of CHRIST, that HIS soul was not left in Hell, neither HIS flesh did see corruption. This JESUS hath GOD raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of GOD exalted, and having received of the FATHER the promise of the HOLY SPIRIT, HE hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my LORD, Sit THOU on MY right hand, Until I make THY foes THY footstool. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that GOD hath made that same JESUS, whom ye have crucified, both LORD and CHRIST.

”Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our GOD shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls” (Acts 2:21-41).

So when GOD poured out HIS SPIRIT on the day of Pentecost, one hundred and twenty people were filled with the HOLY SPIRIT, the Baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT. But when Peter was preaching under the anointing of the HOLY SPIRIT, the HOLY SPIRIT through him saved and filled three thousand others on the same day. So it is obvious that GOD is pouring HIS SPIRIT out upon all flesh through HIS good and faithful servants. This is how GOD fulfills HIS prophecy, “I will pour out MY SPIRIT upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy” (Joel 2:28, Acts 2:17).

This is why Christians who only read and go to church are such sinners, because they are not pouring out the WORD of GOD, which is SPIRIT and life, unto sinners by witnessing and testifying to them on the streets and everywhere as people of GOD do.4 To confirm this, I give you another scripture: Romans 10:10-17 states, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on HIM shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same LORD over all is rich unto all that call upon HIM. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved. How then shall they call on HIM in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in HIM of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the Gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the Gospel. For Esaias saith, LORD, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the WORD of GOD.”

Their feet are beautiful because they are the only ones that carry the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Isaiah 66:8-9 states, “Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy GOD.”

Would GOD impregnate Mary and not bring forth the MESSIAH, JESUS, the Savior of the world? No, HE wouldn’t do that. GOD did give HIS only begotten SON to the world to be a sacrifice for our filthy sins.5 Shall we not be members of the resurrected MESSIAH’S body, to bring forth the good news, salvation, Heaven, and the total escape from both Hell and the Lake of Fire? Should we not be a member of the Body of CHRIST to help pour out GOD’S SPIRIT upon all flesh? Doing so is no garden of roses. Be prepared to count the cost.

In Luke 14:28, the LORD says, “For which of you, intending to build a tower [the Body of CHRIST], sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it [whether you have made up your mind to serve GOD in CHRIST till the day you die]?” For how awful it is to those that fall away from GOD after they start and do not go through the finish line, “Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish” (Luke 14:30).

It would be better that a man who starts out in CHRIST, then leaves, were never born, than for him to leave the Church (CHRIST) and be one of those that goes back into the world.6 This is an antichrist. First John 2:18-19 states, “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that Antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.”

They did not wish to continue being members of the Body of CHRIST, to help pour out the SPIRIT of GOD on all flesh, so they quit, and they didn’t count the cost. There is a price to pay.

JESUS said in John 15:19-20, “If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his LORD. If they have persecuted ME, they will also persecute you; if they have kept MY saying, they will keep yours also.” No one suffered a more wicked death than JESUS, no one lived a more perfect life than JESUS, and no one has ever been more contradicted than JESUS. JESUS was GOD in the flesh (John 1:1-4). HE counted the cost, and went through it all to the end.

I have been taken to court fifty-five times, and I only lost two of those cases. I was innocent of both of the crimes for which I was convicted. I also have counted the cost, and I am ready to give my life for CHRIST so that I may enter Heaven. We cannot allow any persecution or any slander to discourage us. Heaven is worth everything that we will go through.7 If you are going to serve the LORD, get ready now. See if you are willing to go to Heaven. See if you are willing to stay out of Hell and the Lake of Fire.

You may not go through what JESUS went through, and you may not even go through what the church and I have gone through. However, here are some things to consider. The enemy will slander you, take you to court, and bring in liars, false witnesses, against you. They will sue you on false charges; they will take and steal your property, as well as the church properties, and sell it for pennies on the dollar. They will kidnap your children, adopt them out, and send them to foster homes run by homosexuals and other perverts. They will send them to public schools where they will be taught that homosexuality, fornication, and abortion are all normal. They will be taught that television is fine, and compel them to watch the filth and violence on it. They will put your children on drugs, and put you in prison on false charges, and even murder some of you. But for me, Heaven is more than worth all of this. This is why the LORD tells us to count the cost.

Anyone who puts mother, father, brother, sister, brethren, or their own self before CHRIST cannot be HIS disciple. Luke 14:26 states, “If any man come to ME, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be MY disciple.” This simply means that we can’t allow our family, the government, or anyone to pull us out of the Church, the Body of CHRIST, or keep us from helping HIM pour out HIS SPIRIT upon all flesh that they may be saved.8

If you agree with GOD, HIS SON, the prophets, and the apostles, then why don’t you say this prayer to be saved? Get yourself baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and in the name of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT. Then study the WORD, and by all means do what HE says. Amen!

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11

Now that you are saved, make sure you are baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, in the name of the SON, and in the name of the HOLY SPIRIT (Matthew 28:18-20). Serve GOD with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30). Study the Scriptures, and do what they say until the day you die (2 Timothy 2:15, 3:14-17).
