THE SOWER

by Tony Alamo

There are a multitude of passages in the Bible which tell us that Satan always seeks to dwell in, or around, the true works of GOD, pretending to be of GOD for the purpose of eventually undermining and possibly destroying the works of GOD, which GOD has raised up.1 He also wants to reenter the bodies of sleepy, unguarded Christians and to bring in seven other devils with him, and then the state of that person is worse than ever (Luke 11:24-26).

One of a series of these passages which JESUS spoke is the parable of the sower in Matthew chapter 13. This is where the LORD JESUS likens the WORD of GOD to “seed” because, just like any other seed, it produces and grows. When GOD’S WORDS, seeds, begin to grow, the weeds also begin to grow up around them to choke out the goodness of the good seed or WORD of GOD so that the worthless weed may thrive, and the good plant will struggle to survive.

In Matthew 13:24, JESUS said, “The kingdom of Heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy [the devil, who hates GOD’S WORD] came and sowed weeds [symbolic of the children of the devil] among the wheat [symbolic of the children of GOD, who received the good seed, the WORD of GOD], and went his [the devil’s] way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the weeds also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, did you not sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it weeds? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, No; lest while you gather up the weeds, you root up also the wheat with them. [This means when saved souls are newly saved, you as a pastor are not to put cunning, demon-possessed people out of your church. This is because the young baby Christians will not understand why you are doing it because they don’t understand or see the conning of those devils, because they are so deceptive, and they (the Christians) may fall away from the LORD in the process. Babes are too new.] Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the weeds, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn” (Matthew 13:24-30). This keeps pastors and ministers on their toes (in the SPIRIT) to keep preaching strong SPIRIT-filled messages to subtly expose those weeds in the church. And put them out if they make themselves obvious.

“The kingdom of GOD cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within” a person when the SOUL, SPIRIT, or LIFE of GOD enters them (Luke 17:20-21). When this happens, every devil from Hell begins attacking the newly saved souls. It seems unbelievable, but it’s true.

The enemy of your soul wants you to believe that everything was fine before you accepted CHRIST as your SAVIOR, but now you have never had such trouble. This experience is normal, and you must combat it by telling the devil, “The blood of JESUS is against you, Satan,” so he will flee from you.2 The devil doesn’t want to see anyone saved. He is a weed, and he wants you to also be a weed. This is SPIRITUAL warfare.3 You will either fight this way, or die in your sins.

Don’t follow the example of the weeds in your church or wherever you gather together. There are more demon-possessed people in this world and in churches than saints to watch.

If you’re not saved yet, then say this prayer to be saved and have all of your sins washed away by faith in the soul-cleansing BLOOD of JESUS:

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11
