BE PATIENT POSSESS YOUR SOUL

Acts 9:1-9 states, "And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the LORD, went unto the high priest, And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any [Christians, not Catholics] of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from Heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou ME? And he said, Who art THOU, LORD? And the LORD said, I am JESUS whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, LORD, what wilt THOU have me to do? And the LORD said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man. And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.”

This blindness was the thorn in the apostle Paul's flesh.1 He was legally blind. He couldn't see very well with his natural eyes, but his Spiritual eyes were wide open. One thing he knew very well was that he was not to persecute the Church any longer, because if you are persecuting the Church, you are persecuting CHRIST. JESUS asked, "Why persecutest thou ME?"

The Church is the BODY of CHRIST, and when you're persecuting the Church, you're persecuting CHRIST. The Church is absolutely CHRIST HIMSELF.2 This is why we must be without sin.

Many people in many churches think they are persecuting the Church, but in reality, they are persecuting CHRIST. They are so lame that they don't realize what they are doing, but they will still have to pay for their actions if they don't repent right away.

There's a person in the LORD'S L.A. Church on Sierra Hwy who is buying unscriptural books and bringing them into the Church. This is against the rules the LORD has set down for HIS Church because many books contain false doctrine, which could cause a young Christian to fall away from GOD.3 This is why the pastor screens all books before they can be taken into the church. If someone is causing Christians to fall away from GOD, would this person not be of the devil, fighting CHRIST and persecuting CHRIST? Do you actually think you will win in a battle between you and CHRIST if you are persecuting CHRIST? The answer is no.

Remember, the Apostle Paul was not yet a Christian when he was persecuting CHRIST, but people in the Church are to be for CHRIST, not against HIM. Why are you persecuting CHRIST?

If you're reporting a matter in the Church, the people you are reporting must read your report and counter it with witnesses from both sides before it’s sent to the pastor so that they can counter (say yea or nay) to the report, whether it be true or false, so that they (the accused) are able to answer the report affirmatively or negatively. You have been told this many times, but you still do not do that. Why? Why persecutest thou CHRIST when you know there is a day of reckoning coming?4 I tell you these things for the sake and maintenance of your soul.

Many of the people in this Church have gotten cell phones that have not been authorized. Some have, since I have been in prison, gotten television sets and computers. As a result, many have fallen away from the LORD. Two former sisters, one with six children, and one with one child, have used their unauthorized cell phones for their adulterous affairs. They both committed adultery, and for this reason they can no longer attend the LORD'S Church. There are many churches that don't belong to the LORD; they can attend those churches, but not the LORD'S Church. They were having affairs with a sixteen year old young man, who also had a cell phone. He may not attend the LORD'S Church. "It is hard to kick against the LORD." Why is this so? It is because you cannot win.

The LORD has shown you a few things. For a while you thought they meant a lot, but now you've forgotten them. You have foolishly begun believing that the things that the LORD originally taught you don’t work. This is because of your lack of patience, and because of trials and tribulations. JESUS said in Luke 21:15-19, “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for MY name's sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish. In your patience possess ye your souls.”

The Apostle John tells us that love is the keeping of GOD’S commandments (1 John 5:3), and if people begin to not keep HIS commandments, it is because of tribulation, distress, persecution, or the other reasons mentioned in Romans 8:35. When Christians will not endure these things, they leave off from serving the LORD. But no matter what the devil has made you believe, I counsel you to believe what the SPIRIT says through David. Psalm 46 tells us, "GOD is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of GOD, the Holy place of the tabernacles of the MOST HIGH. GOD is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: GOD shall help her, and that right early. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: HE uttered HIS voice, the earth melted. The LORD of HOSTS is with us; the GOD of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations HE hath made in the earth. HE maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; HE breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; HE burneth the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am GOD: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of HOSTS is with us; the GOD of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.”

The LORD is saying here that HE created the heaven and earth.5 Man or beast had nothing to do with it. The LORD delivered the nation of Israel out of Egypt, with 10 plagues. HE opened the Red Sea and let Israel walk through on dry ground.6 Moses didn't do that, GOD did. Without GOD there is nothing. Without GOD, we have nothing. Without keeping HIS commandments, we are nothing. Without HIM, we can do nothing, so be still, and know that HE is GOD.7 Don't get out of HIS SPIRIT, and don't get out of HIS will. Walk in the SPIRIT. The church belongs to HIM, so the people must be completely in the SPIRIT. If this is what you want, then begin now by saying this prayer.

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11

Then be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.8 Study the King James Version Bible, and do what it says.9

And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
