IF I HAD NEVER BEEN IN THE FIERY FURNACE

by Tony Alamo

If I had never been put in a fiery furnace, or a lion’s den, or a place similar to being in the belly of a whale, I wouldn’t understand. If we had not had all the property taken from us that we worked for, for years and that we purchased and built on ourselves, I wouldn’t understand. If I hadn’t been slandered with malicious lies by people that I led to the Lord and took care of for years, if I had not been put in jails and prisons on false charges, if I had never been stomped, stoned, beaten, and hated because of the things that liars said and the media printed, if I had not been shot at with guns, if I had not been knifed, and if I had not experienced hundreds of other atrocities, then I would never know, not ever, what Jesus went through or the victory every time God delivered me, and I would never have known or understood the meaning of the scriptures, such as Romans 8:28, which says, “And we know [Paul said we because he, like myself and many others, had been through all the above mentioned experiences1] that all things work together for good to [only] them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” How could we be conformed to the image (and likeness) of His Son (Jesus) if God had not allowed us to go through some of the same or similar experiences?

Our children were taken from us! But aren’t they really God’s children? And what if He wants them to see firsthand how good they had it at our church, and how the things that we taught are absolutely true? Now they see firsthand the evil of the one-world government, its cruelty, its hypocrisy, its lies, its anti-God filth, its total disregard of God, His Word and of sin, its tolerance of juvenile sex in public government schools, as well as the drug use in the same, and the violence, murder, homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexualism, disrespect towards teachers, and disrespect towards Godly authorities in those same government schools (called public schools), and they know firsthand that the entire outside secular world has been deceived by the devil, just as the Word of God said two thousand years ago regarding these last days. “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Rev. 12:9). We need to know that maybe God wants our kids to see this for a season. They have to go through the fire the same as we do if they will be in Heaven with us.2 Even gold (the Bible says) has to go through the furnace.3 “The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the LORD trieth the hearts” (Prov. 17:3).

We murmur and complain about our children being separated from us and being in the hands of such evil, demonic people, but God went first. “He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” (Rom. 8:32).

The whole world is seeing the devil’s troops do their thing, and they are watching us to see how we react, how we conduct ourselves through it all. They will also see when God delivers our kids and us, and they will see God punish the wicked.4 “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? [Or separation from our loved ones?] As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom. 8:33-39). Get on the winning team. Say this prayer so that you can live in Heaven with us when all the corruption in the world is burnt up soon:5

Prayer

My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11

You’ve just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God’s Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.

Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
