THE SECRET

Jesus does not need any more strength for Himself. He said, “All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in Earth” (Matt. 28:18). Mark 13:26 says, “And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with Great Power and glory.” The power which enabled Him to rise from the dead, from the tomb, was far above all the forces of nature, and was not for Himself. He has always been selfless. His incredible body belongs to our bodies. “We are members of His body” (Eph. 5:30).

“Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith He, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication [those of you who are unmarried]. Every sin that a man [or woman] doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price [the blood of Jesus]: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s” (I Cor. 6:13-20). “For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones” (Eph. 5:30).

“Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience” (Col. 3:5-6). Our hearts have a right to draw from His heart all that our hearts need. Our human physical life has a right to draw from His physical human life our support and strength. It is not us, but it is the powerful precious life of God’s Son, who is ours, and we are His. What profit would it be to not take Him as your life? You will be healed, and you will have a new life for every one of your needs. It will be waves and a downpour of life that will sweep disease away and remain a fountain of life for all your needs of the future. Take the fullness.

The Apostle Paul tells us of a wonderful mystery, and hopefully you will receive it. It is a secret the world has ignored. Wise men have sought to know it, and it is now made manifest to the saints. Paul preached this message in Rome, Italy, and it was received only by those who were spiritual enough to grasp it. This is it: “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27).

“And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He [Jesus] reconciled In the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for His body’s sake, which is the church: Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the Word of God; Even THE MYSTERY WHICH HATH BEEN HID FROM AGES AND FROM GENERATIONS, BUT NOW IS MADE MANIFEST TO HIS SAINTS: TO WHOM GOD WOULD MAKE KNOWN WHAT IS THE RICHES OF THE GLORY OF THIS MYSTERY AMONG THE GENTILES; WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom [the fear of God 1]; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to His working, which worketh in me mightily” (Col. 1:21-29).

The mystery of the ages is Christ working in us, and it is mighty because it is Him, not us. I share and will continue to share this mystery with you, and you and I must share this with the world. But it must be taken from God. If you are burdened with guilt, fear, and pride, try this secret of the ages. It will solve all your fears and all your lack of power over sin and temptation. Go to God. He will tell you “Christ in you,” in other words, the Word of God, the power of God, which is Christ in you! Flee from the very appearance of evil (I Thes. 5:22) and you will have victory, rest, peace, and the power with the blessing.

If you need healing, the secret is “Christ in you!” If you receive that secret, “Christ in you,” you will receive Him for your body, the same as you have received Him for your soul. If you do, you will become strong and well. Your energy and work for God will be boundless. When you take the Lord, your healing will be more than that! He gives you Himself, so you will no longer be conscious of pain. You have health. Jesus gives you this, if you are His servant. Christ is our wisdom. He is our understanding. He is God’s Word! The Word tells us that we are able to have His mind. “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we [saints] have the mind of CHRIST” (I Cor. 2:16).

Philippians 2:4-11 says, “Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

With the mind of Christ, we are able to cast down imaginations and bring into captivity every thought to His obedience. “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ [who is God]; And having in a readiness to revenge ALL disobedience, when your [our] obedience is fulfilled” (II Cor. 10:4-6). Christ will give you this mind of His. Take Him at His Word. He will be your mind. He will be your will. In Colossians 1:5, He says, “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of HIS WILL.” He will be our will: if you’re looking for blessing, just receive Christ the blessed. Instead of gifts, take the giver. If you want healing, take the healer. Don’t be half full. Be filled to the brim with Jesus. Let Jesus bless and carry you. Don’t wander, be anchored. Don’t plan, pray. Care not; let Him care for you. Let Jesus tell you what to do and what you need. Just praise the Lord without ceasing. Don’t try to use the Lord. Let Him use you. Do not work your works; work for the Lord and Him alone!

Christ called me to have power in Him and to use that power to do His work. The Lord has never failed me. He will never fail anyone! If you really want to be one with Him, begin by saying this prayer:

Prayer

My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.
