The Mystery of the Communion

by Tony Alamo

It was the time of the Passover, the celebration of the Jews, which commemorated the time when GOD, by Moses, delivered the Jews out of Egypt, which GOD cursed with ten devastating plagues1 and the opening of a dry path for the Jews to walk on through the Red Sea. After they had walked through, across, GOD closed the Red Sea upon the entire Egyptian army, drowning them all.2

Before leaving Egypt, every Jewish family was commanded to place the sign of the future cross in the blood of a young lamb, which was to be without spot or blemish, without sin like CHRIST, and the blood of each lamb was to be placed on the two door posts and the lintel of each house.3 The blood was symbolic of the BLOOD of CHRIST, the LAMB of GOD, “JESUS,” and the sign of the cross was symbolic of the cross where JESUS, in the future, would die and shed HIS BLOOD for the forgiveness of our sins, the atonement and the forgiveness of our sins.4

If Jews or Egyptians did not acknowledge the BLOOD of CHRIST on the future cross by the only begotten SON of GOD, GOD would and did kill the first born of everyone’s children who didn’t comply. If the blood of the lamb was there, the death angel would “pass over” them.5 After roasting the lamb, and eating it while standing, the Jews could leave Egypt.6 Again, this was symbolic of the death of JESUS, which would take place in the future (around two thousand years ago) at Easter. Easter and Passover are at the same time of year.

JESUS’ death was the death of the SAVIOR of the world, “the LAMB of GOD.” If GOD sees the BLOOD of the LAMB of GOD, “JESUS,” on your soul by faith, HE will pass over you. If you follow HIM and keep all of HIS commandments, you will live forever in Heaven. If you don’t, you will be tormented forever in the Lake of Fire.7

In Israel, it was the time of Passover when JESUS was crucified. HE was to be the atoning LAMB of GOD so our sins could be erased. There was a last supper where JESUS instructed HIS disciples to remember HIM and to commune with HIM after HIS death, burial, resurrection, and ascension into Heaven.8 Communion was not to be symbolic, but real. JESUS never told HIS disciples that this communion was a mere symbol, figure, or type. HE told them HE is the BREAD of LIFE, which came down from Heaven.9

Andrew, one of HIS disciples, said to HIM in John 6:9, “There is a lad here, which has five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many [five thousand men plus women and children]?” JESUS told HIS disciples to have the men (all the people) sit down on the grass. “And JESUS said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And JESUS took the loaves; and when HE had given thanks, HE distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would” (John 6:10-11). When they were filled, HIS disciples gathered up twelve baskets of fragments. This showed that it was JESUS, the living GOD, who fed all Israel with manna in the wilderness when HE delivered them out of Egypt. HE fed two to three million people manna from Heaven for forty years!10

Throngs of people followed HIM to Capernaum. JESUS told them, “You seek ME, not because you saw the miracles, but because you did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the SON of MAN shall give unto you: for HIM hath GOD the FATHER sealed. Then said they unto HIM, What shall we do, that we might work the works of GOD? [JESUS told them,] This is the work of GOD, that you believe on HIM whom HE hath sent…[They said, ‘Show us a sign.’] Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, HE gave them bread from Heaven to eat. Then JESUS said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from Heaven; but MY FATHER giveth you the true bread from Heaven. For the bread of GOD is HE which cometh down from Heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto HIM, LORD, evermore give us this bread. And JESUS said unto them, I am the BREAD of LIFE [these words are not symbolic]: he that cometh to ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on ME shall never thirst…I am that BREAD of LIFE. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from Heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from Heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is MY FLESH, which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us HIS FLESH to eat? Then JESUS said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except you eat the FLESH of the SON of MAN, and drink HIS BLOOD, you have no life in you” (John 6:26-35, 48-53). The Bible (KJV and the originals) tells us, “The life of the flesh is in the blood” (Leviticus 17:11).11 Therefore, we are forbidden to eat animals or anything else with blood. “Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set MY face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off [kill him] from among his people” (Leviticus 17:10).

”Except you eat the FLESH of the SON of MAN, and drink HIS BLOOD, you have no life in you. Whoso eateth MY FLESH, and drinketh MY BLOOD, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For MY FLESH is meat indeed, and MY BLOOD is drink indeed. He that eateth MY FLESH, and drinketh MY BLOOD, dwelleth in ME, and I in him. As the living FATHER hath sent ME, and I live by the FATHER: so he that eateth ME, even he shall live by ME” (John 6:53-57).

JESUS here is speaking of HOLY COMMUNION, whereby faith in that the unleavened matza, broken to pieces, is literally HIS BODY, and the grape juice (or wine), by faith, is HIS BLOOD. By faith the Jews ate manna from Heaven for forty years, and by faith JESUS fed thousands with a few loaves and fishes.

JESUS reversed the law of not drinking blood because it is impossible for the blood of animals to wash away sins or give humans everlasting life. “For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins” (Hebrews 10:4). However, faith in the HOLY COMMUNION converts the matza and wine or grape juice into the actual BODY and BLOOD of JESUS! All things are by faith.12 JESUS is not a kidder. HE IS NOT A LIAR! HE MEANS WHAT HE SAYS!

If JESUS, HIS BODY and HIS actual BLOOD, is in you, HE is alive in you, HE is in you by communion, HIS FLESH and HIS BLOOD, and by HIS WORD WHICH IS SPIRIT AND LIFE, all by faith! By faith in the communion, CHRIST comes to you with HIS love and HIS devotion. You must not have sin on your soul while taking communion—if you mix sin with the BODY and BLOOD of JESUS, you will die.13We must be Holy If we eat HIS FLESH and drink HIS BLOOD.14 HE says, “Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:20).

“The LORD JESUS the same night in which HE was betrayed took bread: And when HE had given thanks, HE brake it, and said, Take, eat: this [by faith] is MY BODY, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of ME. After the same manner also HE took the cup, when HE had supped, saying, This cup is the [literal] new testament in MY BLOOD: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of ME. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the LORD’S death till HE come” (I Corinthians 11:23-26). JESUS never said, “Look guys, all this is symbolic.” It, by your faith, is literal. By faith in the WORDS of JESUS, who is the WORD, we are able to eat the FLESH of JESUS and drink HIS BLOOD, to have HIS LIFE in us, and we are then in HIM! We must believe what JESUS says. HE said we must eat HIS FLESH and drink HIS BLOOD!

THE MYSTERY OF THE HOLY COMMUNION IS REVEALED SO THERE IS NO EXCUSE. SO SAY THIS PRAYER TO BE SAVED:

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11

Now that you are saved, serve GOD with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30).12 Be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.13 Diligently study the King James Version Bible and do what it says till the day you die.14

We print Pastor Alamo’s literature in many languages, and we ship it all over the world free of charge. We spend millions of dollars on paper and shipping, so we need your prayers and financial help.

If you want the world saved, as JESUS commands, then don’t rob GOD of HIS tithes and offerings. GOD said, “Will [you] rob GOD? Yet ye have robbed ME. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed THEE? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
