TOGETHER

by Tony Alamo

We shared our faith life on earth together, we walked in the HOLY SPIRIT together, we sat with JESUS in Heavenly places together, and together we shall all enter Heaven to live eternally.1 According to the Bible (KJV and the original versions), we are able to make it into Heaven if we live according to the WORD, which says together.2 This is GOD’S economy. Our churches have lived this way since 1964, and we have always prospered. We have always paid our bills. We have never gone hungry or needed a place to sleep. The song “Onward Christian Soldiers” tells it the same as the book of Acts. We are not divided: we are all one body.3

When GOD delivered HIS people out of Egypt, they all went out together. They were together in the wilderness. They were baptized together in the Red Sea, ate the same manna, and drank the same water from the rock, which was CHRIST (1 Corinthians 10:1-4). They lived together, ate together, and drank together. No one’s shoes wore out, nor did their clothes wear out either, and even when they were able to enter the Promised Land, they lived together as tribes.4 We are the Body of CHRIST, a nation of kings and priests (Revelation 1:5-6, 5:9-10).5

“I therefore, the prisoner of the LORD, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the SPIRIT in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one SPIRIT, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One LORD, one faith, one baptism, One GOD and FATHER of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given power according to the measure of the gift of CHRIST.

“Wherefore HE saith, When HE ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that HE ascended, what is it but that HE also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? HE that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that HE might fill all things.) And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of CHRIST” (Ephesians 4:1-12).

All Christians have to be perfect to enter Heaven.6 “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your FATHER which is in Heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48). “Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your GOD am holy” (Leviticus 19:2). “He that committeth sin is of the devil” (1 John 3:8).

JESUS asked Peter, “Who do people say that I am?” Peter answered HIM, saying, “THOU art the CHRIST, the SON of the living GOD” (Matthew 16:16). JESUS told Peter, “Flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but MY FATHER which is in Heaven” (Matthew 16:17). “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven” (Matthew 18:18). “Upon this rock [truth] I will build MY church; and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).

The original writings of the Bible, the Helenic Greek text, written and spoken by the Jews, does not use the word “church” but “ecclesia.” Both of these words mean the temple of GOD and JESUS, which is made up of us, the ones who were called out. We were called out of the world to be one together with CHRIST. 7 CHRIST is the head, we are the body, and JESUS is the Rock who sustains this temple (1 Corinthians 10:4). We, the temple of CHRIST, are the lively stones built upon JESUS, the Chief Cornerstone. “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF being the chief corner stone” (Ephesians 2:20). There are no splintered groups. Ephesians 4:5-6 states, “One LORD, one faith, one baptism, One GOD and FATHER of all [of all of us who are called-out], who is above all and [works] through all, and in you all [together].”

“And HE gave some [of us], apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of CHRIST: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the SON of GOD, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of CHRIST: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into HIM [CHRIST] in all things, which is the head, even CHRIST: From whom the whole body [temple—ecclesia] fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part [members of CHRIST’S Body], maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love” (Ephesians 4:11-16).

How could anyone grow up to this perfection, to the fulness of the stature of CHRIST, if they are not constantly with the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers on a daily basis? If you’re not with these dignitaries, then you are of the world, in the world. You are deceived because you are disobeying the WORD of GOD. This is the sin of disobedience, and it will surely send your soul to Hell and to the Lake of Fire. We must obey the WORD of GOD because HE lived a perfect life, died on the cross, and shed HIS blood so that we don’t have to go to Hell and the Lake of Fire.8

GOD’s economy for our life is clearly outlined here in the book of Acts, and throughout the Bible. We stay with the people of the temple or ecclesia because they rebuke and reprove us on a daily basis, helping us walk on the straight and narrow line of truth.9

In Matthew 7:13-14, JESUS said, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” This shows us that very few people will enter Heaven, and it tells us why. False churches are teaching their people that they can enter Heaven as sinners, which is not true.10 The truth is that if we are saved, we have become, by adoption, “the sons of GOD,11” and the sons of GOD are not sinners, so they can enter Heaven. There are only a few of us, but we must be without sin to be the bride of CHRIST, for the bride of CHRIST is without spot, without blemish, and without sin (Ephesians 5:25-27).12

Do you actually think the LORD our GOD would have a bride with even one sin in her? The answer is no (Ephesians 5:25-27, Revelation 19:7-8). To become spotless, the saints must live as the saints in the book of Acts lived, together. Chapter four, verse 12 of Ephesians states, “For the perfecting of the saints.”

When the disciples asked JESUS to teach them how to pray, JESUS never said “‘MY’ FATHER, which art in Heaven.” HE said, “OUR FATHER, which art in Heaven.” In other words, all the saints are together with their FATHER. Later in the prayer, HE said, “Give us (plural) this day our daily bread. Lead us (plural) not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

GOD came into this world as a man, lived a perfect life, then died on the cross, shedding His blood so that you don’t have to go to Hell. Do you actually think HE did this just to let you go to a false church, or maybe go to church on a Sunday or Wednesday, then go out for a chicken dinner and spend the rest of the week living a profane life? All those who believe such a lie will surely spend eternity in Hell and the Lake of Fire.

Don’t you think it’s much better for you to study the Scriptures and do what they say?13 One thing it tells us is not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together. “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins” (Hebrews 10:24-26). CHRIST only died once, and HE will not die a second time for you or anyone else.

JESUS says in Revelation 1:18, “I am HE that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of Hell and of death,” JESUS loves you so much, and HE has sent me to tell you the truth. Repent of your sins now by saying this prayer:

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11
