My name is Sabine Wedel. I have been with the Tony Alamo Christian Ministry for almost twelve years now. These have been the best years of my life. Here I am taught how to be a Christian and how to live a Christian life.

After I accepted the Lord as my personal Savior, the Tony Alamo Ministry offered me a place to live and to be around other Christians, to be taught and study the Word of God. Here all of my needs and those of my children are taken care of, our rent, food needs, personal care needs, and this also includes our dental and medical care needs. Pastor Tony Alamo makes sure that everyone in the ministry is being well cared for. He has the same mentality and compassion as Abraham, the Hebrew, as it mentions in the book of Jasher.

"And Abraham planted a large grove in Beersheba, and he made to it four gates facing the four sides of the earth, and he planted a vineyard in it, so that if a traveler came to Abraham he entered any gate which was in his road, and remained there and ate and drank and satisfied himself and then departed.

For the house of Abraham was always open to the sons of men that passed and repassed, who came daily to eat and drink in the house of Abraham.

And any man who had hunger and came to Abraham's house, Abraham would give him bread that he might eat and drink and be satisfied, and anyone that came naked to his house he would clothe with garments as he might choose, and give him silver and gold and make known to him the Lord who had created him in the earth, this did Abraham all his life" (Jasher XXII:11-13).

We all help each other here in this ministry as it is commanded in the Bible. We all (who are able to) work to help support the ministry. I help wherever I am needed, whether it has been in the mailroom sending out tracts to people around the world, helping to cook for others, babysitting, etc. I also remember helping to wrap presents the Pastor had the church sending to needy children and families in foreign countries, such as Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and to many others also here in this country. I have even helped to box up food items prepared to distribute to people’s homes at their request. Many times we receive letters and phone calls from people who need help with food items, personal hygiene needs, and sometimes bills they cannot pay, and the Tony Alamo Ministry is always ready to help. I'm so glad I can be part of this work.

Sincerely yours,

Sabine Wedel
