GOD IS OUR KING

The book of Judges 17:6 states, “In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” GOD is our KING. HE leads, guides, and directs obedient followers by HIS HOLY SPIRIT and HIS WORD.1 There is no king that can lead us like our KING GOD does, because they cannot send the HOLY SPIRIT to dwell within us as HE can. Humans cannot lead, guide, or direct us as KING GOD does. A human king does not have the capacity to hear our prayers, our thoughts, or know our intentions at all times as GOD does.2 He is human himself, carnal, and not supernatural, all-knowing, omnipresent and limitless as our GOD.
After sending Moses back to Egypt, the LORD told Moses, “Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: And I will take you to ME for a people, and I will be to you a GOD: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your GOD, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for an heritage: I am the LORD” (Exodus 6:6-8).
The GOD of Israel kept HIS promise, as HE always does. But four hundred years later after this was fulfilled, the Jews wanted to be like the Gentiles. They wanted to have a human king over them rather than the ALMIGHTY GOD who delivered them and guided them out of the iron furnace of Egypt.3 A human king cannot turn water into blood as KING GOD did in Egypt, or send nine other plagues to Egypt as KING GOD did4 Nor can he open the Red Sea and, by his spirit, cause all of Israel to pass through it on dry ground (Exodus 14:13-31). A human king cannot provide food (manna) from Heaven or water from a rock for forty years for over 3 million people, as KING GOD did.5
The request for a human king which the Jews had made after experiencing what GOD did for them was infuriating to GOD. The LORD told the Prophet Samuel, “Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected ME, that I should not reign over them” (1 Samuel 8:7).
GOD told them if they were going to have a human king, they had to have a godly king, one that would be chosen by KING GOD HIMSELF, one that could be trusted to do what KING GOD told him and the entire nation of Israel to do. HIS instructions for this are found in Deuteronomy 17:14-15, which says, “When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy GOD giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me; Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy GOD shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.”
A king must not lead his people back into bondage like the bondage of Egypt. He cannot lead his people into sin. He must not teach them that they can partake in same-sex marriage and must not condone abortion, which is first degree murder. He must not condone fornication or adultery, or lead people into false religion. He must teach the people to be obedient to GOD and all of HIS commandments so that the nation can be blessed.
The instructions from GOD were that the king must be an Israelite, a Jew from one of the twelve tribes of Israel, not an unbelieving Gentile. This would be someone like King David, who sought the LORD with his whole heart. GOD chose David, but HE first chose Saul. Saul constantly disobeyed GOD and later attempted to kill David, whom GOD had Samuel anoint to replace Saul as king.6 The Prophet Samuel told Saul, “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, HE hath also rejected thee from being king” (1 Samuel 15:23).
GOD took HIS blessing and protection off of Saul, and allowed an evil spirit to torment him.7 Scripture states, “But the SPIRIT of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him” (1 Samuel 16:14).
Saul never recovered or repented of his rebellion and sins. Near the end of his life, although he had previously removed all witches, mediums, and spiritists out of the land, he sought out a witch to bring up the Prophet Samuel in a futile attempt to find out what was going to happen to him and Israel.8 And when the witch did so, Samuel appeared to her, which frightened her. The spirit of Samuel told Saul that he and his sons would die in battle the next day (1 Samuel 28:6-25). That very next day, Saul and his sons were killed in battle, just as the spirit of Samuel had stated (1 Samuel 31:1-6).
This tells us that we cannot ignore GOD’S commandments, one of which is to never seek fortune tellers, mediums, or people with familiar spirits, which is an abomination to GOD.9 No matter what GOD says, do it! We are never to have an ungodly king or leader ruling over us! An ungodly person doesn’t believe it is sin to disobey GOD.
First John 3:8 says, “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning [in Heaven, Satan became full of pride, violence, and thought he could be like GOD; then he told Eve that GOD was a liar and he was speaking the truth about eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil]. For this purpose the SON of GOD was manifested, that HE might destroy the works of the devil.”
The satanic world government has woven itself into every major industry, the international monetary system, and almost all sovereign governments to bring them under the control of the one-world beast government. Now they are going after total control over all religions, so that the government religion will be the only religion allowed by Satan.10 The WORD of GOD speaks of the last days that we are living in: “And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed” (Revelation 13:12-15).
If you fear Satan rather than GOD, you will do what Satan wants you to do. But if you fear GOD, you will do only what GOD approves.11 Believe GOD and live! The Bible says that the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom and is wisdom.12
Many of the presidents of the United States were not GOD’S choice to be our king. No other ungodly world leaders were GOD’S choice. We see this today, where the world leaders think it is wrong to do GOD’S will, and they slander all those who speak out against sin and wickedness, calling them “haters.” How can anyone who condones lying, homosexuality, abortion, homicide, and all the other sins that the hierarchy of the world commits and approves of today be of GOD, and how can we allow such people as these to rule over us?
Some people say that they want to vote for a president because he gives them free food, and other financial benefits. Will you sell your soul for food or other benefits, as did Esau, who lost his birthright for a bowl of lentils?13 Why don’t you instead serve GOD? HE will take care of you and bless you when you trust HIM and do HIS will.
Again, Judges 17:6 states, “In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” The situation is the same today. There are very few godly rulers that are reigning in the world today. People are doing what is right in their own eyes. They won’t do what GOD commands because they love darkness and their sins. JESUS said, “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil” (John 3:19).
They’re all wrapped up in false religions, ungodly music, food, alcohol, drugs, sex, money, and power. What will self-willed people do when they stand alone before a holy GOD on Judgment Day?14 You know there will be a day of reckoning, don’t you? What a crude awakening it will be for billions of people when they find out they sold their eternal souls for short-lived, worthless things!15 Anything or anyone in your life who gets priority over GOD is an idol.16
“Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep HIS testimonies, and that seek HIM with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity: they walk in HIS ways. THOU hast commanded us to keep THY precepts diligently” (Psalms 119:1-4). Precepts are the rule of moral conduct. It is not a precept of GOD to dishonor marriage. It is not a precept of GOD to dishonor godly men and women by attacking them because they keep GOD’S precepts.
It is not a godly precept to be fearful and unbelieving. Revelation 21:8 says, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
The Psalmist David stated, “O that my ways were directed to keep THY statutes [GOD’S commandments]! Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto ALL THY commandments” (Psalm 119:5-6). Believing in GOD means to do what HE commands and never abandon GOD’S ways.
We are at the end of time, and it’s time for you to make the most important decision of your entire life. This is the decision that will determine where your soul will spend eternity—Heaven or Hell.17 There are no other options. If you want to be in Heaven, you must be spiritually born again of GOD’S SPIRIT. JESUS said, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of GOD” (John 3:3). Then, keep the commandments in the Bible to the end.18 JESUS stated, “And ye shall be hated of all men for MY name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 10:22).
When you make JESUS your LORD, HE will wash you clean of every past sin with HIS blood that was shed on the cross as a sacrifice for us. “If the SON therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).
Start out now by first saying this prayer. Then be baptized, fully submerged in water in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT. Study HIS WORD daily and do what it says.
Prayer
My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11
After salvation, JESUS said to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.12 Then study the King James Version Bible, and, for your benefit and the benefit of others, do what it says.13
CHRIST and GOD the FATHER now live in you through the HOLY SPIRIT. There is a way you can receive a fuller portion of the divine nature of GOD in you. The more the divine nature of GOD lives in you, the more you will be able to stand against the temptations that have so easily moved so many millions of Christians away from salvation. In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
