I WILL RAISE YOU UP AT THE LAST DAY

During the exodus of the nation of Israel from slavery in Egypt, GOD demonstrated that HE truly is the all-powerful GOD by feeding all of Israel bread from Heaven, called “manna,” and giving them water out of rock for the forty years that they traveled through the wilderness.1 JESUS later demonstrated that HE was that very same GOD who came to the world in the flesh as a man, by feeding a multitude of five thousand men, not including women and children (Matthew 14:13-21). HE multiplied five loaves of bread and two fishes and all were filled. Scripture also records the multiplication of seven loaves of bread and a few fish that fed four thousand men plus women and children (Matthew 15:32-38).

In the desert wilderness, there was no one who would have barley loaves and fish for JESUS to bless and multiply for everyone. GOD had the manna appear on the ground every morning six days a week (Exodus 16:11-18). There was just enough for one day during the first five days. On the sixth day, these six hundred thousand fighting men, plus women and children, were also given enough for the following day which was the Sabbath of rest commanded by GOD (Exodus 16:22-26).2

During the time of JESUS’ ministry on earth, HE told HIS disciples to have the multitude sit down on the grass (John 6:10). JESUS took the loaves; “and when HE had given thanks, HE distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, HE said unto HIS disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten. [Only GOD the FATHER had, on a larger scale, done something like this.] When JESUS perceived that they would come and take HIM by force, to make HIM a king, HE departed again into a mountain HIMSELF alone” (John 6:11-13, 15).

After HE and HIS disciples went to Capernaum, the multitude that HE had fed the day before found HIM. HE let them know that they had missed the point of HIM feeding them. HE, in so many words, said, You’re not seeking ME because I AM GOD [in human flesh], and you saw ME prove it, but because you were fed and were filled (John 6:27). Don’t work only for what you can put in your belly. One of these days, you’re going to die, and what good will that be? What good will the food you put in your belly do for you on that day?

The people then asked HIM, “What shall we do, that we might work the works of GOD? JESUS answered and said unto them, This is the work of GOD, that you believe on HIM whom HE has sent” (John 6:28-29).

But they all missed the point. They wanted, as people do today, to have HIM show them a sign.3 People today say, “Give us more bread, fill our stomachs, or give us money,” instead of saying they have faith in JESUS as GOD who came into the world in the flesh to save their eternal souls!4

They said to JESUS, “What sign do YOU show us that we may see and believe YOU?...Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from Heaven to eat [as though Moses gave them bread from Heaven to eat. JESUS answering them, said,] Moses didn’t give you that bread from Heaven; but MY FATHER gives you the true BREAD from Heaven. For the BREAD of GOD is HE which comes down from Heaven [by the HOLY SPIRIT into the virgin Mary’s womb] and gives life unto the world” (John 6:30-33).

They said, “LORD, evermore give us this bread” (John 6:34). JESUS, in so many words, told them that if they believed what HE said, then HE becomes the bread of life to them, but only if they believe what HE says. “I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE. He that comes to ME shall never hunger; and he that believes on ME [that I AM GOD, the WORD, the BREAD OF LIFE] shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen ME [and MY miracles, and heard what I’ve said], and [you] believe not. All that the FATHER gives ME will come to ME [JESUS is saying, GOD the FATHER obviously has not given you to ME because you do not come to ME for eternal life. If you don’t have faith in ME, it’s because MY FATHER hasn’t given it to you. If the FATHER gives anyone to ME] I will in no wise cast [him] out.

“For I came down from Heaven, not to do MY own will, but the will of HIM that sent ME. And this is the FATHER’S will which has sent ME, that of all which HE has given ME I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of HIM that sent ME, that every one which seeth the SON, and believeth on HIM, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:35-40).

“The Jews [who the FATHER obviously didn’t give to JESUS] then murmured at HIM, because HE [THE WORD OF GOD5] said, I am the BREAD which came down from Heaven. And they said, Is not this JESUS, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that HE saith, I came down from Heaven?” (John 6:41-42).

JESUS told them again, You cannot come to ME because the FATHER has not sent you to ME! “No man can come to ME, except the FATHER that has sent ME draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:43-44).

Deuteronomy 4:9-13 tells us, “Only take heed to yourselves, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life: but teach them to your sons, and your sons’ sons; Specially the day you stood before the LORD thy GOD in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me [Moses], Gather ME the people together, and I will make them hear MY WORDS, that they may learn to fear ME all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

“And you came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of Heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness. And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: you heard the voice of the WORDS….And HE declared unto you HIS covenant, which HE commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and HE wrote them upon two tables of stone.”

JESUS said HE didn’t come to destroy or do away with the moral law. HE came to fulfill it, to keep it, and to show us we are to keep it also if we are to be members of HIS body, born again of the SPIRIT of GOD (Matthew 5:17).6

JESUS told the devil who tried to tempt JESUS after HIS forty-day fast in the wilderness that “man does not live by bread only but [by the BREAD OF LIFE, which is JESUS, THE WORD], by every WORD which proceeds from the MOUTH OF GOD” (Matthew 4:4).

Deuteronomy 4:30-31 states, “When you are in tribulation, and all these things are come upon you, even in the latter days, if you turn to the LORD thy GOD, and shall be obedient to HIS voice; (for the LORD thy GOD is a merciful GOD;) HE will NOT forsake you, neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which HE swear unto them.”

How could we possibly get closer to GOD, THE WORD than to eat HIS FLESH and drink HIS BLOOD? HE said if we don’t, we have no life in us. “JESUS said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the SON of Man, and drink HIS blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For MY flesh is meat indeed, and MY blood is drink indeed. He that eateth MY flesh, and drinketh MY blood, dwelleth in ME, and I in him. As the living FATHER hath sent ME, and I live by the FATHER: so he that eateth ME, even he shall live by ME. This is that bread which came down from Heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever” (John 6:53-58).

In the life of every Christian, everything we do is by faith.7 The LORD tells us to do something, and we do it. If someone tells you, “No one is perfect,” they are lying. You’d better be perfect! Only those without sin get into Heaven.8 People who say, “No one is perfect” are those who falsely say water baptism saves you.9 The forgiveness of sins through the blood sacrifice of JESUS is what saves us.10 They are not speaking by the SPIRIT of GOD, but by the spirit of the devil. If they did, they wouldn’t say those false things. They are Satan’s evangelists, those who say GOD is weak and the devil is strong.

Don’t believe them. Consume the WORD of GOD. You will be strong! Stay away from all unscriptural, negative talk that brings doubt rather than faith. Do not receive ungodly beliefs from the government, from the media, from television programming, or from all of the secular school systems that indoctrinate you. Eat the FLESH and drink the BLOOD of JESUS by prayerfully reading the Bible and doing what the WORD says.

Keep busy bringing others to salvation and discipling them. Distribute my free gospel literature, preach the gospel to everyone you can, bring souls to the knowledge of JESUS the MESSIAH, and stay in prayer to GOD through JESUS only, not through Mary, and not through other departed saints. Keep partaking of Holy Communion.11

If you’re not born again of the HOLY SPIRIT yet, then start now by saying this prayer:

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11

After salvation, JESUS said to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.12 Then study the King James Version Bible, and, for your benefit and the benefit of others, do what it says.13

CHRIST and GOD the FATHER now live in you through the HOLY SPIRIT. There is a way you can receive a fuller portion of the divine nature of GOD in you. The more the divine nature of GOD lives in you, the more you will be able to stand against the temptations that have so easily moved so many millions of Christians away from salvation. Pray for the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT.14 For instructions on how to receive the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT and to receive more of GOD’S holy nature, ask for our literature or call. For without holiness, no man shall see GOD (Hebrews 12:14).

If you want the world saved, as JESUS commands, then don’t rob GOD of HIS tithes and offerings. GOD said, “Will a man rob GOD? Yet ye have robbed ME. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed THEE? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
