ARE YOU READY?

The WORD of GOD is GOD (John 1:1, 14, Revelation 19:13). Therefore, we are able to trust everything IT says, which is everything HE says, with all our hearts, souls, minds, and might. The WORD, which is GOD, tells us, “There was war in Heaven [Lucifer, also called Satan, the devil, and the Great Red Dragon, convinced one third of GOD’S angels to listen to him instead of GOD, who created them. He decided to fight GOD the FATHER, GOD the SON (JESUS), and GOD the HOLY SPIRIT, as well as the two thirds of the holy angels which remained with GOD.1]: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in Heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:7-9).
As the Apostle John stood upon the sand of the sea, he “saw a beast [symbolic of today’s world power] rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy…and the dragon [the devil] gave him his power [his power is to lie, destroy, and to murder (John 10:10); by deception he gave this world its evil power], and his seat [which is Rome], and great authority [over the nations by forming the United Nations, which also put an end to the sovereignty of the United States, our U.S. Constitution, our Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence. This evil world power, GOD said, is the devil’s very temporary kingdom]…and all the world wondered after the beast. [All the deceived people of the earth worshipped the devil. This is happening today, at the very end of time!] And they [the whole world, except for we who are saints] worshipped the dragon [they actually worship Satan like you see them doing today] which gave power unto the beast [the world government]: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto [this one-world government power which GOD calls] the beast [dog and pig]? who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:1-4). We true Christians, the saints, are able to make war with him! And we do! But our weapons are not carnal, but SPIRITUAL (2 Corinthians 10:4).
“And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies [this is Satan’s world media]; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he [this world government, world power, called the beast] opened his mouth in blasphemy against GOD, to blaspheme HIS NAME, and HIS TABERNACLE [which are HIS saints, where GOD in JESUS lives in us2], and them that [live] in HEAVEN. And it was given unto him [this last Gentile world government3] to make war with the saints [some of them he will overcome, but the saints of GOD shall ultimately OVERCOME him!]” (Revelation 13:5-7).
And they (we who are the saints) overcame him by the BLOOD of the LAMB, and the WORD of their testimony; and they love not living the life that they formerly lived until the day they die (Revelation 12:11).
So we find ourselves in a war! We are in a war, which means we must fight.4 The enemy we fight is also GOD’S enemy. How are we to be able to fight GOD’S enemy, our enemy, and the enemy of all those who are living in HEAVEN? We certainly must prepare ourselves. I was in the Navy at the age of sixteen in San Diego, California (USNTC, United States Naval Training Center, also at Camp Elliot). I belonged to the best company that had gone through boot camp in over seventy years. We were Company 869. My serial number was 5555129. Check me out! We trained with M1s, carbines, Thompson .45 caliber machine guns, BAR (Browning automatic rifles) on bipods, and .45 caliber pistols. We went through rigorous training. After boot camp, I was stationed at North Island, San Diego, but later was honorably discharged because of my eye trouble. If troops must train, learn the Bluejacket’s Manual, learn the art of warfare, and combat skills, how much more important should it be for you to fight not for your temporal life here, but for your eternal life and soul, for the place where your soul will spend eternity, the place where the souls of all the people in the world you influence with the Gospel will spend eternity?
In the sixth chapter of Ephesians, Paul the Apostle says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the LORD, and in the POWER of HIS MIGHT [the HOLY SPIRIT]. Put on the whole armor of GOD, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. [The devil is the condemned evil spirit that influences humans, using them against the works of GOD and the children of GOD.] For we wrestle [fight] not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:10-12).
You may ask how to fight such evil. You may wonder how anyone can put on the whole armor of GOD. It is easy, but it takes faith and discipline.5 However, it’s more than worth it!6 “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of GOD, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:13). Doing all to stand means studying the WORD of GOD, praying for GOD’S direction, and praying for the fear of the LORD, which is wisdom and understanding.7 This comes only from a continuous study of the WORD of GOD.8 Putting on the whole armor of GOD is finding out, from the SPIRIT of GOD, what it is HE wants you to study. I ask GOD what HE wants me to do, what HE wants me to study, or if HE wants me to write. If HE wants me to write, I ask HIM, “What do YOU want me to write?” I pray, “My FATHER, LORD JESUS, what in this passage do YOU want me to expound upon?” Putting on the whole armor of GOD means simply that we must know all of the WORD of GOD, and we can’t know it if we don’t study it all of the time! This means no television, no games, and no diversions. Remember, you are doing this for the place your soul will spend eternity!
“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with TRUTH, and having on the breastplate of righteousness [The TRUTH is JESUS, the WORD of GOD (John 1:1, 14), and the breastplate of righteousness is simply knowing the WORD of GOD so you are able to keep GOD’S commandments. JESUS said, If you say you love HIM, keep HIS commandments (John 14:23). “Hereby we do know that we know HIM, if we keep HIS commandments. He that saith, I know HIM, and keepeth not HIS commandments, is a liar, and [I, JESUS] the TRUTH [am] not in him” (1 John 2:3-4).]; And [have] your feet shod with the preparation of the GOSPEL of peace [peace with GOD]; Above all, taking the shield of faith [faith in JESUS, who is the WORD of GOD.9 “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing [by the study of] the WORD of GOD” (Romans 10:17)], wherewith you shall be able to quench ALL the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation [know you are saved by knowing what the LORD, the WORD means], and the SWORD of the SPIRIT, which [again] is the WORD of GOD” (Ephesians 6:14-17).
We are at war, and we must endure to the end, fight a good fight, and finish the course (Mark 13:13).10 The WORD of GOD tells us that the spirit of the devil has given his temporary power to the beast world government, churches, and media, so in order to overcome, we must live in CHRIST, which is the HOLY SPIRIT. Prepare yourself. Start now by saying this prayer to GOD through CHRIST:
Prayer
My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11
You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up your cross daily and follow JESUS for the purpose of mortifying your flesh, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of CHRIST.
Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of CHRIST. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God with Christ on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for GOD in CHRIST on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the WORD of GOD, submit yourselves one to another, and do what the WORD says so that the church and the world may see evidence of your submission to GOD’S WORD, HIS order, and HIS authority in and by you.
Praise the LORD. May GOD bless and reward you abundantly.
