BAPTISM

by Tony Alamo

Few people in the world understand what true baptism is all about. Because of this, most people are without salvation, and many people who once were saved have fallen away since they did not continue walking with Christ in baptism, leaving their faith just like the disciples in John 6:66 left Christ and their baptism, choosing to no longer walk with Him. These disciples became antichrists.1

Jesus plainly stated, "He that believeth AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED; but he that believeth not shall be damned."2 This truth, spoken by Christ Himself, who is the Truth, should be clear to anyone who can read or hear. 3 Christ is not talking about water baptism at all. Unfortunately, the world believes that the token outward act of water baptism can save their souls and keep them saved. This is not true. The truth of salvation by faith in Christ and by His baptism is clear in God’s holy Word. The outward baptism or immersion in water is merely an outward symbol of the true baptism or regeneration, which happens inwardly. 4 This inward condition of baptism must first take place before any convert can be considered a candidate for the outward baptism of immersion in water. The rite of water baptism is a ceremony in Christian churches for those who have been internally regenerated and have entered into the communion of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection by God’s actual life entering them.

The command of Jesus was that those who are to be baptized in water must previously have been made "the sons of God" by God’s life in them.5 No church hierarchy has the right to modify or dispense with this command of Christ, because the pattern of everything was given by Him to the New Testament church for the duration of the world.6 This rite proclaims the fact that the believers have received the life of God in Christ in the Spirit into their spirits. These are disciples and this is inward baptism.7

Water baptism is an ordinance instituted by Christ, just as being a witness for Christ is an ordinance to disperse His Word into others.8 It has been practiced by the apostles9 and the members of the New Testament churches from the day of Pentecost until the day of Christ’s second return.10

Baptism, regeneration, is the promise found in these words of Christ: "If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make Our abode with him."11 "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."12 "I will put My law IN their inward parts, and write it IN their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people."13

Jesus spoke to Nicodemus regarding this true internal baptism, saying "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."14 This means that our old lives and the world must be done away with, crucified and kept buried under water in the death of Christ’s crucifixion and burial.15 Then we must resurrect from death by the Holy Spirit by the life of God in Christ in us.16 If this born again of the Spirit experience does not happen to us, we will not be able to see the kingdom of Heaven.17

"God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth."18 Knowledge is of the mind, but salvation, regeneration, or baptism must occur in the Spirit by the life of God living in our spirits.18A We are the image of Christ, His body, created specifically for Him to live in.18B The devil has the knowledge of the Bible, but it is only an intellectual knowledge. His heart does not love the things of God. Therefore, they are not received into his heart. Hence, he can never be born again of the Spirit by the life of God in Christ and he was never created for God to live in as man was. By our faith and our love for the entire inward baptism experience and for its continuation in us, the very life of God enters into us, His image, moving us from our carnal life and world into God’s spiritual realm, His life and His world.19 This is being "born again of the Spirit."20 This is inward baptism, the baptism of God’s life in us, which is what Jesus meant in Mark 16:16.21

Our faith in this inward baptism makes us one in God’s life in Christ.22 This inward baptism is our oneness with God. This inward baptism makes us the bride of Christ, the Church, Christ’s body, and God’s house, the new Jerusalem, "prepared as a bride adorned for her husband [Christ]."23 How ignorant are those who feel that water baptism is salvation. They may think ignorance is bliss on this side of eternity, but God’s salvation and righteousness does not and will never honor or deliver a person on the day of judgment for their deliberate ignorance or deliberate stupidity.24

God’s heavenly realm is the opposite of the carnal world.25 If we must learn about the carnal world, which is temporary, in order to get along in it, then how much more must we learn about God’s invisible, spiritual realm, which is eternal, in order to get along with Him in it and abide there forever? We are only saved by getting out of the carnal world and entering God’s heavenly realm so that God’s life may live in us while our bodies are used by Him for His purpose during our lifetime here in the carnal world.26

The Apostle Paul puts it this way: "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore, we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection."27 This is true baptism, which is also true regeneration, salvation.

Ezekiel chapter forty-seven talks about a river flowing from the throne of God. Jesus told of this in the New Testament: "Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."28

This inward baptism or regeneration by God’s life entering our spirit, which Jesus spoke of in verse six of the twenty-first chapter of the book of Revelation, is a continuous baptism of God’s life in us, perpetuated by our prayerful studying of His Word and our receiving it in our hearts. In this way we will receive His instructions into not only our mind but more importantly into our hearts, because God’s Spirit and God’s life needs to be not in our mind, but in our spirit in order for life to occur in our spirit. That life, the seed, the Word of God, must enter our spirit. God’s life entering into our spirit gives us our very eternal life.29 Here the same scripture speaks of the water of life, which is Christ, who floods our old world by our faith in Him. Then God’s very life, which is Christ, enters our spirit, giving us the life of God in us.30

The life and the Word of God is Christ. 31 Christ is also He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit, as well as the resurrection. 32 As we study Him, the Word, we are kept strong and continuously baptized by God’s life in us. 33 "For if we be dead [to the world] with Him, we shall also live with Him [eternally]." 34

The holy Word of God states that before we are regenerated we are "dead in trespasses and sins."35 The Word of God says that "the dead [the unregenerated] know not any thing."36 This should deflate the ego of every unsaved human being. When it comes to the important matter of the spiritual world, they know nothing at all.37

It is of the utmost importance that the following commandment of Jesus be followed to the letter. That commandment is: "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved."38 What are mere men that they should disbelieve their Creator’s Word? It is only by the acceptance of God’s Word that we are saved.39 Having faith in Jesus means having faith in everything that He said and commanded. We show our faith in what He commands by doing what He says.40

According to God’s Word, faith is not enough. "The devils also believe [have faith], and tremble [but they are not saved because they are not baptized. The life of God is not alive and functioning in them]. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?"41 Without God’s life living and working in us, our faith is as dead as the faith of devils.

God commands His children to do things that are impossible for unbaptized, unregenerated, unsaved people to do, such as keep His moral law.42 Keeping the moral law and doing all the other things that God commands is extremely easy for those of us who are inwardly baptized, regenerated. That is because it is God Himself in us who is actively doing it.43

When the Apostle Paul said, "I die daily,"44 he meant that his old life and world are dead and buried daily by his will being the same as God’s will. In other words, he places himself in Christ’s death on the cross, in Christ’s very same burial, and in Christ’s very same resurrection on a daily basis. By doing this, the Apostle Paul fulfilled Christ’s first command to every regenerated, baptized Christian: "Take up his cross daily, and follow Me."45 Christ stated also, "He that taketh not his cross, and followeth after Me, is not worthy of Me."46

The Lord commands us to "Love not the world." 47 When Adam fell, a door was opened for a new world order. In the garden of Eden, everything was provided for Adam, his wife, and their future children. 48 When they broke God’s commandment they broke communion with Him.49 That is why God put them out of the garden of Eden and into the world.50 The provisions that God supplied to them such as food, protection, and a blessed, immortal life without death, old age, sickness, or disease were no longer provided for them. A wall of partition was raised between God and man.51

Adam and his seed then had to work for their food,52 make weapons to protect themselves, and manufacture joy and pleasantries to entertain themselves with rather than gain their food, protection, and joy through their communion with God.53 They also had to get old and die.54 This was the beginning of Satan’s world order.

The weapons for man’s defense are now awesome in power. It is during this present time that the world order has accelerated its demise with weapons of defense that are powerful enough to destroy the entire earth, and pleasantries more than strong enough to destroy man’s eternal soul as well as enough food and drink to keep man’s mind on rather than on the bread and water of life.55 We must work continuously in order to feed ourselves. In an attempt to find joy and peace, billions are spent each year on satanic, hollow entertainment and on weapons to protect ourselves. However, those who are unsaved feel more vulnerable than ever.

Babylon is the exact opposite of God’s safety, protection, joy, happiness, peace, and everlasting life. Now the world order, Babylon, has matured and ripened unto its full growth, the state that God said it would be in just before it is destroyed on the eve of His second coming.56 The world order has now become the image of "BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." 57 The Lord warns us of this in a command: "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him."58

The Lord commands us to "Come out of her [out of the world system, Babylon], My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."59 The life of God in us baptizes or severs us from Babylon, the world order, because Babylon is dead and buried with our former lives by the same baptism. 60

The life of God which gives us the gift of "eternal life" in Christ’s resurrection is not to be confused with another gift given by God through the same Spirit, the gift of the "baptism in the Holy Spirit."61 The baptism of the Holy Spirit is one of the many operations of the Holy Spirit that are separate and distinct from our initial baptism, regeneration, salvation.62

The difference between the baptism into Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, which gives us the gift of eternal life, and the gift of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is partially made clear in Acts 1:5: "For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence." Jesus was instructing regenerated disciples, those who had already been saved. This scripture makes it clear that at that very time the disciples were saved they had not yet been baptized with the gift of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Lord promised His regenerated, saved disciples that they would be baptized (with the baptism of the Holy Spirit) not many days hence.

Jesus told His disciples this truth in John 15:3: "Now ye are clean [saved] through the Word which I have spoken unto you."63 Again, this shows that they were already inwardly baptized, saved, regenerated. The life of God in Christ in the Spirit had been planted, watered, and increased in them. "God gave the increase" 64 on the day of Pentecost, when they were given another gift for the growth of the church and the ministry, the building.65 This was the baptism in the Holy Spirit. I Peter 1:23 states that becoming clean through the Word means "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible [clean seed, which is] the Word of God, which [by our faith in God’s life] liveth and abideth [in us] for ever." This is what Paul planted: "Apollos watered; but God gave the increase [the growth for the body, the building, which is for Christ]."66 Before that, Jesus had stated to His disciples, "He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all."67 This last part refers to Judas.

There are many more scriptures that tell us that the gift of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is different than the gift of eternal life.68 All those ministering today without the life of God in them or without the baptism in the Holy Spirit are vessels wherein the activity and growth of God cannot be found.69 Even though they may possess the knowledge of God, knowledge is only of the mind. Life is only in the seed which is planted, watered by the Word, and miraculously given the growth by the Spirit of God which is incorporated within the Word received in the heart or the spirit. Without the gift of the baptism in the Holy Spirit, we do not have the power of God’s life in us and are unable to plant the seed of life by the Spirit. We may possess the knowledge, but "knowledge puffeth up."70 The Spirit brings forth life.71 Those ministering by knowledge, and not by the Spirit are not regenerated. They cannot give life to others, a thing they themselves do not possess. Without God’s life living in us and the gift of the baptism in the Holy Spirit, we would be unable to joyfully and peacefully endure the persecutions, fiery trials, and tribulations that come to everyone who has the life of God actively living, growing, and working in them.72

I Peter, third chapter tells us how "the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water [and the rest of the world was crucified, buried by that same water]. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ."73 Peter stated that nothing but our going through the inward baptism can and will save us. Again Jesus stated, "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."74

Peter believes strongly in our salvation through this inward baptism, just as he believed in the salvation of Noah and his family by baptism. This salvation was seen when Noah and his family who believed in God, were saved from the world, which was crucified, baptized, and buried by the water.75 Noah and his family were resurrected out of it by rising above that same water by the same baptism. This baptism prefigured the future work that the Holy Spirit would do in the lives of men after Christ’s death, burial, resurrection, and ascension into Heaven. They were in the ark, which is symbolic of Christ’s life saving us from the world.76 This shows the condemnation of God to the world and all that is therein, His burial of it, and His salvation, which is given to those who are godly by Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

After the Babylonian world order is done away with by Christ, God’s kingdom will reign forevermore.77 The end of Babylon, the world order, will be by the stone [Christ] which was cut out without hands [the uncreated God Himself].78 It shall smite "the image [figure of Babylon] upon his feet that were of iron and clay and brake them to pieces."79 Christ shall destroy the ability of this kingdom to continue any further.80 Christ will lead the victorious new nation of true believers, those who have persevered by their faith and by their baptism.81 This is the stone which will shatter Satan, his kingdom, his order of things in the world, and those members of mankind that follow his proud image, "Babylon." 82 And at this time, "the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever."83

We know this present world system that we live in is that doomed, condemned kingdom, Babylon.84 We are living in a condemned world. The life of God in us is kept alive and grows every day by the Word of God, which is Spirit and life, the tree of life.85 Eternal death is found by living according to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the world system, and man’s knowledge. This includes politics, education, literature, so-called science, 86 art, commerce,87 music, vice, and the computerized machine age, which is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

After Christ’s death on the cross, which included nailing the old world and everything to do with it on the cross, He resurrected from the dead and ascended "into Heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto Him."88 "And hath raised us up together [with Him there by His baptism into His death, His burial, and His resurrection unto life], and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus."89 God set His Son supreme above everything, and made all authorities His subjects.90

The Lord commanded every disciple to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.91 That is, we are to sow the seed of God’s Spirit and life into every person so that those who believe everything Christ said and did are baptized into His death, burial, and resurrected life92 They shall be saved, regenerated, BAPTIZED.93

The Apostle John, in the book of Revelation, was carried away by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness.94 The seventh angel showed him Satan’s world system, Babylon, which Jesus calls "THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."95 The kind of abomination this world system is filled with is the abomination of blasphemy.96 The kings of the world have committed these abominations [the worst kind of unforgivable sin]. The world leaders in politics,97 carnal religion,98 and commerce,99 by joining the great whore in her blasphemies, have influenced the inhabitants of the earth to partake or drink till they are "drunk with the wine of her fornication," which again are blasphemies against God and God’s children.100 They believe in the world system rather than in God’s system. They believe in the life in this present world rather than eternal life in God’s heavenly world.101 This is unfortunate for them.

At the time of the hour when the world system’s blasphemy will reach its peak (and that hour is at hand), every aspect of it will be revealed to be anti-Christian and anti-Christ to those whose eyes are opened.102 This is the evil wine which the Bible speaks of that causes the entire population of the world to blaspheme God by believing the world system and its satanic doctrines over the living, holy Word of God, which is fulfilled daily by the hundreds of end-time prophecies that have come to pass.103 They are drunk with the fornication of her blasphemy, meaning they have no sense because of the damnable nonsense that has been propagandized into them, which includes the untruths told to them by the mass media about how powerful the world order is and how weak Almighty God is.104 This fornication, this blasphemy, causes the entire world to believe the hallucination that the world system is something other than a condemned, doomed, and finished work of Satan, a work comprised of deceived humans whose human brains have been filled to the top with the preposterous ideas that have emanated from their master, the devil, through his mentally deranged servants in the world.

The idea of Babylon and of building the tower of Babel into Heaven are both Satan’s foolish pipedreams.C God destroyed Babel and put the confusion of languages upon them. Babylon will simply burn.105 "The foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men."106 God also states, "Vain man would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass’s colt."107 Man, God said, "is a worm."108 "Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble."109 His life is temporary, "as grass,"110 "a vapour,"111 "a shadow."112 "Behold, He put no trust in His servants; and His angels He charged with folly: How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth?"113 "Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?"114 "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God."115

The people of this world are so brain damaged by this world system which was first created and then ruled by the insane and doomed Satan 116 that they believe they are knowledgeable. In actuality, they know nothing but that which their leader Satan knows and has taught them, lies and murder. They have been deceived with strong delusions 117 and believe the lie that the world, its system, and Satan will never end!! But Jesus said, "It is finished."118

Some believe the delusion that there is no Heaven or Hell. Some believe the delusion that God is all love and not wrath, but God is a terror to those who do not obey Him.119 God plainly states that the world will soon end by His wrathful fourteen plagues, including a major world quake and a big fire.120 "Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time."121 This will be such an enormous fire and hot flame that it shall melt the very elements of both Heaven and earth. 122 He makes "a new Heaven and a new earth."123 He says, "Behold, I make all things new."124 But the world, having been blinded by Satan, feels that it is much more profitable to give their strength unto the dragon, "that old serpent, called the Devil," 125 rather than to serve God, the only One who can give eternal life and all His other precious gifts to them.

"The god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not."126 Satan "deceiveth the whole world." 127 This deception will continue until the day "the Heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places."128 Then shall every knee bow and every tongue confess that Jesus, not the devil, but Jesus, not the devil’s ambassadors, but Jesus, not the devil’s world system, but Jesus, is the King of kings and Lord of lords. 129 Because they didn’t believe that Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords when salvation was available to them, they shall pray for the "mountains and rocks [to], Fall on [them], and hide [them] from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb [Christ]."130 But their prayer shall do them no good.131 "For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath showed no mercy." 132

"For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ."133 Our death, our burial, and our resurrection, which includes our becoming new creatures by faith in baptism, must take place only at the all-purpose, all-inclusive cross.134 It becomes clear in the following words of Romans 6:3: "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death?" In this verse of scripture, the two phases of inward baptism are clearly shown. It is our baptism into two realms. First, we who believe "were baptized into His death." This is a powerful truth, but this is only half of the power of it. Second, the same verse states that we were "baptized into Jesus Christ." A baptism into the death of Christ Jesus who is the life ends our relationship with this world, but a baptism into Christ Jesus as a living person who is the head of a holy nation, a new race, opens a new world, wherein only righteousness dwells.135

This new world became available to the entire world on the day when Christ was lifted up on the cross. He said, "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me."136 It was then that He drew every regenerated soul unto Himself.

Being united in marriage by His life living in us causes us to be one in God’s life.137 "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism [into death and life], One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all [the saved]."138

It is eternally dangerous to our souls for us to think that we can change anything in the Word of God.139 Every single Word which God said makes a great deal of difference to every person’s soul, because each Word is the life of God to their soul.140 Therefore, we know that God means every Word that He says. This is why everyone, in order to live, must believe every Word that He has ever said.141

Babies must not be baptized in water. It is unscriptural to baptize them because "where no law is, there is no transgression."142 People are not to be baptized in water until they have been saved and the life of God has entered them. Therefore, babies cannot believe both because they don’t have any consciousness of sin and because water baptism only has meaning after internal baptism. It is unscriptural to baptize babies. If they die, they are saved. The thief on the cross next to Jesus did not need to be baptized in water either, because he had the real inward baptism and was inwardly regenerated, born again of the Spirit.143 He died and followed Christ into paradise that very day. We know this because Jesus said he would follow Him, not in the world, but into paradise.144

Jesus said, "Ye must be born again."145 Going to church, having good morals, reading the Bible, being persecuted, fasting and praying, taking communion, partaking in rituals, singing hymns, being a good person, feeding and clothing people, visiting people in prisons and hospitals, and just holding a good thought—all these are not enough because Jesus said, "YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN"!! "of water and of the Spirit."146

The life of Satan, with his law of sin and death that God, through Paul, said dwells in our flesh, must be constantly policed.147 It must be mortified which is the same as the cross, our baptism into Christ’s death, and His burial.148 It must constantly be held under water in burial by the power of God’s life continuously resurrected and alive in us. 149

The Word states that the three satanic forces are the world, the flesh, and the devil.150 All of these are in opposition to God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, and His bride, who are one. The world is totally against the Father as Creator of Heaven, of earth, and of all that is therein. 151 When God came to the world as a man in Jesus, He destroyed Satan’s system for all those who come to Him.152 The reason Satan’s world system is fighting Christians so hard today is because we are taking back God’s kingdom by the life of God in us (which is the grace of God).153

Satan’s work has all been in vain. He has worked invisibly all these years for nothing.154 Now he is in a state of wrathful panic.155 He openly shows himself as the archenemy of Christ and Christianity. He and his world order say, "What’s the difference if we come out of the closet and are known? All is lost anyway. It’s over. Who cares if the world knows we’re corrupt, evil, and wicked?" He knows soon that he will be burning in Hell’s fire forever, along with all those who have foolishly followed him. 156

What could Satan do that would be more demonic than nailing the Lord of glory to a cross and persecuting the Christians in whom He lives from then on?157 And what could God as Christ do to show us more of His power than raise Himself up from the dead, ascend into His kingdom, and begin to reign from that lofty vantage point in the bodies of His millions of followers down here who are intently listening to Him for every direction?158 If we are in Christ, baptized, we sit there with Him and reign with Him.159 If we are of Christ’s baptism, He will live in our bodies and actively work with us here in this world.160

The Lord allowed His crucifixion to occur not only for the purpose of our salvation, our baptism, but also to end the reign of Satan and his world system by the same inward baptism.161 He also wanted to show the height, the depth, the width, and the breadth of His love and of Satan’s wickedness.162 By our knowledge of Satan’s wickedness, our knowing that he crucified the Lord of glory, we are clear on who he is and who Christ is. Therefore, we are capable of choosing which one it is that will be our master. It’s just a matter of our choice, a matter of our will, a matter of who we want to serve and spend eternity with. One thing is for sure, we must choose one or the other.163

What will be your choice? Will you choose the Lord of glory Himself, He who laid His life down for you, took it back up, and is alive forevermore so that you might have eternal life?164 Or will you choose the one who, through the elements of the world, nailed the very God of glory to the cross, and spend eternity with him in the unquenchable flame? God allowed this vicious, demonic leader of the world system to be seen by both Heaven and earth, by the angels and the inhabitants of the world, so that he might be judged and cast out by all who love life.165 "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners."166 This is the eternal purpose of God, He has made salvation available to the entire world.167 However, each person must individually choose whether they want God’s purpose to be fulfilled in them by baptism, or want Satan’s purpose to be fulfilled in them by denying Christ.168 The choice belongs to you.

If you choose to go into baptism with Christ for His purpose, you are not to go into the baptism alone. You are to take the entire world and its system with you, leaving it buried in baptism or separation, before you may enter God’s heavenly new world, just as Noah and the children of Israel left their old world behind them when the flood and the Red Sea separated or baptized them both from it and their enemies.169 They found themselves in a new world. Lot and his two daughters also entered their new world when God separated or baptized them away from their old world by fire.170

Anyone desiring baptism or separation from their old world by this inward, spiritual baptism from God must remain separated or baptized . We must not desire to go back to our old world, as Lot’s wife did.171 She desired a world which was to become nothing more than a world of ashes. This present world we live in will soon be reduced to ashes as well.172 If your desire is to leave it before this happens, you may do so immediately by saying this prayer:

Prayer

My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.

Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
