BEAUTIFUL AND GLORIOUS

“And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel” (Isaiah 4:1-2).

John 15:1-3 is a fulfillment of this Scripture above: JESUS said, “I AM the TRUE VINE, and MY FATHER is the HUSBANDMAN [the FARMER]. Every branch in ME that beareth not fruit [does not win souls and make disciples of them] HE taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit [those who win souls and make disciples of them], HE purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit [more disciples]. Now you are clean through the WORD which I have spoken unto you.”

JESUS is the SON of GOD and the WORD of GOD who lived on earth in human flesh.1 HE brought the light of truth into the darkness of people’s hearts.2 All who heard, and all who will hear now, receive a spiritual renewal and learn the truth of what their hearts yearn for. If you read the WORD of GOD, the Bible, and believe it as your eternal life, you will be spiritually reborn into a member of the Body of JESUS.3 But, if you gaze upon, become absorbed in, and set your heart on the things of this carnal world, you will continue being transformed into a member of the secular world which will pass away.4 Whatever you seek and dwell on, you will be transformed into.

The Apostle Paul stated, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of GOD, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto GOD, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be  transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of GOD” (Romans 12:1-2).

JESUS said, “Abide in ME, and I [the WORD] in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself [win souls, make disciples on its own], except it abide in the VINE; no more can you, except you abide in ME. I AM the VINE, you are the branches: He that abides in ME [the WORD of GOD], and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit [many souls, disciples]: for without ME you can do nothing. If a man abides not in ME [if a man is seeking the things of this present world, is absorbed in this world’s sin, and is entrenched in the worldly distractions of life], he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

“If you abide in ME, and MY WORDS abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is MY FATHER glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be MY disciples. As the FATHER has loved ME, so have I loved you: continue in MY love [never fall away]. If you keep MY commandments, you shall abide in MY love; even as I have kept MY FATHER’S commandments, and abide in HIS love. These things have I spoken unto you, that MY joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is MY commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you” (John 15:4-12).

If you love GOD, you will keep GOD’S commandments.5 All who love the LORD are never to join in with wickedness, but to hate evil (Proverbs 8:13).6 When JESUS told HIS disciples that HE was going to be killed, Peter rebuked the LORD and insisted it wouldn’t happen. JESUS told him, “Get thee behind ME, Satan: thou art an offence unto ME” (Matthew 16:23). JESUS also formed a whip, drove out the money exchangers, and overturned the tables of those who defiled the synagogue with their merchandising (John 2:13-16). HE told the Pharisees, Sadducees, and scribes that they were of their father, the devil (John 8:44). HE cast devils out, and forbade them to speak, and HE did so much more.7 JESUS showed the goodness and compassion of GOD and stood up against evildoers and unrighteousness. We are to be as HE was in this world (1 John 4:17). We are commanded to give no place to the devil and to be holy and separate from sin.8

“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the SON of GOD was manifested, that HE might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). The Apostle Peter explained that they witnessed “How GOD anointed JESUS of Nazareth with the HOLY SPIRIT and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for GOD was with HIM” (Acts 10:38). JESUS wants us to do all that HE has done and proclaim the message of freedom from oppression through salvation that HE provided for all humanity.9 It was accomplished when HE voluntarily laid down HIS human life and shed HIS sinless blood on the cross for us. We can inherit eternal life and our sins can be washed away forever through acceptance of HIS blood sacrifice.10

JESUS said, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are MY friends, if you do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of MY FATHER I have made known unto you. You have not chosen ME, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the FATHER in MY name, HE may give it you.

“These things I command you, that you love one another. If the world hates you, you know that it hated ME before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the WORD that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his LORD. If they have persecuted ME, they will also persecute you; if they have kept MY saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for MY name’s sake, because they know not HIM that sent ME. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. He that hates ME hates MY FATHER also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both ME and MY FATHER. But this cometh to pass, that the WORD might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated ME without a cause.11 But when the COMFORTER is come, whom I will send unto you from the FATHER, even the SPIRIT of TRUTH, which proceeds from the FATHER, HE shall testify of ME: And you also shall bear witness, because you have been with ME from the beginning” (John 15:13-27).

Again, “In that day [the day that the LORD’S people dwell in HIM, and HE in them] shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious [for they bring forth many disciples], and the fruit of the earth [the disciples] shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel [unbelieving Israel]. And it shall come to pass [after having gone through trials, persecution], that he that is left in Zion, and he that remains in Jerusalem [those who remain a branch, a disciple in the VINE—JESUS], shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living [those who are saved and written in the LAMB’S Book of Life] in Jerusalem [the New Jerusalem, the Bride of CHRIST]: When the LORD shall have washed away the filth [the sins, in HIS own blood] of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the SPIRIT of judgment, and by the SPIRIT of burning [the experience of fiery troubles, tribulations].

“And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defense [GOD will be our GOD, and HIS disciples shall be HIS people]. And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain” (Isaiah 4:2-6). The LORD shall be a house, a tabernacle, a temple to protect us from all harm!

Do you know JESUS the MESSIAH who died for you? I don’t mean if you have heard of, or know about HIM, but do you know HIM personally as your own LORD, your closest FRIEND, and SAVIOR? Have you made the commitment to do HIS will and serve HIM with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength? JESUS said, “You must be born again” (John 3:7). If you haven’t, or you want to renew your commitment to HIM, today can be the start of a new life in HIM. JESUS says, “Come unto ME, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take MY yoke upon you, and learn of ME; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. For MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).

Start becoming a branch in JESUS, that HE, by HIS SPIRIT, may powerfully abide in you to guide you to HEAVEN. Start now by saying this prayer:

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11

After salvation, JESUS said to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.12 Then study the King James Version Bible, and, for your benefit and the benefit of others, do what it says.13

CHRIST and GOD the FATHER now live in you through the HOLY SPIRIT. There is a way you can receive a fuller portion of the divine nature of GOD in you. The more the divine nature of GOD lives in you, the more you will be able to stand against the temptations that have so easily moved so many millions of Christians away from salvation. Pray for the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT.14 For instructions on how to receive the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT and to receive more of GOD’S holy nature, ask for our literature or call. For without holiness, no man shall see GOD (Hebrews 12:14).

If you want the world saved, as JESUS commands, then don’t rob GOD of HIS tithes and offerings. GOD said, “Will a man rob GOD? Yet ye have robbed ME. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed THEE? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
