Jesus The Light Of The World

One of the problems people have is that they stumble over the SIMPLICITY of the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST, the TRUTH of GOD.1 The plan of salvation is easy to understand. It is so easy that a four or five-year-old child can understand it. What a cruel trick it would have been if GOD had made it so complicated that only people with high IQs could find out how to know GOD and be saved, born again of the SPIRIT of GOD (Luke 10:21).
Little children love JESUS. They come to HIM; they love HIM because they know HE loves them. “And they brought young children to HIM, that HE should touch them: and HIS disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when JESUS saw it, HE was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto ME, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of GOD. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of GOD as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And HE took them up in HIS arms, put HIS hands upon them, and blessed them” (Mark 10:13-16).
Another hindrance to finding GOD is that many people believe themselves to be highly intelligent teachers, but they twist the Scriptures and complicate the WORD of GOD which causes those searching for truth to stumble.2 This is one of the reasons so many people are disgusted with these false and often hypocritical religious people and their organized religions. They believe themselves to be so smart, yet they themselves do not know the true GOD and are not even saved, born again of the SPIRIT. They have no relationship with the SPIRIT of GOD, no spiritual understanding or compassion for others, and they lead sincere seekers of truth astray and discourage them. They don’t simply believe what JESUS, the apostles, and the prophets have said, as children do, but come up with false interpretations and fallacy, such as stating that you can sin and still enter Heaven, which is a damning lie.3 They condemn themselves to Hell and take others with them.4
The Apostle Paul said, “The wisdom of this world is foolishness with GOD. For it is written, HE taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The LORD knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. Therefore let no man glory in men” (1 Corinthians 3:19-21).
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of GOD. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not GOD made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of GOD the world by wisdom knew not GOD, it pleased GOD by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe” (1 Corinthians 1:18-21).
GOD made truth easy to understand! Anyone with an honest heart can understand and receive salvation.5 A person with a heart of gold is what JESUS is searching for. JESUS said, “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see GOD” (Matthew 5:8). The Prophet Jeremiah stated, “And ye shall seek ME, and find ME, when ye shall search for ME with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).
Today people are too distracted with politics. We are all disenchanted with these phony politicians. Almost all of them lie. You cannot trust in human flesh, for people will fail you. GOD is the only faithful and true one. You can put all your trust in HIS words in the Bible and be blessed by living according to them.
When JESUS completed a forty-day fast and was confronted by Satan who tempted HIM to make the stones bread, JESUS “answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of GOD” (Matthew 4:1-4). We live by all the WORD of GOD, the Bible.6 I use the King James version because I believe it to be the best translation.
The Bible plainly tells us JESUS is the WORD of GOD.7 “In the beginning [of everything] was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD” (John 1:1). Verse 14 tells us that the WORD of GOD is most certainly JESUS. “And the WORD was made flesh [a human, GOD-MAN], and dwelt among us, (and we [the apostles and multitudes] beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the FATHER,) full of grace [power] and truth.”
“The same [JESUS, the WORD of GOD] was in the beginning with GOD. All things were made by HIM [the preincarnate JESUS, the WORD]; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made. In HIM was LIFE; and the LIFE was the [only] light of men [all mankind]. And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not” (John 1:2-5). This is easy to understand, but if people choose to reject this truth and remain in darkness, Hell will be their home forever!
The book of Isaiah prophesied, “Surely HE hath borne our griefs [sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses], and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem HIM stricken, smitten of GOD, and afflicted. But HE was wounded for our transgressions, HE was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon HIM; and with HIS stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on HIM the iniquity of us all. HE was oppressed, and HE was afflicted, yet HE opened not HIS mouth: HE is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so HE openeth not HIS mouth. HE was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare HIS generation? for HE was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of MY people was HE stricken” (Isaiah 53:4-8).
All of this prophecy was fulfilled by JESUS over 2,000 years ago. JESUS is the only one who fulfilled over 300 additional prophecies of the MESSIAH from the Old Testament. HE willingly came to this earth as a man. HE suffered and died on the cross to be the perfect blood sacrifice for us. HE made a way for us to receive healing and forgiveness of every sin and be brought back into communion with GOD as Adam and Eve had before they sinned in the Garden of Eden (Ephesians 2:11-18). HE cleared the only way for us to escape Hell and live with HIM forever in Heaven. GOD also promised to send HIS HOLY SPIRIT to dwell within every believer.8 And this is the simple, yet most important truth in the good news of the Gospel. The Bible was written for every seeker of truth to receive salvation, guidance, wisdom, and great encouragement throughout their lives and to spread the good news to the world.9
GOD has always been very merciful to us all. Satan is the one who causes the evil in this world.
I could never have believed in JESUS, the FATHER, or the HOLY SPIRIT, unless GOD HIMSELF came to me. If anyone professed Christianity, I didn’t want them around me. They were disgusting to me, as I see many people are disgusted with me today (John 15:18-19). I felt this way until that day in a Beverly Hills attorney’s office when GOD deafened my ears and began talking audibly to my spirit throughout my whole body. The room was filled with around twenty-five or thirty people. When GOD began forcefully talking to me, I began thinking I was crazy. This was in 1964. HE emphatically told me to tell the people in that office that JESUS CHRIST is coming back to earth. I tried to leave the room so I could commit myself into a private asylum, but the SPIRIT of GOD made me stay and do what I was told. So, I did this until the LORD told me that was enough.
Now, I have been saved for over 47 years. I love true Christians. There are not that many of them.10 Now I know that the WORD of GOD is JESUS who is the light of the WORLD.11 To read the King James Version Bible (the old version) is sweet direction in this very dark world.
It is very sad to see the people of the world so deceived, but this too was prophesied long ago.12 The devil has done a giant slander job on me and on other true preachers of the truth, but even more so on GOD and the WORD of GOD.13 This is the same smear job the devil did on JESUS until the majority of the people shouted “Crucify HIM,” over and over again.14 When they died, their spirits went for judgment before HIM. Now they are in Hell and waiting for the final judgment where they, with the devil, his evil angels, and all people who refused JESUS, will be cast into the Lake of Fire forever.15
Revelation 22:19 tells us all, “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, GOD shall take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this Book.” (This is one of the many Scriptures which tell us if we contradict the WORD of GOD, we will be taken out, blotted out, of the Book of Life.16) If you reject the WORD of GOD you won’t go to Heaven; you will spend eternity screaming your head off in the Lake of Fire.17
JESUS said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the FATHER, but by ME” (John 14:6). HE also stated, “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on ME should not abide in darkness” (John 12:46). All of us need truth, light, and direction in these last days before the soon return of JESUS.18
The simplicity of the Gospel is within your reach. Don’t reject it or put it off. First, call on JESUS and surrender your life completely to GOD. Repent of your former sins and ask JESUS to wash your sins away by HIS blood that was shed for you. Put away your old life for good and begin your new life as a child of GOD. Call on HIM now and make HIM your LORD and SAVIOR. Study and follow what the WORD of GOD says. HE will give you the power to do it. The HOLY SPIRIT will dwell with you and within you.19 JESUS said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). Then, go and teach your children and all others about the pure truth found in JESUS, the WORD of GOD.

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11
After salvation, JESUS said to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.12 Then study the King James Version Bible, and, for your benefit and the benefit of others, do what it says.13
CHRIST and GOD the FATHER now live in you through the HOLY SPIRIT. There is a way you can receive a fuller portion of the divine nature of GOD in you. The more the divine nature of GOD lives in you, the more you will be able to stand against the temptations that have so easily moved so many millions of Christians away from salvation. If you want the world saved, as JESUS commands, then don’t rob GOD of HIS tithes and offerings. GOD said, “Will a man rob GOD? Yet ye have robbed ME. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed THEE? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
