LONGING TO BELONG

by Tony Alamo

JESUS told HIS disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until they received the promise of the FATHER, which is, “You shall receive power [which means authority], after that the HOLY SPIRIT is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto ME both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they [one hundred twenty, which included eleven of the disciples minus Judas Iscariot, and included Mary the mother of JESUS] were all with one accord in one place” (Acts 2:1).

GOD gives those of us who keep HIS commandments the baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT (Acts 5:32). HE does this so we may have HIS SPIRITUAL power to serve in the ministry. This means we can minister the Gospel, suffer persecution and loss, turn away from temptation, flee from the appearance of evil, pray without ceasing, preach, teach, witness, and obey all the guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT.1

“And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the HOLY SPIRIT, and began to speak with other tongues [languages], as the SPIRIT gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galileans?” (Acts 2:2-7).

Yes, they were all Galileans, who were all longing to belong to something they could invest their lives in, the most meaningful thing that they could ever imagine, to belong to the family of GOD, where everyone walks in the same SPIRIT, has the same purpose, as one body with different functions, and has the same belief (Ephesians chapter 2).2 Without JESUS, the people of the world all belong to Satan. People either belong to GOD, or they belong to the devil.3 If you don’t belong to CHRIST, you belong to the devil. “He that is not with ME is against ME; and he that gathereth not with ME scattereth abroad” (Matthew 12:30).

People of the devil knock themselves out to participate in Satan’s many distractions, such as sports, texting, Facebook, computers, TV, radio, cults, religions, education, science, etc. Satan’s awful list is endless. However, many thousands of people saw GOD in JESUS on earth, GOD in JESUS walking the dusty roads of this world, GOD in the flesh of JESUS (John 1:1, 14) doing thousands, maybe millions, of miracles.4 No person can truthfully say that no one has ever seen JESUS. Over five hundred people saw JESUS ascend into Heaven in a cloud (Acts 1:7-11, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8).

After seeing all of JESUS’ miracles, only one hundred twenty individuals decided to belong to GOD in JESUS by being in the upper room, praying in one accord on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4). All the others decided they would belong to the temporal things of this present world. But this one hundred twenty were all filled with the HOLY SPIRIT! They were longing to be connected to something eternal, not merely temporal.

There is the devil’s one-world government which you see today,5 and there is GOD’S ONE UNIVERSAL GOVERNMENT—not Catholic—but born of the HOLY SPIRIT, where GOD in JESUS is “KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS!” People should choose to belong to the Kingdom of GOD, because if you choose something else, you will suffer the most excruciating pain forever.6 GOD doesn’t force you or anyone else to do anything. However, this is an offer you shouldn’t refuse.

When the one hundred twenty began speaking the wonderful words of GOD in different languages, the other people thought them to be drunk: “But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, You men of Judaea, and all you that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and listen to my words.” He told them that the one hundred twenty individuals were not drunk as they thought, seeing it was only the third hour of the day (Acts 2:14-15). This incident was the fulfillment of the prophecy given by the prophet Joel (Joel 2:28-31). “And it shall come to pass in the LAST DAYS” (Acts 2:17).

Peter never was a Catholic or a pope, but was an apostle and a Jewish disciple of JESUS, THE WORD OF GOD.7

Peter was saying two thousand years ago that it was the LAST DAYS. “And it shall come to pass in the LAST DAYS, saith GOD, I will pour out of MY SPIRIT upon all flesh” (Acts 2:17). This is the reason everyone is experiencing different things from GOD. Everyone knows it is the end of time.

Children and adults are longing to belong to the crowd. I reckon that is why the big crowd all died in the flood.8 Will children go to Hell? They all did then! And they will today.

I heard a news report which said ninety percent of children today are watching pornography, which will corrupt the strongest of souls. More than that amount of adults have watched it and/or are still addicted to it! Pornography today is where the big crowd is. You are longing to belong to a big crowd? Well, there you are! But know this: there is a heavy price to pay, which is an eternity of excruciating misery that never ends in the Lake of Fire.9

Pornography leads to perversions of all kinds: adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, and all other types of perversions that even animals don’t practice! Pornography leads to divorce. Divorce, in most cases, is sin—except for the cause of fornication (Matthew 5:32, 19:9, Mark 10:2-9).

Pornography is lasciviousness, evil concupiscence,10 and the only way out of it is told of in the KJV Bible, Psalm 119 Beth verse 9 through 11: “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to THY WORD. With my whole heart have I sought THEE: O let me not wander from THY commandments. THY WORD have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against THEE.” This is the way to beat the devil and every sin he fires at you day and night. Fill your mind with GOD’S WORDS.11

There is but one way out of weakness, sin, so listen closely. We can be justified, forgiven, by faith in JESUS, the WORD of GOD.12 The Apostle Paul said that he and the other believers have peace rather than the wrath of GOD, “peace with GOD through our LORD JESUS CHRIST: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace [power] wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of GOD. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of GOD is shed abroad in our hearts by the HOLY SPIRIT which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time CHRIST died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But GOD commendeth HIS love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us. Much more then, being now justified by HIS blood, we shall be saved from wrath through HIM.

“For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to GOD by the death of HIS SON, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by HIS life [living in us]. And not only so, but we also joy in GOD through our LORD JESUS CHRIST, by whom we have now received the atonement.

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law [we do have the law now13]. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of HIM that was to come.

“But not as the offense, so also is the free gift. For if through the offense of one many be dead, much more the grace [power] of GOD, and the gift by grace [power], which is by one man, JESUS CHRIST, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses unto justification. For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace [power] and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, JESUS CHRIST.) Therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace [power] did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace [power] reign through righteousness unto eternal life by JESUS CHRIST our LORD” (Romans 5:1-21).

You might be the missing link, the one who would belong to the BODY OF CHRIST, which the devil has been hiding from you, which you didn’t realize you have been longing for all the time! Belong now by saying this prayer:

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11

After salvation, JESUS said to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.12 Diligently study the King James Version Bible, and do what it says until the day you die13

If you want the world saved, as JESUS commands, then don’t rob GOD of HIS tithes and offerings. GOD said, “Will a man rob GOD? Yet ye have robbed ME. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed THEE? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
