NECESSARY WORKS

The Apostle Paul had a radical conversion from ultra- religious Judaism to becoming a follower of YESHUA, JESUS, the MESSIAH.1 Paul later explained how insane he was in his past to have persecuted JESUS. I say JESUS because JESUS told him that HE was the one whom Paul was persecuting. JESUS was living by the HOLY SPIRIT in all the saints that Paul was putting in prison, putting to death, and forcing to blaspheme.

Paul spoke before King Agrippa, “Many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them. And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities. Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from Heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou ME? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And I said, Who art THOU, LORD? And HE said, I am JESUS whom thou persecutest” (Acts 26:10-15).

The saints then were as we are today. We are the continuation of CHRIST’S incarnation in this present world.2 JESUS lives in us with the FATHER by the HOLY SPIRIT.3 When you persecute us, you are persecuting JESUS, the FATHER, and the HOLY SPIRIT. These three are one.4

JESUS stated, “I am the vine, ye [saints] are the branches: He that abideth in ME, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit [souls]:5for without ME ye can do nothing.6If a man abide not in ME, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered…If ye abide in ME, and MY words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is MY FATHER glorified, that ye [do works that] bear much fruit; [To bear much fruit, you must do the work. JESUS says, if you do, you will glorify the FATHER.] so shall ye be MY disciples. As the FATHER hath loved ME, so have I loved you: continue ye in MY love [love is doing HIS work; 'For this is the love of GOD, that we keep HIS commandments: and HIS commandments are not grievous' (1 John 5:3)]. If [and only if] ye keep MY commandments, ye shall abide in MY love' (John 15:5-10). JESUS is saying, if you do HIS WORK, you shall abide (or live) in HIS commandments, and in HIS love.

It is true that no work of our own can merit initial salvation7because JESUS bought our salvation with HIS blood that was shed on the cross.8But after salvation, we must do the works of a disciple in order to glorify the FATHER and remain in CHRIST.

James 2:14, 17-19 says, “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? ...Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.9 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one GOD; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” “The just shall live by faith” (Hebrews 10:38). Faith compels you to do the will of GOD.

JESUS told Paul this most important message on the day of his conversion on the road to Damascus. “For I [JESUS] have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee [to put you to work]; Delivering thee from the people [the Jews], and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee [with MY WORD], To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto GOD, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith [to do these things—not to doubt—but to  have faith] that is in ME [JESUS]. Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I [Paul] was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: But showed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to GOD, AND DO WORKS MEET FOR REPENTANCE” (Acts 26:16-20).

If you are not idle, if you do the work as JESUS, the prophets, the apostles, and all the disciples have done, then “If ye shall ask any thing in MY name, I will do it. If ye love ME, keep MY commandments [which is to do the work of GOD]” (John 14:14-15). We prove our faith to the LORD by doing HIS work of preaching the gospel and bringing the lost to the knowledge of CHRIST. This is repeated throughout Scripture.

“JESUS saith unto them, MY meat is to do the will of HIM that sent ME, and to finish HIS work. Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest [human souls are waiting to hear the good news of the kingdom and be saved]. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours” (John 4:34-38).

Throughout the LORD’S ministry on earth, HE spoke to the people in parables.10 JESUS taught, “For the kingdom of Heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.

“So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny [the kingdom of Heaven]. But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny [the kingdom of Heaven]. And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee” (Matthew 20:1-14).

The LORD was showing us that we will receive salvation, eternal life, whether we have been serving the LORD for manydecades or have just recently begun serving the LORD. But this is conditional on whether we do not sit idle, but show our faith by our action, doing the work as ambassadors of the kingdom of GOD (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).

JESUS also said, “Not every one that saith unto ME, LORD, LORD, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of MY FATHER which is in Heaven. Many will say to ME in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in THY name? and in THY name have cast out devils? and in THY name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from ME, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of MINE, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of MINE, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it” (Matthew 7:21-27).

Another parable JESUS taught showed the kingdom of Heaven like a man who traveled to another country and left his goods with his servants (Matthew 25:14-30). According to their ability, he gave one five talents, another two, and the last received one talent. The one with five was productive and doubled the talents. The person given two also doubled what he was given. But the person given one talent buried it in the earth and did nothing with it. When the owner returned, he was pleased with the first two and told them, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord” (Matthew 25:21, 23). But to the third servant who did nothing with what he was given, his lord said, “Cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 25:30). Clearly, JESUS is telling us that we must be doers of the work of GOD until HE returns (James 1:22).

Those directed by Satan, who promote the demonic global government, are part of a demonocracy. Any time government is infiltrated and overrun by ungodly people, that is what it becomes. This is because all the people of the world who do not follow the LORD have been deceived (converted) by Satan.11 They have molded themselves into the government according to their master, the devil. We are witnessing the final world government of the Beast, spoken of in the books of Daniel and Revelation.12 Throughout history, the majority of people have been wrong, choosing their own ways, which Satan directs, and rejecting the commands of GOD.13 This is why GOD destroyed everyone in the world in Noah’s time with the worldwide flood with the exception of eight souls.14 Time is short, and there is a big job for us to do. We must bring the light of the gospel to everyone on earth.15

The Apostle John was shown many future events by the LORD while he was exiled on the island of Patmos for preaching the gospel. He wrote: “I saw the dead, small and great, stand before GOD; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and Hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works” (Revelation 20:12-13).

After salvation, we must do the work of the LORD until HE returns, and HE is coming back to the earth soon. If we don’t, we, like the rest of the world, are doing the work of the devil; GOD’S WORD says so. If we do nothing, we’re still doing the work of the devil.16 This is because the LORD requires us to proclaim the good news of forgiveness of sins through the work JESUS accomplished on the cross and the abundant life HE gives to all who will receive HIM.17

It is first necessary that we repent of our sins and make JESUS our LORD. JESUS said we must have a spiritual rebirth (John 3:3-8). Then we are able to help others to know about salvation that is available to all who will call upon the SAVIOR. JESUS says, “Come unto ME, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take MY yoke upon you, and learn of ME; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).

JESUS said repent or perish (Luke 13:1-5). Do your repenting now and become a child of GOD before it’s too late. The WORD of GOD says the whole world would be deceived,18 and GOD will again destroy the whole world, except for a few.19 This time it will be by fire, and it will happen soon.20 If you want to escape condemnation for eternity,21 and know lasting peace, joy, and truth, if it is your will to be saved, say this prayer of repentance, and accept GOD’S gift of salvation now:

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11

After salvation, JESUS said to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.12 Then study the King James Version Bible, and, for your benefit and the benefit of others, do what it says.13

CHRIST and GOD the FATHER now live in you through the HOLY SPIRIT. There is a way you can receive a fuller portion of the divine nature of GOD in you. The more the divine nature of GOD lives in you, the more you will be able to stand against the temptations that have so easily moved so many millions of Christians away from salvation. Pray for the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT.14 For instructions on how to receive the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT and to receive more of GOD’S holy nature, ask for our literature or call. For without holiness, no man shall see GOD (Hebrews 12:14).

If you want the world saved, as JESUS commands, then don’t rob GOD of HIS tithes and offerings. GOD said, “Will a man rob GOD? Yet ye have robbed ME. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed THEE? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
