Removing Oppression

The source of oppression is found in the book of Acts where Peter, by the HOLY SPIRIT, said, “GOD anointed JESUS of Nazareth with the HOLY SPIRIT and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for GOD was with HIM” (Acts 10:38). So, it’s the devil that oppresses everyone, and JESUS is the One who heals all who are oppressed of the devil.1

One of the disciples, Andrew, who was originally the disciple of John the Baptist, “found first his brother Simon [after he began following JESUS], and said to him, We have found the MESSIAH [which means CHRIST]” (John 1:41).

It was also revealed unto Simeon by the HOLY SPIRIT that he would not die before he had seen the MESSIAH. “And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the HOLY SPIRIT was upon him. And it was revealed unto him by the HOLY SPIRIT, that he should not see death, before he had seen the LORD’S CHRIST. And he came by the SPIRIT into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child JESUS, to do for HIM after the custom of the law, Then took he HIM up in his arms, and blessed GOD, and said, LORD, now lettest THOU THY servant depart in peace, according to THY word: For mine eyes have seen THY salvation, Which THOU hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of THY people Israel” (Luke 2:25-32).

When JESUS asked HIS disciples, “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered HIM, saying, “THOU art the CHRIST, the SON of the living GOD” (Matthew 16:15-16).

The Prophet Isaiah, who lived approximately seven hundred years before JESUS, wrote, “Thus saith the LORD the KING of Israel, and HIS REDEEMER the LORD of HOSTS; I am the First, and I am the Last; and beside ME there is no GOD” (Isaiah 44:6). JESUS said, “I and MY FATHER are one” (John 10:30).

JESUS has many titles.2 The JEHOVAH of the Old Testament is the JESUS, or YESHUA, of the New Testament.3 JESUS is also called “the Son of Man.”4 JESUS usually addressed HIMSELF as “the Son of Man” to the amazement of HIS disciples. JESUS was in HIS condition of humility; HE was, as yet, best known to HIS followers in HIS humanity.5 HE was also to be known as the promised “Seed” of the woman in a miraculous conception and birth.6 HE was “the perfect Man,” whose mission into the world that HE created was to be the Redeemer, the Savior of lost mankind, the Healer of oppression.7

JESUS is most distinctively “the SON of GOD,” which expresses the deity of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, distinguishing the GOD in HIM from HIS humanity. It is revealed in HIS life and relationship with the FATHER before HIS birth or incarnation.8 “GOD [sent] HIS own SON in the likeness of sinful flesh” (Romans 8:3). JESUS declared HIMSELF to be the SON of GOD and the MESSIAH based on HIS proper oneness and equality with GOD.9 This reference is not to the incarnation or miraculous conception of HIMSELF, but to HIS oneness with GOD in the glory that HE had with the FATHER before the world was created (John 17:5). JESUS said to the Jews, “Say ye of HIM, whom the FATHER hath sanctified, and sent into the world, THOU blasphemest; because I said, I am the SON of GOD?” (John 10:36).

Many reasons why Christians believe are found in the four Gospels, which document the facts of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, HIS human life, HIS words of power and truth, which caused a profound, unabated impact on humanity. They show the significance of CHRIST’S life. Without these, the Gospel would not exist.

Our faith in the Scriptures’ teachings resets our faith on the following truths: (1) We see the absolute uniqueness and perfection of the “GOD-MAN.” (2) We realize that all the predictions of the MESSIAH were fulfilled in HIM.10 (3) The multitude of miracles was part of HIS plan of redemption. (4) The resurrection of JESUS from the dead is an absolute historical fact.11 (5) We who have been born again of the SPIRIT of GOD know we have been transformed from spiritual death into a new SPIRITUAL life in HIM.12 (6) The SPIRIT’S witness that we have personally been adopted into the family of GOD and HIS Christian consciousness.13 (7) We see the testimony of how the Gospel has been preached, taught, and accepted, even into the twenty-first century.

Was any other person in the history of the world born like JESUS? Did the living GOD ever beget another? Was there ever another virgin conception or birth? The birth of JESUS is recorded in great detail in the Gospels, which is that the eternal WORD of GOD “who was with GOD” and “was GOD” became flesh in a virgin’s womb by the HOLY SPIRIT under the overshadowing “power of the Highest” (Luke 1:35, John 1:1, 14).14

The WORD of GOD gives a pure, exalted, yet humble description of the nativity. The WORD of GOD makes us know that CHRIST is divine. GOD actually became a man (incarnate). Conception in a virgin’s womb, other than by the HOLY SPIRIT, would not be possible. It would make no sense. In all history, there has never been an event seemingly so uncomplicated, sublime, and beautiful. We read of the choir of angels on the hills of Judea and the wise men’s guiding star (Matthew 2:1-12). The incarnation was GOD becoming a man, as the Gospels tell us. This was not merely GOD entering a man, as HE now does with men who accept HIM today (Revelation 3:20). JESUS was not merely a divine man, but a GOD-MAN. JESUS was sinless and selfless, and HE kept an unbroken fellowship with the FATHER, always being fully obedient to the will of the FATHER, even to the death of the cross.15

Christian salvation is not attained by human intellect or what people believe to be human brilliance. It is gained through the enlightenment of the SPIRIT of GOD. Today’s thinker cannot fit spiritual truths into their carnal or natural minds.16 The resurrection does not make sense to the so-called “scientific” environment of today, which makes the assumption that the universe is an open-and-shut case. To them, this event, the resurrection, is confined to the law of nature, which is but one of the sets of laws of GOD’S making, which include: the law of nature, the moral law, the law of the SPIRIT of Life in CHRIST JESUS, the law of sin and death, and the Old Testament law of animal sacrifices (which no longer applies since CHRIST came into the world as the only true sacrifice for our atonement).17 We can see that these natural-minded people are extremely limited in their narrow way of thought. Humans violate GOD’S law of nature the same as they violate HIS moral law and the law of the SPIRIT of life in CHRIST JESUS.

Christians have tenaciously believed in the resurrection for two thousand years. It would be impossible for me not to believe. I know CHRIST has resurrected because HE appeared to me while I was wide awake. HE was sitting on a throne-chair. It was pitch dark in the room, but the vision was bright and clear. Millions or even billions of people will be shocked when they see HIM coming back to earth. They will know what they have done, and know they are lost. They will say “to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of HIM that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the LAMB: For the great day of HIS wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Revelation 6:16-17). Enoch, “the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the LORD cometh with ten thousands of HIS saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against HIM” (Jude 1:14-15).

Today the merciful LORD pleads with you, “Come unto ME, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take MY yoke upon you, and learn of ME; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30). “The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble” (Psalm 9:9).18

I pray for you, that you will repent before it’s too late. Otherwise, Satan will keep you eternally oppressed. You can be delivered from oppression and be set free.19 Become an overcomer, a child of GOD now by saying this prayer:

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11

After salvation, JESUS said to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.12 Then study the King James Version Bible, and, for your benefit and the benefit of others, do what it says.13

CHRIST and GOD the FATHER now live in you through the HOLY SPIRIT. There is a way you can receive a fuller portion of the divine nature of GOD in you. The more the divine nature of GOD lives in you, the more you will be able to stand against the temptations that have so easily moved so many millions of Christians away from salvation. Pray for the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT.14 For instructions on how to receive the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT and to receive more of GOD’S holy nature, ask for our literature or call. For without holiness, no man shall see GOD (Hebrews 12:14).

If you want the world saved, as JESUS commands, then don’t rob GOD of HIS tithes and offerings. GOD said, “Will a man rob GOD? Yet ye have robbed ME. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed THEE? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
