Satan Cannot Make Us Sin

The devil NEVER forces anyone to sin. The devil does not have the power to make you sin. He can only tempt you. If you are overwhelmed by temptation, it is not coming from GOD who tempts no one, but it is coming from the devil, the tempter, the evil one, who hates you and me and wants us to be in Hell with him forever.
“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of GOD: for GOD cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth HE any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death” (James 1:13-15).
The WORD of GOD became flesh,1 and as JESUS, HE came into the world to save souls.2 All who are in this world are sinners. We who are saved were once sinners.3 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD” (Romans 3:23). For this reason, JESUS willingly laid down HIS sinless life, died on a cross, and shed HIS blood as the sacrifice for our sins.4 This was GOD’S perfect plan to redeem fallen mankind and make those who receive HIM sons of GOD.5 When HIS blood is applied to our souls, we are cleansed of all past sins, and we are new creatures, born again of HIS SPIRIT.6
JESUS said, “I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Matthew 9:13). “But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of GOD [by adoption], even to them that believe on HIS name [which is the WORD of GOD]” (John 1:12). We were all spiritually dead in sin, but JESUS made a way for spiritually dead men to be alive in CHRIST.7
After we are saved, we are given power through GOD’S SPIRIT living within us, and we are never to yield ourselves again to temptation. If we do allow ourselves to be overcome by the devil’s temptations, we become followers of the devil, NOT the LORD.8
Again, the devil does not and cannot force you to sin. You choose to reject GOD’S commands and willingly follow Satan. “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death” (James 1:14-15).
We are at war with the spirit of the devil. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).
The devil has declared war against GOD and HIS saints. “And there was war in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon [the devil, Satan]; and the dragon fought and his angels” (Revelation 12:7). “And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against GOD, to blaspheme HIS name, and HIS tabernacle [those of us whom HE lives in9], and them that dwell in Heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” (Revelation 13:6-7).
We don’t use guns, bullets, bombs, or any other carnal weapon. Our weapons are spiritual. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through GOD to the pulling down of strong holds” (2 Corinthians 10:4). “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of GOD, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth [the WORD of GOD], and having on the breastplate of righteousness [which is the WORD of GOD]; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace [which is the WORD of GOD, the SPIRIT]; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked [taking on the shield of faith means knowing and trusting the HOLY SPIRIT, the WORD of GOD]. And take the helmet of salvation [the WORD of GOD, to know you are saved], and the sword of the SPIRIT, which is the WORD of GOD”10 (Ephesians 6:13-17).
We’re at war with the devil, and we know the devil is always looking for ways to destroy us. We must use the armor and weapon GOD has provided for us, the most powerful armor and weapon of all—THE WORD OF GOD (Ephesians 6:17). “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world” (1 Peter 5:8-9). “Neither give place to the devil” (Ephesians 4:27). “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
In the fourth chapter of Luke, you see that JESUS could not be forced to sin. HE resisted the devil with HIS weapon, GOD’S WORD. JESUS shows us that Satan cannot force people to sin, but is merely a tempter, trying to entice whoever he can! JESUS gave us this example: “And Jesus being full of the HOLY SPIRIT returned from Jordan, and was led by the SPIRIT into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days HE did eat nothing: and when they were ended, HE afterward hungered. And the devil said unto HIM, If THOU be the SON of GOD, command this stone that it be made bread. And JESUS answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every WORD of GOD” (Luke 4:1-4). GOD the FATHER told HIM to fast. This is why HE rejected the devil’s temptation, and told him that the WORD of GOD—EVERY MORSEL of it—is the better food to live by.
“And the devil, taking HIM up into an high mountain, showed unto HIM all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto HIM, All this power will I give THEE, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it” (Luke 4:5-6). Here we see that the devil wanted to start the United Nations. He offered JESUS the position of head of the one world government and one world religion (he offered JESUS the position of pope). The devil even bragged that he had the power to give it to anyone who would worship him and sell their soul, as the one world government agents and the pope have done. Satan said, “If THOU therefore wilt worship me, all shall be THINE. And JESUS answered and said unto him, Get thee behind ME, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the LORD thy GOD, and HIM only shalt thou serve” (Luke 4:7-8).
JESUS rejected the position of head of the U.N., the one world government, and pope of its church cult, but some people today have accepted the devil’s offer. How do we know this truth? That’s easy. This fourth and final world-wide kingdom, the one world government and church cult, exists today, and worships and serves the devil.11 This cult has declared war on GOD and HIS people. They blaspheme GOD, HIS people, and those in Heaven. They have outlawed GOD’S WORD, which is the HOLY SPIRIT and life (John 6:63).
“And they worshipped the dragon [the devil] which gave power unto the beast [the one world government]: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies [This is the mainstream media. Have you noticed how the media exalts the pope and the homosexual, child-molesting church?]; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against GOD, to blaspheme HIS name, and HIS tabernacle [we whom HE lives in], and them that dwell in Heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the LAMB slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:4-8).
“And he [the devil] brought HIM [JESUS] to Jerusalem, and set HIM on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto HIM, If THOU be the SON of GOD, cast THYSELF down from hence. For it is written, HE shall give HIS angels charge over THEE, to keep THEE: And in their hands they shall bear THEE up, lest at any time THOU dash THY foot against a stone. And JESUS answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the LORD thy GOD. And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from HIM for a season. And JESUS returned in the power of the SPIRIT into Galilee: and there went out a fame of HIM through all the region round about” (Luke 4:9-14).
The devil didn’t throw JESUS off the pinnacle of the temple, or force HIM in any way. However, he tempted HIM, even using GOD’S WORD in his attempt to persuade, and that is exactly what he does to us. Our condemnation and the devil’s victory are IF we do what he is tempting us to do. We would not go to Hell if the devil had the power to force us to sin. His victory is only if we decide with our free will to do that which he entices and lures us to do. We must study the Bible so we can effectively use this weapon in our spiritual battles.12
The devil didn’t force Adam and Eve to sin by their eating the only fruit in the Garden of Eden that they were forbidden by GOD to eat! He tempted Eve, and she did what he tempted and coaxed her to do. She became the devil’s first evangelist, and then tempted her husband Adam to sin as well (Genesis 3:1-6).
JESUS will only live in and work through people who remain holy by rejecting the devil as HE did. Those who do not follow the devil, but take direction from GOD only, are HIS body.13 HE dwells with us and in us (John 14:23). In our bodies, HE will never do what Satan tells HIM to do. It was easy for HIM, and it will be easy for you if you keep your mind on JESUS, the WORD of GOD,14 and stay in communion with the HOLY SPIRIT.15
Also, by taking part often in the COMMUNION, we remember the LORD’S sacrifice for us as members of HIS body (Matthew 26:26-28).16 We are all different members, supporting and encouraging each other to stay strong spiritually, working together for the winning of souls.17
“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good [which is GOD]” (Romans 12:21). “There is none good but one, that is, GOD” (Mark 10:18), and when HE lives and dwells in us, HE will give us HIS power to resist temptation.18 We must remember who we are—HIS body—and get away from the internet, the TV, the world’s influence, the porn, ALL sin, and resist the evil one.
“Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto GOD, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of right-eousness unto GOD. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace [power]” in the body of CHRIST (Romans 6:13-14). Become a member of the body of CHRIST now by saying this prayer:
Prayer
My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11
After salvation, JESUS said to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.12 Then study the King James Version Bible, and, for your benefit and the benefit of others, do what it says.13
CHRIST and GOD the FATHER now live in you through the HOLY SPIRIT. There is a way you can receive a fuller portion of the divine nature of GOD in you. The more the divine nature of GOD lives in you, the more you will be able to stand against the temptations that have so easily moved so many millions of Christians away from salvation. Pray for the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT.14 For instructions on how to receive the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT and to receive more of GOD’S holy nature, ask for our literature or call. For without holiness, no man shall see GOD (Hebrews 12:14).

If you want the world saved, as JESUS commands, then don’t rob GOD of HIS tithes and offerings. GOD said, “Will a man rob GOD? Yet ye have robbed ME. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed THEE? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
