TALK TO THE DEAD?

I will never pray to anyone but GOD in the name of JESUS because GOD tells us not to seek any other or to pray to anyone but HIM.1 Those instructions are found in Deuteronomy 18:10-13: “There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy GOD doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy GOD.”2
The word “necromancer” or “necromancy” means: “A method of divination through alleged communication with the dead; black art; magic in general; witchcraft.”
Joshua 1:1-2 states: “Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying, Moses my servant is dead.” According to Scripture, most people would believe that JESUS was sinning when HE was transfigured and HE talked with Moses and Elijah: “And after six days JESUS taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and HIS face did shine as the sun, and HIS raiment [clothing] was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah [who was the same as John the Baptist (Matthew 11:10-14)] talking with HIM” (Matthew 17:1-3). JESUS told HIS disciples in Matthew 11:13-14, “For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John [the Baptist]. And if ye will receive it, this [John the Baptist] is [Elijah] Elias, which was for to come [who was beheaded, so his body was dead, as was Moses’. But only their bodies were dead!].”
JESUS said in Matthew 22:31-32, “But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by GOD, saying, I am the GOD of Abraham, and the GOD of Isaac, and the GOD of Jacob? GOD is not the GOD of the dead, but of the living.” The bodies of all these were dead for centuries, but their souls are alive forever.3
Martha told JESUS, “I know that he [her brother, Lazarus] shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. JESUS said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in ME, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in ME shall never die. Believest thou this?” (John 11:24-26).
JESUS said to the Sadducees, “But they which shall be counted worthy to obtain that world [Heaven], and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die anymore: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of GOD, being the children of the resurrection. Now that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he calleth the LORD the GOD of Abraham, and the GOD of Isaac, and the GOD of Jacob. For HE is not a GOD of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto HIM” (Luke 20:35-38).
JESUS said in John 6:47-51, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, HE that believeth on ME hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from Heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from Heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever [like Moses and Elijah]: and the bread that I will give is MY flesh [HIS body], which I will give for the life of the world.”
As I have said, I have never tried to communicate with the dead or those whose bodies are dead. However, their souls are very much alive, because they, if you will receive it, have communicated with me. My late wife Susie is one who has communicated with me.
Before Susie’s death, a brother in CHRIST named Jack, a Jew, was severely chastened by the LORD for years, mainly because he was verbally abusive to his wife. GOD saved him while he was homeless. He was a wino who would sleep under the Santa Monica pier and sometimes in the Santa Monica Sunlight Mission.
One night at the mission, Jack was smoking a cigarette in the dorm when the dorm lit up from behind where he was sitting. It was JESUS. Before this, the LORD woke him up. Jack kept burning himself with his cigarette. He couldn’t help it. His hand which held the cigarette kept moving it to the other hand, but he wasn’t afraid of being burned because he was still numb from wine. Then he saw JESUS. The LORD spoke to him about his soul, and Jack gave his life to the LORD.
The LORD gave him a sweet wife. She had a young child from a former marriage. GOD gave them a nice little house, and his new wife treated him like a king, but he didn’t appreciate it, and he didn’t like her little child.
One day, she got fed up with Jack; he came home to an empty house and a note saying that she was never coming back. He got mad and told the LORD, “I quit!” And the LORD said to Jack in a vision, “You came in the front door, now open the back door (in this vision of the house).” Jack pulled the back door open. He was looking down at a canyon, very deep and steep, and Hell was at the bottom. GOD told him, “If you go out the door, you’ll be in Hell!” HE told Jack (who was kosher and hated children) that he would have to live with Latinos and Filipinos, people who had lots of kids and ate lots of pork and shrimp—non-kosher foods—and he did. He used to come over to our house to visit, and I would get him something kosher to eat.
Then Jack told me that the LORD had told him he was going to die, and he asked me if I would take care of the funeral arrangements. I promised him that I would. Not long after that, Kenny Feldman, who ran the Santa Monica mission, called me and told me that the city of Los Angeles was going to bury Jack in a pauper’s field. I called the coroner’s office and had Jack taken to a funeral home in Santa Monica. After the funeral we arranged, Sue and I were in the back of the limo. The driver was making a left turn out of the cemetery when the clouds moved a bit and a sunbeam hit me in the back of my neck through the rear window. Jack’s voice was in the sunbeam, and he just said two words, which were, “Thanks, Anthony.” My arms flew up when I felt the HOLY SPIRIT, and I began praising the LORD because I knew it was the LORD who allowed Jack, who was very much alive in Heaven, to say those two words to me and to let me feel the HOLY SPIRIT so strongly!
Susie has appeared several times to me. Once, she was very angry with me. The first time, she was very happy. She also spoke to me. This let me know that she was alive and in Heaven because the Bible says the dead know nothing! Ecclesiastes 9:5 says, “For the living know that they shall die [if they are saved, only their bodies will die, but on the last day, even their bodies will be glorified]: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward [in this life]; for the memory of them is forgotten.”
Susie saw JESUS; Jack saw JESUS; Lolly, a friend, saw JESUS; David, another friend of mine, saw JESUS; I believe millions have seen JESUS; and one time in the middle of the night, while I was wide awake with my eyes wide open, I saw JESUS. I know HE is very much alive and well, not just because I saw Him, but because HE gives me guidance and strength through all my trials and struggles. HE always guides me, keeping me calm through every storm, and HE will do the same for you.4
Today’s world is experiencing a huge satanic storm, but storms never last forever. Soon the storms will be all over! So hang on, and hang on tight to JESUS who tells us in Revelation 1:18, “I am HE that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of Hell and of death.”
Colossians 3:1-3 says, “If ye then be risen [alive] with CHRIST, seek those things which are above, where CHRIST sitteth on the right hand of GOD. Set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead [your bodies are, by the HOLY SPIRIT, mortified],5 and your life is hid with CHRIST in GOD.”
Hebrews 11:4 shows that Abel, while dead, speaks: “By faith Abel offered unto GOD a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, GOD testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.”
A sister in my congregation, Kathy Bolpa, cooked faithfully in the cafeteria for years. She had diabetes, and died last week in December 2009. I have never had too much time to spend with almost anyone. However, in my jail cell, where I wasn’t even thinking at all about her, she visited with me for about four days in a very powerful way. The SPIRIT of GOD was letting me know that she was alive and there in Heaven.
I was, at the time, going through some persecution. (The jail has been cutting phone privileges at least half the time that I’ve been here and now is cutting visitation time.) The LORD showed me how happy, full of joy, and filled with tremendous excitement and disbelief she was that she made it to Heaven. Her joy and excitement was the same as mine was when I saw the LORD and thought for a moment that HE was taking me. This strengthened me because I know Romans 8:18: “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
There is no doubt that Kathy, my mother, and everyone in Heaven will have a marvelous Christmas, and Kathy—you made my Christmas a very blessed one. I thank you FATHER GOD and LORD JESUS, who also is the FATHER and the HOLY SPIRIT, for the experience.
Even though the people in Heaven are alive, we are still to pray only to the FATHER in the name of JESUS.6 I was glad when Jack said his two words to me, and I am grateful that GOD let me experience Kathy’s joy and happiness, excitement, and amazement at being there with HIM. I praise my FATHER and SAVIOR for their presence by the HOLY SPIRIT. I pray you will all have a very anointed and spiritual Christmas! I pray GOD sends the HOLY SPIRIT to all backsliders and all the unsaved, including the Muslims!

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11
After salvation, JESUS said to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.12 Then study the King James Version Bible, and, for your benefit and the benefit of others, do what it says.13
CHRIST and GOD the FATHER now live in you through the HOLY SPIRIT. There is a way you can receive a fuller portion of the divine nature of GOD in you. The more the divine nature of GOD lives in you, the more you will be able to stand against the temptations that have so easily moved so many millions of Christians away from salvation. Pray for the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT.14 For instructions on how to receive the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT and to receive more of GOD’S holy nature, ask for our literature or call. For without holiness, no man shall see GOD (Hebrews 12:14).

If you want the world saved, as JESUS commands, then don’t rob GOD of HIS tithes and offerings. GOD said, “Will a man rob GOD? Yet ye have robbed ME. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed THEE? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed ME, even this whole nation [and this whole world]. Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
