THE PREACHER A TEACHER OF NATIONS IN FAITH AND TRUTH

King Solomon “was wise (a soul winner, a preacher of the Word of God), he also taught the people knowledge; yea, he pondered, and sought out and set in order many proverbs.” The preacher, “sought to find out words of delight, and that which was written uprightly, even words of truth. The words of the wise are as goads (sharp prodding instruments to make one know that which is right), and as nails well fastened are those that are composed in collections; they are given from one shepherd” (Ecclesiastes 12:9-11).

“The end of the matter, all having been heard: fear God, and keep His commandments; for this is the whole man (the indwelling new man, Christ Jesus). For God shall bring every work into the judgment concerning every hidden thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:13,14 the original Hebrew Bible).

The Lord has set in my heart, as he did Solomon, to teach the meaning and the interpretation of the proverbs that King Solomon, the preacher, set in order. For I also have sought out, found the Words of God to be delightful, and that which was written to be upright and true.

“The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; To know wisdom and instruction; To comprehend the words of understanding; To receive the discipline of wisdom, Justice, and right, and equity; To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion; That the wise man may hear, and increase in learning, And the man of understanding may attain unto wise counsels; To understand a proverb, and the interpretation (the Lord’s figure of speech); The words of the wise, and their dark sayings. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; But the foolish despise wisdom and discipline” (Proverbs 1:1-7 Hebrew).

According to God, a foolish nation is a nation that refuses to receive the discipline of God’s holy commandments. God gives the power of discipline through His Son, Christ Jesus, to those who ask Jesus to dwell in their spirit. When one asks God for this, Jesus enters the soul’s spirit (the soul’s life) by the Holy Spirit. The attainment of God’s power can only be received through Christ’s entry into man’s spirit by the Holy Spirit. It is then that the mystery of God can be received and accomplished. Spiritual understanding and discernment through study and discipline of obedience of God’s Words make understanding and discernment possible.

“To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity...My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck” (Proverbs 1:2,3,8,9).

One of the most important truths and laws of God is that the world would be saved by God’s messengers preaching the gospel message. “...it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe” (I Corinthians 1:21).

God says in Jeremiah 15:19 that His messengers, the preachers of the Gospel, are the same (exactly the same) as God’s mouth. The minister of the Gospel, the true soul winner with the message from God, has the message that separates the precious from the vile. The precious are those that receive God’s Word and the vile are those that reject God’s Word. As in Jeremiah chapter 24, verses 1-4, baskets of good figs and evil figs represent good and evil people. Jesus was saying that on the day of judgment it would be more tolerable for the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrha than it would be for those that would reject salvation from the Lord’s mouth, His disciples, His preachers, ministering exactly the message that God’s mouth says.

Jesus further explained to his disciples, “And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words (which are my Words, God’s Words), when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city” (Matthew 10:14-15).

God’s Word says death is better than birth but not if your soul is lost. Your soul would go to hell if your soul wasn’t saved. So, the Scripture’s meaning is spiritual and the spiritual meaning is on the day that a person receives salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ is the day they die out to Satan and his works and become alive to God and His works. Mortification or death of the carnal way of life is absolutely a must in order to receive God’s life. Our old, satanic life and nature must be trampled underfoot, die and stay dead, and God’s life in Christ, cherished and clung to.

The human heart must receive the knowledge, the discernment of the value of eternal life, the price that was paid must be discerned, that the heart can be truly thankful to God, to be able to give true, thankful appreciation because the price that was paid for your and my soul was the death of God’s only begotten Son. If this thankfulness is not fully discerned, one truly cannot project thankfulness to God with sincerity and if thankfulness is not projected sincerely from the heart, salvation would be impossible. “Kiss the Son, (which means give obedience to the Lord, keep His commandments, obey Him) lest he (God) be angry, and ye perish from the way (the way of salvation), when his wrath is kindled but a little” (Psalm 2:12).

“It is better to go to the house of mourning, Than to go to the house of feasting; For that is the end of all men.” It is better to go to the house of mourning (to honestly be grieved at the deception of the world because of sinful lust) Than to go to the house of feasting; for that is the end (destruction, because of the lust of it by the non-bridling of the tongue) of all men. Those servants of Christ mourn for the wholeness of Christ’s body, the dead that have not yet been quickened, who will, when called, allow Him to, through the Holy Spirit, cleave their hearts and thereby dwell with them in love, in holy wedlock, making them the whole, new man.

From the Hebrew Bible, Ecclesiastes 12:13 states, “The end of the matter, all having been heard: fear God, and keep His commandments; for this is the whole man. For God shall bring every work into the judgment concerning every hidden thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil.” “All having been heard,” we, the prophets, the saints, and all that love the Lord, that hear what the Spirit saith; we, the church are the tabernacle wherein the kingdom of heaven dwelleth.

The Pharisees demanded from Jesus, “When the kingdom of God should come...The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:20-21). The ministers who are joined to Christ through the Holy Spirit mourn and travail together with Christ for the remainder of the bride of Christ who have not yet heard the call (the message, the Spirit). The voice of Christ calling is the Word of God delivered by the preacher, to wake up all those who will join God, the Son of God, through the Holy Spirit in this most honorable and merciful endeavor of God. Those who receive the glorious message from God’s Word are receiving the Holy Spirit’s quickening, life-bringing message, which only has the power to raise from the dead the holy, sacred, virgin bride of Christ, who will remain holy and a virgin (meaning will not serve any other God or turn back from Christ when persecution comes), who when called, will rejoice with Christ and not mourn, but for souls who are yet lost, will not sit idle. They with Christ will continue the fight for souls, and when a soul is won, there is rejoicing on earth and in heaven. Thus, God “hast turned for me my mourning into dancing” (Psalm 30:11).

The Devil’s whore has the kiss of death (vache de morte). And the Lord who first loved us, then died, then raised from the dead, kisses His virgin, sacred bride with the kiss of life. He quickened His ministers, His saints, and His witnesses to life by His love. Then when awakened to life through love, when the servants of the Lord die to their own ways, that they may work with Christ in union with the holy fires of beauty, the Holy Spirit helping Christ as a Spirit to bring about life eternal, the remainder of Christ’s body, His bride will hear and come to life when they hear Him call (John 10:27). Those who hear His voice and His voice only, because they are the chaste virgin bride, He is their husband who has kissed them to life by the quickening power of the Holy Spirit through preachers. “How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” (Romans 10:15). Then let the beautiful feet run everywhere in the world. Beautiful feet carrying the holy fires, beautiful fires, set the world on fire with life, God’s life through Christ, the Prince of life (Acts 3:15).

The reasoning, the strategy of Christ, of His command to preach the Gospel to every nation, for the way is straight and narrow for the few that will hear, is not discerned by any other means than preaching (from Moses, the prophets, Jesus, the disciples, or today’s true preacher) (Matthew 28:19, 7:14). So, the hearers that are the bride are only discerned by preaching as was Lazarus from the dead (John 12:17).

The devil who kissed his whore to death is trying to kiss the virgin bride of Christ to death. He’s trying to seduce and compromise Christ’s bride (Revelation 2:20). “For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory” (II Corinthians 3:9). Therefore, the law is the kiss of death because it pronounces death to all, because “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:20). Therefore, all are dead because life and power to keep the law is in Christ entering our spirit.

The kiss of death is the law of God which was engraved by God on tables of stone which Moses brought down the mountain. And the kiss of life is Christ’s blood which takes away the kiss of death, which is sin committed by us against the law engraved on the tables of stone. Through faith, Christ, through the Holy Spirit, enters our spirit which makes us alive in the Lord, who is the life and the resurrection. Thus Christ kisses us to life, His holy, chaste, sacred, lively bride, who engages (joins) herself beautifully for the very same purpose as His purpose for others. Those that mourn shall rejoice.

“And the living (those united spirits with Christ by the Holy Spirit, quickened to life) will lay it to his heart (will understand and keep the understanding of the being married to Christ process). Vexation (because of the world’s sinful and lost condition and sure condemnation) is better than laughter (today’s false, temporary, mad solution); for by the sadness (concern) of the countenance the heart may be gladdened (because of concern, those who are joined to the Lord are one in thought with His concern).” They pray in faith, believing God, who, of course, is the head of the holy nation, and He (God) hears and answers, souls are rescued, saved through preaching. The heart of God and the hearts of those who mourned, and pray to God are gladdened. “But the heart of fools (those who say there is no God) is in the house of mirth.”

“It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise (to hear God’s preachers warn, from God’s warnings from the Bible), than for a man to hear the song of fools (those who refuse God’s Word). For as the crackling of thorns under a pot (thorns are sterile, they cannot produce life), So is the laughter of the fool; This also is vanity (empty, valueless).”

“Surely oppression turneth a wise man into a fool;” This would be if the wise man would not seek God’s deliverance through prayer. Prayer is an act of faith that God hears and answers. A believing, faith-filled petitioner pleases God. It is impossible to please God without believing that He is, that He exists, that He hears and answers our prayers. Let not that man think that he shall receive anything without faith (James 1:7, Hebrews 11:6). Oppression turns wise men into fools because instead of praying to God in faith when oppression comes, many times they seek relief in alcohol, drugs, sex, entertainment, the house of mirth, thus making them fools because they believe not God for deliverance. The soul is incapable of delivering itself. Alcohol, drugs, sex, entertainment, and mirth are incapable of delivering one’s soul. Deliverance is found only by the Lord’s salvation, then continuing to keep one’s self spotless from sin through the purging power of God’s water. The Lord identifies the spiritual cleansing water that purges and cleanses the soul of false doctrines, traditions, any impurities, to be the holy, cleansing, spiritual Word of God. Carnal water can clean and nourish the carnal man but spiritual water is the water that can only cleanse and nourish the spiritual man (John 4:10-14, 15:3, Ephesians 5:26)

This believer is united in thought with God, fervently seeks God’s deliverance in the name of Jesus, and is delivered, thus, proving God’s way of deliverance to be true and all other methods, such as sin, drugs, alcohol, sex, entertainment and mirth, to be false.

“And a gift destroyeth the understanding” (one bringing a solution to the oppressed other than the instructions for deliverance contained within God’s Words) (Ecclesiastes 7:7). “Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding” (Job 28:28). Departing from sinful deliverances belongs to those who possess God’s understanding and wisdom.

Verse eight: “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof;” meaning, when oppression comes, then God is sought for deliverance, the end result will be better. God says, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you” (Matthew 7:7). Attending to getting good results through following God’s knowledge, means keep all of God’s commandments. This is the way true Christians live. When we were unsaved and without the knowledge of the Word of God, we, of course, never would have attended to remove oppression the right way, God’s way, the way that brings true, lasting results which is the only true way to END OPPRESSION. Illumination of the facts of deliverance is God’s Word. The soul is incapable of illuminating itself. God’s Word must be sought for this. The simple must cease from simplicity and become wise for deliverance.

“How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity?” (Proverbs 1:22) Meaning, how long will you, who have never sought and found deliverance through God’s Word, love not seeking and finding deliverance from God’s Word? and continue to love the emptiness, futility, and frustration of not being able to find deliverance through alcohol, drugs, sex, entertainment, mirth, or other artificialities, blind alleys, and dead ends?

“And the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” The patient in spirit meaning one who patiently trusts God at all costs, no matter what assails, are better than the proud in spirit, meaning those in pride who prefer their means of deliverances above and before God’s tested, proven and sure way of deliverance. To patiently trust God for deliverance during oppression or adverse circumstances, we are to keep our mind focused on God, God’s work, diligently keeping His instructions through the storm, not focusing on self, preferring others before ourselves, reaching out to others by feeding the hungry, covering the naked, housing the homeless and destitute, rescuing and defending the weak from the hand of the mighty, preaching God’s cheerful message of rescue to those drowning in the confusion of no Godly direction, and at the same time, keeping one’s self totally unspotted from the world, patiently continuing on in what God says is well-doing (James 1:27, Romans 2:7). Then, to pray to God and be delivered is far better than being the proud in spirit.

“Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry;” meaning be not angry at God because He wants you to follow His way for your own soul’s sake. God’s ways are the ways of true deliverance that you may escape hell fire forever. “For anger (at God’s way of life) resteth in the bosom of fools,” meaning disbelievers in God are angered when they hear they must keep all the commandments of God in order to escape hell and enter into heaven. They despise hearing the truth that there is no other way possible. God doesn’t change His rules ever. It is written He is “the same yesterday, and to-day, and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8). Strong discipline must be kept in God’s army to keep God’s Word and do it. God’s army of cross-carrying soldiers are to remember that “strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:14). And we also must never forget that we must “endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” (II Timothy 2:3). “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13); and “Be not weary in well-doing” (II Thessalonians 3:13). God is no respecter of persons for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, but those who will not, shall be damned because they are fools (Acts 10:34, 2:21, Mark 16:16). “The fool hath said in his heart, ‘There is no God’” (Psalm 14:1).

“Say not thou: ‘How was it that the former days were better than these?’” That would be to foolishly say you were better off when you were unsaved and on your way to hell, than now when you are saved and on your way to heaven. “For it is not out of wisdom that thou inquirest concerning this.” The fear of the Lord is wisdom (Job 28:28, Proverbs 9:10). The true fear of the Lord and nothing else motivates one to zealously seek the Lord.

Ecclesiastes chapter 7, verse 11: “Wisdom is good with an inheritance” means to fear God is good because we will only keep God’s commandments if we fear Him (Deuteronomy 4:10, 5:29). And if we keep His commandments, we have an inheritance, and that inheritance is eternal life. “Yea, a profit to them that see the sun,” meaning salvation is only attainable during one’s lifetime. After one who is lost dies, it is impossible for the inheritance of heaven to be attained, for “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). After death comes immediate judgment. According to the penalty from God because of man’s sin, we must die once, and not twice, or multitudes of times. God pronounced this judgment upon Adam and Eve that they and their children, (the entire human race), shall die once, and we shall not reincarnate, come back anywhere in some other form or creature, to die again, or again, and again.

Wisdom is not found among the dead but the living. Repentance must be made during life, not after death. And obedience to God will be kept during one’s life and not after death. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (II Corinthians 5:10).

“For wisdom is a defence, and this means to fear God and be obedient to all His commandments is the key that engages the Almighty to be our defender, hence making it possible to attain certain victory. “If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)

“Even as money is a defence (money is a carnal defence for some carnal things); but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom (the fear of God) preserveth the life of him that hath it.” God said only by fearing God will we keep His commandments (Deuteronomy 4:10, 5:29), and by so doing, God defends us in this life and we are preserved eternally with life which no amount of money can buy. “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36)

Verse 13: “Consider the work of God” saying, you better weigh out true deliverance and live your life according to God’s truth of it. “For who can make that straight, which he (God) hath made crooked?” God said sin is crooked and no man can or will make it straight at judgment. “In the day of prosperity be joyful,” meaning, in the day that you gain true prosperity, receive the riches of God’s Word, which is above the price of rubies and gold and nothing to be compared to it (Job 28:18-19 ). Learn the ways of God, be glad, be happy that you are rich, eternally rich. Your treasure is guaranteed by God in God’s city. “And in the day of adversity consider;” meaning, during the time of trouble, you are able to put God’s Word into action, the riches of the Word that you learned in the day of prosperity.

“God hath made even the one as well as the other,” means He teaches us to live according to His will, making us joyful, then causes adversity when we depart from His will to our own, that we flee back into His will that we not die. “To the end that man should find nothing after him,” meaning God’s way is everything, including life eternal, and man’s way is nothing but death forevermore.

King Solomon stated, “All things have I seen in the days of my vanity; there is a righteous man that perisheth in his righteousness,” meaning there is a man that sinfully walks after what HE FEELS IS RIGHT rather than walking in the commandments of God’s Word (God’s righteousness). This man’s ways deceive many and because of it many, including himself, perish (spend eternity in hell—false prophets, heretics, and seducers who deceive many). Those who say, “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:22-23). “And there is a wicked man (obviously wicked but not a hypocrite) that prolongeth his life (in this world) in his evil-doing.”

Verse 16: “Be not righteous overmuch (means be righteous only in the Lord’s righteousness, His ways); neither make thyself overwise (meaning not to use your own wisdom but God’s wisdom only); why shouldest thou destroy thyself? (meaning ‘Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve’ [Matthew 4:10]).”

Verse 17: “Be not overmuch wicked (meaning break not one of God’s commandments. Breaking one is far too wicked, ‘For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all’ [James 2:10].) Neither be thou foolish (meaning to believe that God is not watching. He trieth us ‘every moment’ [Job 7:18]).” Again, “foolish” (meaning those who don’t believe, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God” [Psalm 53:1]). “Why shouldest thou die before thy time? (‘The fear of the Lord prolongeth days; but the years of the wicked shall be shortened’ [Proverbs 10:27]).”

Verse 18: “It is good that thou shouldest take hold of the one;” meaning, follow the one and only way to eternal life by not being a hypocrite. Do not walk in heresy, pretense, your own righteousness, but in the Lord’s righteousness, His Word, Christ, through the Holy Spirit. Take fast hold of life through Jesus, who is the one. “Yea also from the other withdraw not thy hand;” meaning, don’t depart from doing the works of the Lord God. “For he that feareth God shall discharge himself of them all” (will remove himself from hypocrisy, which is cloaked wickedness or open wickedness, thus discharging himself from both evils).

Verse 19: “Wisdom (the true fear of God) is a stronghold to the wise man (‘He that winneth souls is wise’ [Proverbs 11:30]), more than ten rulers that are in a city (rulers that rule not according to God’s ways).”

Verse 20: “For there is not a righteous man upon earth.” Meaning, the day of mortification of our own ways must take place. Our old, unprofitable, sinful ways must die and we must become alive to God’s righteousness by Christ through the Holy Spirit dwelling in our spirits by our inviting Him to dwell in our spirits, and receive forgiveness of all of our sins by faith in the cleansing power of the blood of the Messiah, the Saviour, the Lord God Almighty, that He shed on the cross in our place for us. His Spirit, by the Holy Spirit, enters our spirit, thus uniting us to Him through His power. We now have power through the Holy Spirit over Satan, his temptations of sin, power over death and hell and fear of death and all things, where before we had no power at all in this world or the world to come, only the dread of the looking for of the penalties of death, hell, and hell’s eternal torments.

No, there is none “that doeth good, and sinneth not.” This means none but Christ. That’s why we must invite Christ into our spirit by the Holy Spirit, become mortified (dead) to our old, sinful nature, our way of righteousness and satanic ways, thus being alive and righteous in Him. This is done by uniting with the Spirit of God through Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit for power over the flesh. And mortification of all our former sinful ways is more than accomplished through the operation of God’s life-quickening process to life eternal through the assurance of God’s powerful Holy Spirit, not ours.

“Also take not heed unto all words that are spoken (not to be a busybody [II Thessalonians 3:11, I Timothy 5:13, I Peter 4:15]), lest thou hear thy servant curse thee.” This could make you indignant and angry. This could cause you to do something rash against your employee. Our defense is to be for the Gospel, not ourselves. Remember, we have seen the day of our mortification, our dead ways are to be, in fact, dead. We can not live eternally (have eternal life) by our own way. “Man doth not live by bread only but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord” (Deuteronomy 8:3, Luke 4:4).

I Corinthians 6:17 saith, “But he that is joined (united) unto the Lord is one spirit.” Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock (knock at the door of our hearts): if any man hear my voice, and open the door (your spirit, the door of your heart, your soul), I (Jesus) will come in to him (by the Holy Spirit), and will sup with him, and he with me” (means will eat spiritual bread and water, the Word of God with Jesus [Revelation 3:20]).

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you (this means, in you after salvation), which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” After you die out to works of darkness, (mortify your old ways) and accept God’s terms to receive life, which is only in Christ through the Holy Spirit, you become dead to the works of darkness, (the you that was before you were born again); because life is in the Lord only. Which really is not yours, but we live in Christ remaining in us, “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s” (I Corinthians 6:19-20).

Verse 22: “For oftentimes (before you were saved) also thine own heart knoweth that thou thyself likewise hast cursed others.” Verse 23: “All this have I tried by wisdom;” Solomon says that through the fear of the Lord, he did what God said and found it to be true. But before this, Solomon said, “I will get wisdom;” meaning before he accepted God’s wisdom, “but it was far from me.”

Verse 24: “That which is (of the Lord) is far off, and exceeding deep; who can find it out?” (Only those that seek God’s truth must find it God’s way, according to God’s instructions. For God’s ways are spiritually discerned, known only by those who walk in God’s Spirit and the carnal man cannot know the depths of the spirit of God because He is dead to the Spirit of God. He has not opened his spirit, his ear, his soul to the quickening Spirit of life in Christ through the Holy Spirit, and he cannot know God because he that does not acknowledge the Son, cannot know the Father nor have the Spirit of life, nor God’s wisdom, knowledge or understanding because they are all the same spirit.)

Solomon said, “I turned about (I repented), and applied my heart to know and to search out, and to seek wisdom (not my wisdom, but God’s wisdom. (‘Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?’ [I Corinthians 1:20]), and the reason of things, and to know wickedness to be folly (as God says it is), and foolishness to be madness (as God’s Word says it is), and I find more bitter than death the woman (the satanic woman), whose heart is snares and nets (the woman who would not serve God and who would stop or attempt to stop or try to lure a man, a woman or child away from serving the Lord by using Satan’s wily allurements, tricks, and evil skills), And her hands as bands (her satanic, demanding spirit); whoso pleaseth God (meaning whosoever loves God’s life eternal and not this present world, the deception of lust) shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.” Meaning, those that are dead, disobedient to God’s Word, and unconcerned about eternal life through all of His Son’s and the Holy Spirit’s preparations and sacrifice of God’s Son that we might have life, shall be taken by her into the bowels of hell’s inferno forever.

Verse 27: “Behold, this have I found,” saith King Solomon, the preacher of God’s Word, “adding one thing to another (finding that God’s Word never contradicts itself from one Scripture to another, line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little [Isaiah 28:10]).” The Preacher, by adding it all up, finds that God’s Word reconciles, accounts, totals, bottom lines factually, everything. “To find out the account; which yet my soul sought, but I found not; one man among a thousand have I found (that will receive God’s truth); but a woman among all those have I not found.”

This is why King Solomon stated, “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies” (Proverbs 31:10). A virtuous woman is a woman who has accepted the Lord God’s Saviour into her spirit by the Holy Spirit. She receives to do all of God’s will as the Son of God did. “The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, (using always God’s guideline through the fear of God, her husband can trust her to always do good, to co-work with him in serving God) And he hath no lack of gain.” He will not lose his place in God because of her, but because she walks with him in God’s Holy Spirit, helping her husband in God’s ministry, she, his helpmate in the Holy Spirit will help his ministry prosper and gain and not lose, because “two are better than one” (Ecclesiastes 4:9). “And a threefold cord is not quickly broken:” the husband, the wife and the Lord—God’s temple, God’s ministry, the whole man (Ecclesiastes 4:12). “She doeth him good and not evil All the days of her life.” She keeps the commandments so that the curses of God do not fall on the ministry, only God’s blessing.

“She is like the merchant-ships; She bringeth her food from afar.” This means that she receives Moses, the prophets, and the entire Word of God as being God’s truth. This is her manna or bread of life, her food. “She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household.” This means in this dark world, she is raised by God’s light, His Word, and giveth food, ministers the light of God’s Word to her household, teaches her children all of God’s ways, and shares it with her husband, who of course ministers his to her and the children and the world the spiritual manna that he receives from the Lord. “And a portion to her maidens.” She ministers the Word of life also to the domestic help in her house.

“She girdeth her loins with strength, And maketh strong her arms.” Part of the armor of God is the girdle of truth which holds together all the other pieces of armor such as the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, and above all, the shield of faith, in God’s Word the weapon of defense, our spiritual weapon, the Word of God, the Sword, the shoes of the preparation of the Gospel of peace, the cloak of zeal to do God’s will. She makes sure that she knows and keeps the Word of God. “Her lamp goeth not out by night” (meaning she doesn’t have mood swings after the sun goes down to do evil). The illumination of God’s Word remains with a true worshipper of God, a woman who worships God as Jesus said, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23-24).

“Yea, she (the Godly woman) reacheth forth her hands to the needy.” This is to have God’s compassion, to help the creation of God, who are without money, reaching out to them in help, the identical way that we would like to be helped if we were in their identical circumstance, not just a help with leftovers or broken things, but administering to them with the best that we have, as though unto the Lord (Malachi 1:8, Matthew 25:40), with full aid, which would include defense and protection with total confidence in our hearts to go all the way, knowing that the reward is sure because we do it as to the Lord. All humans are to be treated (according to God’s holy Word) as though they were the Lord, so that protection and defense is meant to mean (based on God’s meaning) protection and defense of all persons, as though they were more than ourselves (Romans 12:10), as though they were the Lord Himself, no matter who they are, protection and defense to those who are suffering injustices from the hand of the powerful and provide for them the shelter of whatever strength and protection we have to provide, by the almighty force of the just and holy truth found of God’s judgments in His Word. Let always this truth arise from this earth as a sweet smelling savor unto the Lord, and justice will look down. Do we trust the Lord to bless, reward us as He says He will? Psalm 84:12 confirms, “O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.” We please God and are blessed when we break and deal our bread to the hungry, open our facilities, our churches, our houses to the homeless destitutes, when we cover the naked, and not despise our co-workers who devour our provisions with us, given to us by God.

“Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart” (Zechariah 7:9-10).

“Strength (God’s strength) and dignity (the dignity of being God’s ambassador) are her clothing (she’s clothed in righteousness of God’s Holy Spirit); and she laugheth at the time to come.” She’s not afraid of the future of God’s judgment. She will rejoice because she walks in the Holy Spirit. “She openeth her mouth with wisdom; (not her wisdom or the world’s wisdom, which is foolishness to God, but is united to God and His wisdom, being the fear of the Lord) and the law of kindness is on her tongue.”

“She looketh well to the ways of her household,” and not to outside interests (which according to God are satanic). “Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favor is deceitful and beauty is vain; but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised” (Proverbs 31:10-30).

“Lo, this only have I found, that God made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions” (Ecclesiastes 7:29). Man was made good till he disbelieved and disobeyed God and believed and obeyed Satan and thus lost the Godly nature of Christ Jesus, the Light of God’s Word, and because of it, took on the wicked nature of Satan. This satanic nature will depart upon repentance. The Godly nature will be restored by humbly coming to Christ who never sinned, never disobeyed God, but gave His sinless self in place of our sinful selves. Now, the option is open to us to receive a second chance to be reconciled to God, when we receive forgiveness of sins and are thankful for eternal life, by faith in His sinless blood that was shed by Him on His cross at Calvary. Inviting Christ into our heart, He then enters our heart through the Holy Spirit. The Lord has never refused anyone making this request. Salvation is the gift of God, and cannot be purchased by any other means in heaven or on earth (Ephesians 2:8). You shall receive salvation and the nature of the Lord by sincerely asking God for repentance by praying to Him this prayer:

Prayer

My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.

Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
