WHAT WILL YE THAT I SHALL DO UNTO YOU?

One of the most dynamic messages in the entire Bible (KJV) to me is Matthew 20:30-32. It will be as powerful to you as well if you are able to meditate on it until it takes hold in your spirit, your mind, and your soul.

Matthew 20:30-32: “And, behold, two blind men [this message is not for blind men only] sitting by the way side, when they heard that JESUS passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O LORD, THOU SON of DAVID. And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O LORD, THOU SON of DAVID. And JESUS stood still, and called them, and said, WHAT WILL YE THAT I SHALL DO UNTO YOU?”

There is no doubt that Jesus meant “I SHALL DO WHATSOEVER YOU WANT ME TO DO UNTO YOU!” JESUS is not merely saying this. HE has full faith that HE is much more than able to give these two men whatever they are praying, crying, asking HIM to do! “I SHALL DO UNTO YOU!”

With full faith in JESUS’ ability to do whatever they ask, “THEY SAY UNTO HIM, LORD, THAT OUR EYES MAY BE OPENED. SO JESUS HAD COMPASSION ON THEM, AND TOUCHED THEIR EYES: AND IMMEDIATELY THEIR EYES RECEIVED SIGHT, AND THEY FOLLOWED HIM” (Matthew 20:33-34).

Today, as I finished reading those scriptures, I began praying because the LORD’S SPIRIT was upon me mightily. THE HOLY SPIRIT AT THAT TIME REVEALED THAT THIS READING IS NOT ONLY ABOUT HEALING THE BLIND.

You and I have many things to pray to JESUS for! HE is the FULNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY! “For in HIM dwelleth all the FULNESS of the GODHEAD BODILY” (Colossians 2:9). “WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE” (Matthew 19:26b). “ONLY BELIEVE!” (Mark 5:36b), AND HE WILL DO IT!

If you believe Jesus and His rules, you can be saved and your prayers can be answered. You may ask, “What do you mean, ‘If I believe and follow the rules’? Does GOD have rules for us to follow before we can be saved and before our prayers can be answered?” Oh, YES. As a matter of fact, GOD IS THE RULE MAKER.

I am sure the two blind men followed a few of God’s rules, such as “PRAY WITHOUT CEASING,” and “PRAY ALWAYS!” (1 Thessalonians 5:17, Luke 21:36). The multitude couldn’t shut these two guys up. They had heard that JESUS could do this sort of thing, they BELIEVED IT, and they would not be denied. They would not be quiet until JESUS STOOD STILL, called them, and said, “What will ye that I shall do unto you?” They told HIM what they desired, HE touched their eyes, and immediately their eyes received sight (Matthew 20:30-34).

All people need deliverance from something.1 There is nothing we can do to save ourselves.2 We do not participate in our salvation, our healing, or our deliverance. WE MUST RELY ONLY ON JESUS. HE IS OUR SAVIOR,3 OUR HEALER,4 AND OUR DELIVERER.5 Those of us who are saved were like you that are not yet saved, like dead men floating in the midst of the ocean with no hope without JESUS. However, JESUS came to make dead people alive, and for eternity!6 “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to GOD by the death of HIS SON, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by HIS LIFE” (Romans 5:10). YOU WERE NOT BORN TO REMAIN LOST! IF YOU ASK GOD IN JESUS, LIKE THE TWO BLIND MEN, TO HELP YOU, JESUS WILL ANSWER YOU, SAVE YOU, HEAL YOU, AND DELIVER YOU. BUT YOU MUST ASK, AND YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN OF GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT.7 BEGIN NOW BY ASKING GOD TO SAVE YOUR SOUL WITH THIS PRAYER:

Prayer

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up your cross daily and follow JESUS for the purpose of mortifying your flesh, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of CHRIST.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of CHRIST. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God with Christ on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for GOD in CHRIST on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the WORD of GOD, submit yourselves one to another, and do what the WORD says so that the church and the world may see evidence of your submission to GOD’S WORD, HIS order, and HIS authority in and by you.

Praise the LORD. May GOD bless and reward you abundantly.
