SERVE GOD AND LIVE

“And Asa [King of Judah] did that which was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his GOD” (2 Chronicles 14:2). This is what a nation must do first, that is, if they want GOD to fight for them and to help them to win every battle Satan brings before them.

Verses 3-7: “For [Asa, King of Judah] took away the altars of the strange gods [false gods], and the high places [where they worshipped and exalted these false gods], and brake down the images [the statues], and cut down the groves [park-like areas where these foolish people worshipped their devil-inspired false gods, such as each other with unlawful sex]: And [Asa] commanded Judah [the capital of Judah is Jerusalem] to seek the LORD GOD of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandments.

And “Also [Asa] took away out of all the cities of Judah [such as Bethlehem, Hebron, and all the others] the high places and the images. [Why did he bother to do all these things? It is because he wanted to have GOD on his side, just in case any demonic nation that wanted to become a one-world nation decided to come up against Judah to destroy it as they are trying to do today, and because he desired peace and quiet. Plus, when he died, and he knew some day he would, he wanted to have peace with GOD in his death, and he wanted himself and all of Judah to go to Heaven. He knew that even when you do everything you can to please the LORD GOD, the devil will still attack, so] …he [Asa] built fenced cities in Judah: for the land had rest, and he had no war in those years; because the LORD had given him rest.” Asa said to Judah, “Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars [iron bars], while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our GOD, and HE has given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.” This is quite unlike the leadership of the United States under the counsel of the Vatican’s U.N., which takes our resources and distributes them to our enemies, who are under the control of our enemy, the devil, Satan, the great red dragon, he who has deceived the whole world (Revelation 12:9). Asa strengthened his nation, Judah, not the other nations!

GOD lets us know this through the prophet Jehu speaking to Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, who strengthened Ahab, King of Israel, an evil king married to Jezebel. Jehu told Jehoshaphat this message from the LORD GOD: “Should you help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? Therefore is wrath upon you from before the LORD” (2 Chronicles 19:2).

You people of the United States seem to be wondering where all the wrath of GOD is coming from, the curses, and why the U.S. is weaker than ever and bankrupt. You are helping those who hate GOD. You have forgotten GOD and your own nation. You are distributing our wealth to those who hate GOD and us, when our own nation needs to strengthen itself and to seek GOD with all of our hearts, souls, and strength. We must repent and quit giving our nation away. We must quit honoring homosexuality, abortion, murder, and anti-GOD, anti-CHRIST, anti-the WORD of GOD, anti-Christian, pro-Satan false religions, which are all evil!

Second Chronicles 14:8-15 states, “And Asa had an army of men that bare targets and spears, out of Judah three hundred thousand; and out of Benjamin, that bare shields and drew bows, two hundred and eighty thousand: all these were mighty men of valour. And there came out against them Zerah the Ethiopian with an host of a million, and three hundred thousand and three hundred chariots; and came unto Mareshah. Then Asa went out against him, and they set the battle in array in the valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.

“And Asa cried unto the LORD his GOD [and my GOD, too] and said, LORD, it is nothing with YOU to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our GOD; for we rest on YOU, and in YOUR NAME we go against this multitude. O LORD, YOU are our GOD; let no man prevail against YOU.

“So the LORD smote the Ethiopians before Asa, and before Judah; and the Ethiopians fled. And Asa and the people that were with him pursued them unto Gerar: and the Ethiopians were overthrown, that they could not recover themselves; for they were destroyed before the LORD, and before HIS host; and they carried away very much spoil. And they smote all the cities round about Gerar; for the fear of the LORD came upon them: and they spoiled all the cities; for there was exceeding much spoil in them. They smote also the tents of cattle, and carried away sheep and camels in abundance, and returned to Jerusalem.”

A nation should do what GOD says! We should strengthen ourselves instead of weakening ourselves, instead of strengthening other nations that hate us and hate GOD. Then would we be strong and prosper. We should appoint GOD over us, not man. Man fails; GOD never fails! We are not doing GOD any favors if we do what HE commands, we are doing ourselves the favor.

Don’t be a fool. Repent now, or you will surely perish. Repent of your sins initially by saying this prayer:

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11
