THE TWO OLIVE TREES

To be a witness for GOD is, first of all, a matter of being chosen, called out of the world to be devoted to GOD in CHRIST.1 You must be a person who doesn’t take lightly the revelation of the WORD of GOD, but pledges their life to the pouring out of themselves through the golden oil from above, which is the HOLY SPIRIT, the WORD of GOD, unto the lost people of the world. GOD deposits HIS SPIRIT into us, and HE expects us to pour out HIS revelations, which HE deposits into us, to the world.2 True witnesses for GOD will think of themselves to be like a bank in which GOD has deposited HIS WORD. HIS WORD, which exceeds the value of silver, gold, and rubies, is not to be compared to them (silver, gold, rubies). “Receive MY instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it” (Proverbs 8:10-11).3
We are containers, banks, for this precious substance, and as time passes, the WORD or deposit settles like sediment in us so that we know the full meaning of hard-to-understand sentences and all that which GOD has deposited into us. We Christians, not Catholics, now are HIS containers, HIS banks, HIS witnesses.4 At first, it is like a partial payment, but as we seek and develop, we come into the full knowledge or full payment of that which we have been given, or received into us like banks. The bowl is a bonded warehouse (Zechariah 4:2).
Revelation 1:1 starts out by saying, “The Revelation of JESUS CHRIST, which GOD gave unto HIM, to show unto HIS servants [HIS banks, HIS witnesses] things which must shortly come to pass; and HE sent and signified it by HIS angel unto HIS servant [bank] John: Who bare record of the WORD of GOD, and of the testimony of JESUS CHRIST, and of all things that he saw. [In other words, he poured out from himself the revelations which GOD deposited into him. This is also the duty of every witness, bank, or vessel. Please read the rest of chapter one of Revelation, for the time is at hand.]
“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. John to the seven churches which are in Asia [Turkey]: Power be unto you, and peace, from HIM which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven SPIRITS which are before HIS throne; And from JESUS CHRIST, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto HIM that loved us, and washed us from our sins in HIS own blood” (Revelation 1:1-5).
“And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks” (Revelation 1:12). “I am HE that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of Hell and of death. Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter” (Revelation 1:18-19).
The candelabra or menorah is symbolic or a scale model of the accumulation of all the SPIRIT-filled churches in the world, the churches that have received the deposits of GOD’S WORD as a bank would receive money to take care of or be the stewards of because they are the body or temple of GOD in CHRIST, who is the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily (in one body).5 John is one of HIS banks, HIS temples, and Zechariah is also one of HIS banks or temples. In chapter four of Zechariah, GOD shows him a vision, which is verified in the book of Revelation and Ecclesiastes (Ecclesiastes 12:5-7).
“And the angel that talked with me [Zechariah] came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep, And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes [pipelines to Heaven to talk, communicate, with GOD—the seven SPIRITS of GOD] to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof” (Zechariah 4:1-2).
The Hebrew menorah has seven candlesticks or lamps which represent all the SPIRIT-filled churches of GOD throughout the world. The light of these churches, which is the WORD of GOD, is to never go out (Leviticus 6:8-9, 12). The light of them is the WORD or SPIRIT of GOD, which is being poured out from Heaven through the seven pipes into the churches which are really one church, one SPIRIT, one GOD. The bowl on top of the menorah (seven golden candlesticks) is like GOD’S bank, wherein the churches can withdraw GOD’S WORD and dispense it to the lost souls in the world. Those that dispense the WORD are also like banks which have the golden oil in them, which again is the WORD, the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD.
JESUS said, “The WORDS that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE” (John 6:63). All those that dispense the WORD of GOD into lost souls are actually dispensing immortality or eternal life.6 And the two olive trees which are standing next to the menorah or seven golden candlesticks that represent the churches, which are all one, are also mentioned in the book of Revelation, chapters 1 and 11, as well as Zechariah 4:3. And the two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl (which is CHRIST’S bank for us to withdraw from) and the other upon the left side thereof, are symbolic of GOD’S two witnesses, one of the very last signs that must happen just before CHRIST comes back to earth again. This end-time sign is also mentioned in the eleventh chapter of Revelation. Anyone telling you that CHRIST is coming before these two witnesses appear is a false prophet. The ministry of these two olive trees or witnesses of GOD must happen first before CHRIST returns. These two witnesses will be Enoch and his wife, or Enoch and Daniel. Enoch never died. HE was taken by GOD because he walked with GOD (Genesis 5:22, 24). But he must come back to earth because he has to die, since “it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). If CHRIST had to die, we have to die also.
Zechariah 4:4 states, “So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?” Even Zechariah, who was a great prophet of GOD, didn’t know what these things were. The angel told Zechariah, “This is the WORD of the LORD unto Zerubbabel [Zerubbabel was the man who led Israel out of captivity from Babylon, where they were held in captivity for 70 years because they sinned against GOD. It was GOD that gave Zerubbabel the wisdom, knowledge, and ability to lead them out of Babylon] saying, Not by might [a mighty army], nor by power [not by the power of Zerubbabel], but by MY SPIRIT, saith the LORD of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6).
Every mighty work of GOD cannot be contrived or maneuvered by man’s schemes or feeble power, but all notable works of GOD are done by HIS SPIRIT. “Who art thou, O great mountain? [A mountain is symbolic of great problem.] before [this little man] Zerubbabel [If the SPIRIT of GOD was with him, who could be against him? (Romans 8:31) If you walk being led by the SPIRIT, all things are possible—only believe (Mark 9:23)] thou shalt become a plain [All problems shall be leveled, done away with, and he shall bring forth the headstone which is CHRIST, the SPIRIT of GOD, which is the WORD, JESUS the Chief Cornerstone of the building, the body, the temple, the bank, and the church]: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it” (Zechariah 4:7). (“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by JESUS CHRIST.” (John 1:17) In other words, there will be a divine period of time where GOD is showing HIS mercy and patience towards the sinners who will eventually repent after the fear of GOD comes upon them.
“Moreover the WORD of the LORD came unto [Zechariah], saying, The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house [it is already established that the hands of Zerubbabel were given the power to establish the house of GOD, not by his power or by his might, but by the SPIRIT of the LORD]; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you” (Zechariah 4:8-9).
“For who hath despised the day of small things? [The people of the world should never neglect any detail of the WORD of GOD because we live by EVERY WORD that proceeds from the mouth of GOD (Matthew 4:4).] for they [the people of GOD] shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet [meaning the perfectly level, truthful WORD of GOD] in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes [the seven SPIRITS] of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth [observing all the good things and all the evil things being done by every soul on earth]” (Zechariah 4:10).
“Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth” (Zechariah 4:11-14).
The god of this earth is the devil who runs the world government and media which make war with GOD, the WORD of GOD, and HIS people, as well as the people of the world whom Satan has deceived.7 Revelation 12:9 states, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out [from Heaven] into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
And GOD states in Revelation 11:3: “And I will give power unto MY two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth [which means they will be fasting and praying]. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the god of the earth [Again, the god of this earth is the devil, and these are the two prophets mentioned in Zechariah chapter four]. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed” (Revelation 11:4-5).
“These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will” (Revelation 11:6). Those of you who hate GOD and HIS preachers better heed these scriptures, because these two prophets or witnesses are two Christians that you will not be able to push around.
The book of Ecclesiastes 12:6 says, “Or ever the silver cord be loosed [when you die], or the golden bowl be broken [the meaning of this is that when the SPIRIT of GOD was deposited in you, and HE takes you to Heaven when you die, you go to meet the LORD for judgment of your soul], or the pitcher be broken at the fountain [this meaning is the pitcher, your body, which held your spirit, goes before the LORD who is the fountain of life, the fountain of living waters8] or the wheel broken at the cistern [the wheel is symbolic of your work on earth being over. The cistern is CHRIST. The broken wheel is symbolic of the work on earth you did before you die, and at the cistern, which is CHRIST, means that the work that you did was possibly the work of GOD, but it’s over.] Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto GOD who gave it” (Ecclesiastes 12:6-7).
“And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear GOD, and keep HIS commandments: for this is the whole duty of man” (Ecclesiastes 12:12-13).
Why don’t you let GOD deposit HIMSELF into you so that you can become a bank or bonded warehouse for HIM to dispense HIS WORD to others so that you can spend eternity in Heaven with HIM, and not spend eternity in Hell or the Lake of Fire? Start out now by saying this prayer:
Prayer
My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11
