The Apostle Paul warns all true Christians, “Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law [or court] before the unjust, and not before the saints?” (I Cor. 6:1). Why? It is because they all hate God. The Word of God is God (John 1:1). They hate the law of God and Jesus said, “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you” (John 15:18). “If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you (John 15:20). If they kill Me, they will kill you also. Jesus predicted that He would so die for His truth—His disciples took it for a loss, but Jesus rose from the dead (Matt.20:17-19).

Moses, Elijah, and Jesus were all seen alive after death. The Baptist John lost faith at the end, but the others such as the Apostle Paul, Peter, the Apostle John, and all the many others never lost the faith even though what Jesus told them was coming to pass.

What good would it be to lose the faith at such a time as one’s death or one’s martyrdom, just before entering into Heaven, the place where “eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for [those of us of faith] that love Him” and “keep His commandments” (I Cor. 2:9, I John 5:3)?

Beloved, I’m writing these things that you be not discouraged in the event that you or someone else you know looses a case in the courts of the unjust or that they be put to death or sent to prison.

They are still lying about Jesus, saying He had sex and had a son—but He is in Heaven and in my and your heart if you have unwavering faith. “Pray always,” Jesus said (Luke 21:36). Paul echoes, “Pray without ceasing” (I Thes. 5:17).
