Just stop what you’re doing and say, “Praise the Lord.” Then say, “Thank you Jesus.” Doesn’t it feel good to just praise in His name?

Now America, we have a problem–gangs. Our kids, your babies, are joining gangs, and we don’t seem to have a solution. Well, for myself, I was a member and also a leader of a gang named the Bone Family, and I was also a member of the Black Gangster Disciples.

We seem to somehow look right over the solution. We allow our kids to sit in front of televisions to watch violence and destruction. These television programs paint a picture of our society in their brains. We are a society that is falling down. Don’t allow the television to be your baby sitter, because it’s just too much violence, and kids these days learn fast.

In the early 60’s, America was shocked by the hippie movement. The Alamo Christian Church had a solution, and through the faith of God they made that solution work. Thousands of hippies turned away from drugs and violence and turned to Christ. Now the same church has the same solution once again.

You, the American people ask, “Where’s the problem?” Well, I’ll tell you where the problem is. It was always said that if you wanted to find the solution, you must first find out where the problem came from. I have watched so many news reports and read so many newspaper articles on gangs, and they all say the same thing. “It’s the color of the clothes they wear or how they wear their clothes.” American people, do you really think that this is all there is to it? If you do, then I hate to disappoint you, because it isn’t.

These are not the gangs of the 60’s or the 70’s or even the 80’s. These are the gangs of the 90’s, and the gangs are much more intelligent now. Hand signals are used much in gangs to show love for their brothers or sisters. Certain hair styles are used by gangs to show unity and to express the gang’s name. Speaking in code is very, very popular within gangs. They speak in these codes to throw the average person off. These are facts, and the reason that I know they are facts is because I spent my life in gangs.

Now, when kids are babies, their mothers love and nourish them. They feed them when they are hungry, they rock them when they cry, and they hug them when they need love. The father of the child makes the baby feel protected. He makes the baby feel strong and invulnerable. As the child grows up, the child still has need for this love and nourishment from his mother, and the child still needs to feel this strength and protection from his father. The first time that the parent lacks of these ingredients, but not the main ingredient, the child will go astray and find that love and power in a gang.

Now the main ingredient is Jesus. If the parents aren’t spiritually involved and spiritually motivated, so that the child can grow up in a spiritual environment, then the family is without Christ, and if you are without Christ, then you are without everything. So you can use money to buy your kids cars, clothes and other materials, but you can’t use money to buy Christ. See, Christ is free. Before there was money and cars and clothes, there was Christ.

A child is just like a flower. Before it’s a flower, it’s a seed. You must first place this seed into the ground. Now in order for this seed to develop, God must first bless the ground. Now the ground must have water to start the process of growth, and that water must have nutrients, and also the seed must have sunlight, because nutrients and sunlight provide strength to the seed for development. Now if you provide enough water and nutrients and sunlight to this seed, it will grow to be a beautiful flower. If you stop giving that seed those ingredients, then it will soon wilt away. So if the family doesn’t have Christ, and is not giving that child spiritual water, which is the Word of God, then their once beautiful child will soon wilt away, and that’s when the devil will plant his seed, the seed of destruction.

So now you know that Jesus is the solution and the solver of all problems. We must pray to Jesus to conquer all of our problems. You asked for the solution, and myself, Reginald Jackson, World Pastor Tony Alamo and the Holy Alamo Christian Church have led you to the solution.

Don’t be the next parent to say, “I gave my baby everything he or she needed. That can’t be my baby. She would never do that.” You can save your child. Don’t make the biggest mistake of your life. Give your child the spiritual guidance and the spiritual bond.

If this situation has hit your family, or you feel it’s about to, get saved. Find Jesus like I did. See, Jesus is a habit breaker and a gangbuster. Pastor Alamo has come to bring this world back to Christ, back to the Bible. Give him a chance to make a difference. If you need that spiritual guidance or have any questions, first pray to Jesus. Start off by saying this prayer:

Prayer

My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. 2 I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. 3 I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit 4 and that He sits on the right hand of God at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus, You will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Bible says so. 8 Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as You command and sin no more. 11

You've just completed the first step in a series of five steps which are necessary to receive salvation. Your second step is to deny yourself and take up the cross daily for the purpose of mortifying yourself, that is, for putting to death your own will, your soulful self, and the world with all of its lusts. All these must be baptized into the death of Christ.

Step three is your resurrection from the satanic life of Adam unto the sinless life of Christ. Step four is your ascension into a position of authority to reign for God on earth, and the fifth step is to reign for God on earth to the end for the purpose of bringing about the kingdom of Heaven on earth. You must learn the Word of God, then submit yourself and do what the Word says, so that the Church and the world may see evidence of your submission to God's Word, His order, and His authority in and by you.

Praise the Lord. May God reward you abundantly.
