MORE POWERFUL THAN THIS BIG OAK TREE

When JESUS sent HIS disciples out into the harvest field for GOD, HE first gave them the power to preach to the lost sheep of Israel without any fear of the devil.1 HE told them to simply say, “The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils” (Matthew 10:7-8). JESUS gave them this power and commanded them to use it!2 HE also gives every SPIRIT-filled Christian this same power throughout the ages, and this also means today!3
JESUS commanded HIS disciples not to take any provisions for themselves, telling them not to carry “gold, nor silver, nor brass in [their] purses, Nor scrip for [their] journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves” (Matthew 10:9-10). They didn’t need staves or canes yet because they were not yet old.
You don’t go out like this, stripped of all money and protection, unless you definitely have the power of GOD in you to do all the above-mentioned miracles! JESUS said to them that when you do the works of GOD in the eyes of the public and in their houses, “The workman is worthy of his meat [his food, lodging, and all other provisions]. And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy [who is a Godly person or persons]; and there abide till ye go thence. And when ye come into an house, salute it. And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
“But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for MY sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the SPIRIT of your FATHER which speaketh in you.
“And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for MY NAME'S sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 10:10-22).
I have written of the time I was at my Los Angeles church, one of the several which I pastor. There was a huge oak tree around thirty feet from the church. I have written literature about that tree, how GOD told me I would have to be millions of times stronger than that mammoth tree.4 This HE told me when I asked HIM to make me as powerful as that tree. I went into the church puzzled at what GOD had told me. The church was full of people, and they laughed when I told them. All at once, it felt like an earthquake hit us, and the church shook violently. People looked out of the window. It was the tree. It had fallen! Its roots were up in the air! GOD was not kidding. I have had to be millions of times stronger than that big, dead tree! This happened around fifteen minutes after GOD told me this!
The battles that are being fought today are SPIRITUAL for the Christian,5 but for those who are secular, the battles that are being fought are psychological and financial. Currently there is a race to own the moon. The country that owns it will be filled with enough pride to sustain them, if time goes on for another forty or fifty years. Both China and the U.S. want to own the moon because of its helium and minerals, and because they can use it as a launching pad to Mars.
Every day for a Christian is a mountain hike, a very difficult and stormy mountain hike. (Order a vision tract GOD gave me entitled “Difficult Mountain.”) It takes the fear of the Lord to go out to the world with GOD’S message of “Repent: for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). If you want eternal life in Heaven, you will have to fear GOD more than you fear the one-world beast government!6 And you must do it with no gold, no silver, no brass, and virtually no provisions, with the exception of THE POWER OF GOD! JESUS said, “Whosoever shall not receive you, or hear your words [which are really the words of the LORD], when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city [and we know that GOD will not at all tolerate Sodom and Gomorrah7]” (Matthew 10:14-15).
JESUS warns us all of the steep mountain with all of its difficulties (and this has happened to us) by saying, “And the [Christian] brother [who has fallen away] shall deliver up the [true Christian] brother to death [this is to save their own skin, they think], and the [fallen away Christian] father, the child: and the [ungodly] children shall rise up against their [Christian] parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for MY NAME’S sake [One of the names of CHRIST is ‘THE WORD OF GOD’ (Revelation 19:13, John 1:1, 14). Because we love to preach, teach, and distribute THE WORD OF GOD, and because we love the name of CHRIST, it’s a daily mountain climb to Heaven]: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 10:21-22).
We must be as our MASTER (JESUS). JESUS said, “If they [the unsaved people of the world] have called [JESUS who is] the MASTER of the house [the devil] how much more shall they call [the Christians] them of HIS household devils [we who are born-of-the-SPIRIT Christians?]” (Matthew 10:25). “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear HIM which is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell” (Matthew 10:28). We are not to go to the moon or own it. The moon is not far enough. Set your heart for Heaven.8 This is as far as you can go. It is wonderful to be saved. Give yourself to JESUS now; be saved now by saying this prayer:

My LORD and my GOD, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. 1 I believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of the living GOD. 2 I believe that HE died on the cross and shed HIS precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former sins. 3 I believe that GOD raised JESUS from the dead by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT 4 and that HE sits on the right hand of GOD at this moment, hearing my confession of sin and this prayer. 5 I open up the door of my heart, and I invite YOU into my heart, LORD JESUS. 6 Wash all of my filthy sins away in the precious blood that YOU shed in my place on the cross at Calvary. 7 YOU will not turn me away, LORD JESUS; YOU will forgive my sins and save my soul. I know because YOUR WORD, the Bible, says so. 8 YOUR WORD says that YOU will turn no one away, and that includes me. 9 Therefore, I know that YOU have heard me, and I know that YOU have answered me, and I know that I am saved. 10 And I thank YOU, LORD JESUS, for saving my soul, and I will show my thankfulness by doing as YOU command and sin no more.11
After salvation, JESUS said to be baptized, fully submerged in water, in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT.12 Diligently study the KJV Bible, and do what it says.13

Bring ye all the tithes [a ‘tithe’ is 10% of your gross income] into the storehouse, that there may be meat [Spiritual food] in MINE house [souls saved], and prove ME now herewith, saith the LORD of HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of HOSTS. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of HOSTS” (Malachi 3:8-12).
